      On March 2022 we had Leaf Home Water Solutions come and install a Home Filtration System that was salt free. Me and my husband were told during the appt by the agent ******* ****** that our water has around 650 TDS ( after testing it) and it’s unsafe to drink and that their system would bring that number down to 100 since that is what good drinking water should be . We got the system installed and it cost us 8100$. After installation I asked for a water testing to see if it works to which I was told they don’t do that and if I really insist I’d have to speak with the manager. Long story short, Operation Manager ***** came and was visibly irritated by the request to which I answered: “u can’t expect to pay for something and not test that it works. I can’t take your word for it.” Anyways I was shocked to find after testing that numbers were the same almost: about 650 vs about 575 post installation. He then tested the kitchen faucet RO water which was below 100. He kept comparing the previous with the RO one instead of the regular running water which we wash dishes with , take showers ( our skin is the biggest organ therefore there’s absorption through the skin more than we think) wash clothes, use in the kitchen for washing vegetables and others. Anyway, I was forced to pay because the manager said otherwise he’d put a lien on my house if not. I paid the 8100$. After some phone calls he said he would reimburse me 2500$ because of the wrong information I was given. By the time I received the check ( which I haven’t cashed yet- because the problem is now soo much bigger) I noticed a white thick film on my drinking glasses, the inside of my dishwasher, the inside of the washing machine, all my shower fixtures are ruined/ stained white. I tried to call him back and reason with him, ask to fix it but he didn’t want to. I now have damaged soo many of my appliances and can only imagine what my pipes look like. I need reimbursement and for them to pay for the damages caused.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me.Right after I filed the complaints, I received a call from the manager who still didn’t take ownership about their mistake but offered to help fix part of it. They came on Monday Aug 15th and replaced the old CTO and carbon filter with the water softener and a carbon filter. However, I am reluctant to say everything is good because of soo many fails at every turn with this company. I sent you some pictures from when they did the swap and it looks like the inlet is completely rusty and so was at the mouth of the CTO( this is the inlet that the water that’s already been filtered of iron should go through, soo there should be no iron residue at that point). When I asked the manager over the phone about why my running water was brown he said it was because of my pipes. What?!?! So, no responsibility. It turned out they did a bad job calibrating/ setting the whole thing up from the beginning, in March when they set it up. The iron removing filter tank was never set to rinse, it was set on 0, soo these whole months we’ve been getting Rusty/ Washed up water through our house( hence the color of the faucet water). My house has been destroyed, dishwasher, washing machine, sinks, shower fixtures, toilets from the calcium and iron deposits in the water( all bought new when we moved here 2.5 years ago). I don’t trust them and I’m scared on what to expect next. They didn’t offer to replace/reimburse us for any of the damages done to our house and that’s not ok. I also sent you a picture of my toilet after flushing in which the water is so yellow it looks like ***( and no, the toilet is not dirty, it was just washed prior) . This faucet water is the water we’ve been taking showers with, brushing our teeth, wash our dishes and prep meals with. I would appreciate it if people just did their jobs that they were hired for. I wanted to attach more pics with the color of the water( and I have a lot more and videos) but this message wont let me attach anymore. If you want to see more let me know, pls. I appreciate you reaching out to them . They need to pay for the damages done to my goods. Me and my husband work really hard for our money ( he’s a tile guy, I’m an ICU nurse, money do not just “happen” to us, nor are we rich to just replace everything like it’s no issue.) Why is it too much to ask for people to be held accountable for their mistakes and to make it right on their end ?

      Customer has refused to allow us to service and has refused
      all settlement agreements.  Customer’s request for full refund and to keep
      product has been found to be unreasonable.  Customer can not keep product
      at no cost.
