      Buyer beware! Ordered a fridge in mid June for delivery and was told someone would follow up within 24 hrs for delivery instructions. On the second day emailed them and they said they actually couldn’t deliver to that address but if I could pick up in store they could place the order and it would be in within 1-2 weeks. After another week they texted and said actually the manufacturer wouldn’t have it available until late July and would I like a different model in a different color than what I ordered. I said that model wouldn’t work. Asked today if I could cancel the order because I could get it sooner somewhere else and magically it is going to arrive tomorrow and I can’t cancel without a 30% restocking fee. I don’t trust this company at this point and am thinking about just eating the restocking fee so I can get the item from another company I trust. Would never order from them again.

      Can I go less than 1 star? Do not trust Big Sandy to do the right thing! They sold us a defective “multi-media” couch and charged nearly $400 to “return” it to the store. They have a 3 day return policy, even if you had an open work order on the 2nd day. We went to the store nearly every other day, for 2 weeks, asking “for help” but, to get support to come fix the problem you must pay up $137. With this level of customer service and support, I am not sure how they stay in business. No not buy anything from them if you expect customer service after the sale.

      Ordered and paid for a bed from the Mt. ********, ** location on 3/29/25. Special order 8 weeks. Salesman called me on 4/8 saying it will now take 10 weeks, I was fine with that and instructed him to proceed with the order. 6/13/25 called to check status and no one there could find my order. Receptionist said she would call me back in 5 minutes. 16 hours later on 6/14, I had to call the store. The salesman told me that they were not going to make the bed because they were changing brands. he told me he knew this back on 4/8, but was told to "tell me 10 weeks in hopes that I would cancel my order". I expressed my extreme disappointment in their lack of honesty and the fact that I wasted over 2 months expecting a bed when I could have been looking for a different one.I then asked to have my money refunded immediately. He said that the front desk had to take care. I told to go to the front desk after we hang up and take care of it and that I expected to see a refund within the next 2 hours or I would be calling his manager. He agreed and we ended the phone call. 4 days later still no refund.. I had to call once again on 6/18. I asked to speak with the manager, but he was busy with another sucker, I mean customer. The front desk said she needed my credit card # to issue a refund because they don't keep that information on hand.. Why didn't you call me 4 days ago??? If I hadn't called how much time would have gone by?? I believe they would have felt just fine keeping my money!I asked that the manager call me back, but history with this "Superstore" has shown that I will never receive a call from those crooks.I do plan to stop in the next time I am in Mt. Pleasant to speak with that manager and express my complete disgust in the way he manages his store.I will never make a purchase at any Big Sandy Superstore and I will warn every friend and family member I know to stay away from Big Sandy's and to tell their Friends and family the same. ******** customer service!

      The communication and service weve received has been terrible from our internet salesperson, ****. I purchased ***** appliances (range, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator) in March. At the time of order we were told the refrigerator would be delivered late April or early May. He knew this order was for a new build therefore not replacing current appliances. I received all of my appliances except the refrigerator on May 19. At this time I was told the refrigerator would be in late May or early June. I've never recieved an update from my salesperson without calling into the corporate office or texting a local store for assistance but since it was an internet sale, the store cannot help much. Its now June 5th and I am being told now that I will not recieve my fridge until end of July. Thats 4.5 months after placing my order, and that's if they dont push it out again. Big Sandy has not offered any solution such as a rental until my order is delivered or anything. We moved into our home 3 weeks ago, going another 7 weeks at minimum without a fridge we paid for 3 months ago is just unacceptable. Poor inventory management on Big Sandy's end. We've purchased furniture multiple times from Big Sandy, but after this experience, I doubt we will again.

      Nothing has been good with this company from bringing the wrong item twice when to paying for the extremely expensive warranty that literally covers nothing. The first warranty issue was it took over a year for them to replace an item. Now they say that ink is not covered for them to send someone out to clean the area on the couch but the salesman literally sold it by telling us ink and everything is covered. Would never buy another item from this company even if I had to use 1970s furniture the rest of my life instead. Please dont waste you hard earned money with these liars

      **** ******** was fantastic. I went to several appliance stores for a refrigerator and dishwasher. **** went above and beyond...showing complete selection...price ..and rebate information..the other places were just looking for the sale... **** made sure I had all the information about the products...and delivery and set-up information. He spent time to explain all my questions and gave me answers. **** is my appliance guy.

      Sofa/chaise was delivered with legs for both sides missing. Was told legs had to be ordered from manufacturer. Sofa was delivered on 3/24/25 and parts supposedly ordered 3/26/25. It's almost 2 months and I was just told legs were on back order. I've asked to speak with a supervisor twice to no avail. Worst customer service I've ever encountered and will never purchase from them again!

      Rebate process is absurd! The hoops you have to jump through to obtain a rebate is difficult! It's intentional to hopefully keep folks from doing it. Then..you have to wait for it!This will be my last purchase from Big Sandy! Buyers be aware

      Don't buy from Big ******** there customer service is non existent, once the sale is made they could care less about anything, I purchased from the store manager himself and when I had a damaged product he promised the world, he just never did anything to make sure I got my replacement, never once did he call me to verify my replacement, is had to call him every time to find out what was gonna be done, after 70 plus days I bought the replacement from **** ****t, Big ****** is supposed to come tomorrow and got there damaged dishwasher out of my living room so i can get my refund, will never stop foot in a *** ****** store ever again

      1) We purchased a refrigerator, range, and microwave November 2024. Since they didn't install (we paid for installation), we hired others to install. I complained to the salesperson who said >$250 would be credited to the ********* account. It's been 5 months and still calling and emailing to get this resolved. 2) Our purchases were eligible for rebates. Again, it's been 5 months and still waiting. 3) We purchased ** ********* smart range. The dials show low settings but the range doesn't cook on low. Everything burns. 4) The Thin Q app is frustrating. It always shows unread messages but I go through the entire app and can't find anything that hasn't been read or processed. Guessing it's their way to get you to select sales/promotion offers; but I can purchase through ****** for half or less. If I select features, it resets privacy settings so I have to repeat requests to block sharing/selling my information. 5) Every time I use the oven, Thin Q says the oven needs cleaned. Every time! 6) I regret upgrading our appliances. 7) Big Sandy advertises no interest for 12 months but it requires opening ********* account. **************** says monthly payment is 1/3 what it should be for 12-month payoff. If any balance is due after 12 months, over 30% interest (back interest and going forward) kicks in. In our case, that's thousands of dollars! ********* wouldn't accept the 1st payment so I tried daily. Then two days before it was due, finally got it processed. They'll do whatever to kick that interest in.
