      Was never given the opportunity to ask about the car being in neutral and the worker decided to go ahead with spraying my front wind shield before any questions could be asked resulting in the damage that occurred..

      Spoke with a lady today that said I was incorrect based on “Non verbal” cues from the worker… And signs out front I should’ve seen… Unreal that this is the damage done with an $1800 repair bill they are not wanting to cover

      When viewing our video footage of this incident we can see that our associate motioned for the customer, ****** to put his vehicle into "neutral", but that the customer's vehicle immediately takes off into "drive".  We also have a sign at the entrance of our carwash prior to entering as a reminder for our customers stating that the vehicle will need to be in neutral and not in drive. If the customer had any questions, he could have asked our associate who sold to him prior to entering the carwash. For these above reasons we feel we had done all that we could have done to instruct the customer.

      We understand it is an upsetting situation, but we do not feel we are liable for this incident being he was in drive.

      Took my **** ****** to Mike's Car Wash around 845pm
      As I was just beginning to enter the wash at the direction of the employee - a noise was heard. I stopped, got out and you can see my wheel liner under my tire of the drivers side.
      I had just came from the Expressway with no issues - nor was anything mentioned during approaching and paying the employee for the wash - nor was anything said as I was entering the wash from an employee. The noise was so loud there would have been no way of NOT hearing it as I came into the business.

      I am asking for my car to be fully repaired, as the damaged was caused by the business. I believe that the employee had me enter with the vehicle being too far to the right causing the car to not be aligned correctly placing the rail you place your tires between to damage the lower piece that connected to the wheel liner, taking it off my car and ultimately under my drivers wheel. The piece came off all the way and is in my trunk.
      The estimate of damages we have was $1800 from the Dealer body shop we took it to.

      In addition - there obviously is an issue, otherwise the business would not have a 'claims' dept and many in my area have reported issues of damages to vehicles with the same store in *********

      19 dollar deal to try unlimited washes seemed like a good idea, tried it out on 8/27/2023 and came out my seals on my car came off and you guys scratched all 4 of my rims. I’m so unhappy

      Streamers are lodged in both sides of my car causing paint chip damage, possibly more damage will be taking my car for further inspection to a certified dealership. Mike's Carwash needs to take accountability and reimburse me for all costs. I alerted them a week or so ago, that I had a prior incident with a streamer, and clearly nothing was done to fix this problem, and now again I have streamers stuck in my car with damage. I uploaded the incident from 8/20 will provide photo of prior incident if needed.

      I went through the carwash and damage accured to my brand new vehicle. They refuse to do anything about it. I know for a fact there was no previous damage

      The customer did file a claim on his vehicle concerning a scratch on the driver's side of his mirror. We know it can be very frustrating when you find damage on your vehicle for the first time. *** **** has a very nice vehicle and can understand his concerns on this; however, we did look into this further and watched video footage of his vehicle going through the carwash. The vehicle proceeds through the carwash as normal with no issues. Also, there was only the one scratch which if something was caught in our cloth it would have scratched the entire vehicle not just one area of his vehicle. 

      For these reasons we are not liable for the damage to his mirror.

      Damage caused to paint by brushes in car wash. There are three places same height and size down the passenger side of the vehicle that were scratched by something in the brushes. The incident happened on 6-24-2023. Complaint was made to Mike's. They are denying they caused the damage. It is very obvious it is from the rotating brushes all the scratches are left to right swipes at the same height spaced out over several locations as the brush came around to what ever was stuck to the spinning head.

      These marks start at the passenger side rear door. If the carwash had caused these scratches this would have been down the entire passenger side of *** ******* Dodge Ram being that the cloth goes over the entire vehicle from front to back. These scratches would not be isolated to just one area of your vehicle. For this reason, we are not liable we are always willing to set up a meeting if you would like to see exactly how the cloth goes down your vehicle. If you would like to do this, we can set up a meeting with our Area Director to give you a better understanding of what we are explaining.

      Date 3/21/2023 I visited the car wash on ******* avenue. I returned home about 2 hours later and upon getting out the car I noticed scratches on the right side of the hood. The scratches were in a circular motion as they were made by the brushes. I returned the next day to file a incident report with Mitch S******. He said Janeese S*******, the claims manager would be contacting me. I received a letter dated for the NEXT DAY informing me that they did not damage the car. I don't understand how you can investigate a claim in 1 day. I emailed Janeese back a couple times letting her know i didn't agree with the decision and I provided additional information for her to review again. I was totally dissatisfied with the service of course, because they damaged my car, but also because of how quickly the incident was dismissed. My claim ID was *****. Incident report # *****.

      Customer had e-mailed us on March 27, 2023, letting us know she was unhappy with our denial on her claim. She was claiming scratches on her hood. When looking into it further we found this damage was there on her vehicle prior to entering the carwash. We have attached a photo showing you what we had sent to the customer showing the previous damage before the entered into the carwash.

      For this reason, we still do not feel we are liable for this.

      Hello...sorry for the late reply. I do not agree witj the business response. I dont see where there are any scratches prior to me entering the car wash. There were no scratches on my hood..at all. This is not resolved.

      We are sorry that she is not seeing these scratches on the photo we submitted, but the scratches are definitely there on the hood prior to the carwash. We are always willing to arbitrate this matter with her if she so desires to do so.  With these scratches being there we are still denying all liability.

      I took my 3 week old ****** through Mike's Car Wash on June 7 2023 in ******* **. This is the first time the car has been washed. When I immediately drove home and inspected the car I found over 10 identical scratches on the hood. I took it back and filed a claim. They gave Janeese S********* phone number. She refused to do anything at all. They charged me $14.00 to ruin my brand new car!

      My husband took my car to the Fairfield, Ohio, location last Saturday, April 15th. Before he entered the carwash, he asked the attendants to spray off the car. During the spraying off he said that he heard a bang/popping noise while one of the attendants sprayed on the driver’s side of the car. He went through the wash and pulled into a neighboring parking lot to look over the car as we always do after using Mike's. On the side where they were spraying when he heard the noise, there was a dent and scratches ON THE ROOF OF THE DRIVER's SIDE REAR DOOR.
      He went right back to Mike's and told the attendants. They took pictures and he filled out a claim. The attendants assured him that the whole process would be reviewed extensively as the cameras that see everything and someone would call him no later than 5 days. But that didn't happen. No one called and it seems the extensive review of the claim took 3 days (if reviews happen Saturday and Sunday) because the date of the boilerplate letter we received was April 18th. The same letter that it seems everyone who files a claim receives, stating that "The machines are specifically designed not to scratch or dent YOUR DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR". "In many cases the first time a person notices this type of damage is after a carwash". "If we did cause this damage in question, there is an excellent chance we would do the same to other vehicles."

      As a consumer, how would I know if you damaged all the cars that day, that week, or that month? The claim was that an attendant using a pressure washer hit the car with the wand, how does this fit into your significant investments in equipment?

We have saved that footage and it does show our associate spraying down their vehicle but it doesn't come close or make contact with the driver's side rear door area.       I took my vehicle through the Centerville Mike's Car Wash on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. I immediately went home, parked my car in the garage, and did not drive anywhere else. The next day, I pulled my car out of the garage to apply tire shine and discovered a huge 4-5" crack in the paint on my rear bumper which was NOT there before. I meticulously maintain my vehicle and am aware of every slight paint imperfection and would not have missed a huge 4-5" crack in the paint. I filed a claim at the location, and was told the Claim Manager would be in touch with me. I received a letter today (Saturday, March 11, 2023) stating their equipment did not damage my vehicle and that I only noticed the cracked paint because my vehicle was clean. My car was not so filthy that a 4-5" crack in the paint was not visible. The previous time I took my vehicle through their facility, I got a wash with tire shine which ended up all over the sides of my vehicle so I had to essentially re-wash my vehicle at home and did not have any paint cracks on my bumper at that time. The paint cracks from the top of the bumper, indicative of something hitting it from above which would have happened from the car wash equipment. Nothing has fallen on my vehicle in the garage.

      I was given the opportunity to meet with the General Manager to review the footage of my car being processed through the facility.  Based on the clear footage of me entering the car wash, he confirmed that my vehicle was NOT damaged prior to entering.  The remainder of the footage obtained within the car wash was either from obscure angles or the picture was too blurry / pixelated and the GM could not confirm nor deny the damage took place in the car wash.  He could not say with 100% certainty that the car wash did not damage my vehicle.  The GM said he would send me the footage for my records but the next correspondence would be with the Claims Manager.  Upon speaking with the Claims Manager, I was informed that I would not actually be receiving the footage the GM promised would be sent to me.  I was told to just "agree to disagree" on this matter and they are adamant they are not liable.  Ironic, considering the GM stated the footage was not clear enough to make that distinction.  We will be proceeding to take this to Small Claims Court.
