On 2/27/2025, I ordered $190.26 worth of items. For some reason, it was divided into two packages, which in itself isn’t odd. On March 12, the smaller package, worth only $11.70 of products, came to me just fine. However, the bulk of the order went to somewhere in **********, Kentucky—I live in California! I have tried calling, texting, and emailing and no one has replied. I really would like the products in this order to be re-sent to me—at the correct address. Failing that, I would like a refund for the items, plus tax, that were shipped to the incorrect address.

I received a gift card for Christmas for $100.00 from JoAnn Fabric. I went on 03/07/25 to JoAnn Fabric and was told they weren't accepting gift cards. I spoke to a store manager who confirmed they were not taking gift cards. I called the corporate number which had a recorded message and then disconnected. I went to the JoAnn Fabric website and left a message on their contact us site. I would like to have my $100.00 for the gift card returned to me.

I was given a $50 gift certificate as a Christmas present in 2024.
JoAnn’s has posted a sign saying they will not honor gift certificates as of February 28, 2025.
Since the gift certificate is something they have ALREADY been paid for, this seems like it must be patently illegal to refuse to honor it.
Please help resolve this for myself and many others.
      Thank you.

This retailer, at all locations, is going out of business. It has not come to my attention from a news article, that none of said locations will honor any gift cards. Gift cards that were purchased with good intentions and given to be spent at Joann fabric and craft.I have 2 such gift cards and did expect to spend them before the stores closure. My son purchased them for me, spending his hard earned money, gifting them to me.

I received a $25.00 gift card for Christmas and went to Joann today March 13 to use it and was told my last day to redeem my card was March 1st. I had already selected my fabric and was informed of this at the cash register upon checking out, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. The gift card was purchased in good faith and I wasn't aware that i had a specific date to use the card due to the company going out of business, I feel that this is bad business since the company received their money and i wasn't made aware of the deadline. It isn't like the store is already closed or that a closing date has been established,

I was gifted a $20 gift card for Christmas. Now that Joann is no longer accepting gift cards as payment, I would like to have the funds reimbursed.

Received a gift card for Christmas. Found out today that gift cards are no longer accepted at any Joanns stores due to bankruptcy. The Joanns website simply says gift cards are no longer accepted but does not give any information on what the customers can do to recoup their money. I think they are intentionally not advertising what customers with unused gift cards can do to get their money back. I am very disappointed that Joanns is closing, sad for their employees, and upset about being unable to use my gift card, despite stores remaining open.

Received a gift card for Joann’s for $25. The business is now closing and they would not allow me to use the gift card.

Store refusing to honor their return policy that was in place at the time of purchase. Attempts to contact Joann's customer service regarding this issue have not resolved the problem.

Items purchased on 12/9/24, prior to bankruptcy policy changes announced in February 2025. At the time of purchase store return policy was that they accept new, unopened items with no time limit on the return. I would like to return 3 items under that policy (1 skene of each colored yarn in the order).

Since the announcement that JoAnn Fabrics will be closing their doors as a business, they have denied customers the use of gift cards. How is this legal?
If a store receives the funds from the purchase of the gift card at the time of the purchase, the store already has the money. By denying the customer the right to use the card, in effect, isn't the store keeping customer money without providing a product?
The amount remaining on my gift card is minimal; however, the ethics behind this store closing includes not only refusing to allow the exchange of product for gift card but also charging more for items than a regular "open" JoAnn's store charged (i.e., On any given day, JoAnn was known to provide from 40% to 60% discounts on products. With the store closing, all products have been returned to "regular" pricing, price check machines have been disconnected for customer use, and 10% and 20% and some 40% "sales" are offered. The store is drawing customers for sales that are actually more costly than a typical cost on any day when the store was a retailer open for business). How is this ethical?
