Went to Springdale location this morning and what a waste of money and I just purchased a 6 month pass for car washers. Door panels weredirty, front and back bumpers were dirty, and hardly any tire shine on the tires. I basically came home and had to wash the car again. Hopefully I can get my money back.Mike's Carwash, Inc.

Was a claim filed on this? As a customer you are always able to go to the location and file a claim. If you have a claim, please indicate your claim number and name that would be helpful, and I can look into this incident. Thank you.Review fromChris G

1 starThis is not the first time I have had damage to a vehicle that I own from a wash at Mike's Carwash. I visited the Mike's on Dupont Road in Fort Wayne on 2/9/24 at 3:52. So to say the least I knew the answer before I even submitted the claim. Ask your shift manager, I have the employee number should you want it. I told the employees I knew the outcome before it even started. Your shift manager/employee was professional and tried to clean it, they also mentioned that they washed that side of my vehicle as I entered the wash and they said "I do not remember seeing that mark"....hmmm. Because it wasn't there. The employee also showed me the video. Your alarms went off and the belt stopped and your right quarter panel cleaner came to rest against my Pathfinder your manager admitted such. Their words "oh it's right there!" I watched the video with my own eyes and when the belt started back up I watched the cleaner move off my passenger quarter panel right where the mark is. I am not sure why I keep giving you the opportunity to win me back as you state in the letter. I keep buying books for my adult children too. I used a new book on this date. Unfortunate and from reading the other reviews your approach is cold and seems callous to an extent. I am a 31 year veteran of the military and I expect people, organizations, and companies to toe the line and accept responsibility. Also because of my background I am meticulous with my care and upkeep of my vehicles, my level of attention to detail is high as I like to keep my vehicles looking sharp, it is an investment. I want a refund on the remaining coupons I have in my book (6) and expect you to honor this. I will be telling my children to seek a refund for their coupon books as well. I will not be going back and please note that I want to take this higher within your organization. I left a voicemail for your claims manager and the number on the letter goes to a voicemail for another name?Review fromTroy H

Something is going on at Mike's Carwash on Glenway. Very suspicious behavior . On February 3, 2024, I along with my granchildren and daughter arrived to procure the services of a company I have frequented many times before, having spent a considerable sum for them to tend to my various verhicles. All told, I have spent thousands of dollars at Mike's carwash, but I will never go there again for as long as I live. And this is why: After following the explicit instructions of the young lady requesting that I position the wheels correctly in order to pull onto the tracks, and giving me the green light to proceed, and thereby placing my car in neutral in order to ride out the rails; moments later, I was approached by a different employee, as I was sitting on the track, anticipating the wash, and asked to "turn my wheel all the way to the right, and back up," which I obliged. Then he told me "everything is good, to put my car back in neutral" (the second time I was told to do this), and that I "was good." We then went through the carwash as eagerly anticipated. We all know this drill; we've all done this a million times before. So, imagine my surprise, when upon the conclusion of the carwash, which was a wondrous entertainment for my young grandchildren , yet another employee, this time claiming to be the manager - William L - approached me, waving me to the side, only to inform me that I had damaged their equipment. Huh? You mean you let me go through the carwash, initiating all the instructions, dictating my maneuvers, such as instructing me to go in reverse while arleady on the track, in fact giving me the green light not only once, but twice while doing so, and this while never once telling me to cease and desist or get off, or end the process, and that I damaged the equipment that you specifically provided instructions for. Needless to say, this came as quite a shock, especially as thier irresponsible instructions resulted in damage to my own vehicle.Mike's Carwash, Inc.

In review of the incident we found that the customer was loaded correctly on our conveyor and after proceeding into the wash came out and made contact with our equipment. Pictures submitted show no damage to customers vehicle and our equipment was easily repaired. Would be happy to speak to customer or show her the video of the event.Review fromRuby M

I have been an avid and loyal customer of Mike’s car washes for years. I’ve been an unlimited ultimate customer on multiple vehicles for many of those years. I’ve taken hundreds of trips through their car washes. I run through the Florence location anytime I’m in the area and have the chance. I have always had a pleasant experience and have enjoyed being a member. My vehicle was recently damaged at the Florence location. It was witnessed by multiple employees, myself, and by video surveillance cameras. Claims manager Janneese S******* initially stated in a letter over a week later, it never happened at there facility, then later acknowledged it did but my claim wouldn’t be fulfilled. General manager of Florence Phil P******i waived off the recent repairs done to the track of the Florence location as a clear result of the damage to my car and pass the blame to myself accusing me of altering my car in some way that made this happen. This same month a problem with a hose, at this location damaged over 30 vehicles. Some claims being completely denied and other claims being partially denied due to mikes car wash policy, of any components other than factory or any altered components somehow dismiss any of the negligence of this facility. On Mikes car wash website they mention the word INTEGRITY. This means communicating in an honest and direct manner, holding yourself accountable, and treating others with the respect they deserve. I feel this company does not represent or conduct business as such. They have absolutely not shown integrity in my experience. This is not all about the money. My car was ultimately damaged in their facility from a potentially faulty change that was recently made. All I was asking for was for them to do right by their wrong to a customer that has spent thousands with them over the years. What a sad outcome and a lesson to be learned for every customer and employee that works for Mikes Carwash.Mike's Carwash, Inc.

We have looked into Mr. ********* claim and did have our General Manager also meet with him to make sure that we understood everything that was happening with this claim. We have made no changes to our facility or repairs to our tracks as Mr. ******* had suggested. The reason and as we explained to Mr. ******* that the damage occurred to his vehicle is due to his vehicle being modified and having aftermarket items on his Telsa. We have signs posted at the entrance of the carwash stating we are not liable for any vehicles that have modified or aftermarket items on their cars. This was our reasoning for the denial. My name is ***** and I recently drove my brand new car to Mikes car wash and its scratched up my hood, as soon as I pulled out, I stopped to drive my car and knew instantly what happened. There was a large truck in front of me and I believe dirt or sand from the truck mustve got stuck in the brushes that then caused damage to my vehicle. I told the manager he came, looked at my car and even told me that it is common. It does happen and looking at the scratches its similar to what he has seen before. He said it would be a problem and they would they would call me and take care of it.. a few days later I got a letter with Mikes car wash telling me that they are not responsible and that the scratches did not come from them. The damage was actually minor but when you pay $35,000 for a vehicle and it gets scratches less than a month later, expect a business to be accountable. All I can say is if you care for your vehicle, my advice is to stay away from this car wash..Mike's Carwash, Inc.

I went through the car wash getting my company van washed, I came out of my van and was going to take off the plastic bags they usually put on my wipers on back windows. They didn't put them even on the wipers that day. Then I noticed a corner bumper piece off the driver's side back. I filed a complaint and few days after they sent me a letter telling me the video evidence shows that my van piece was loose or something before I went in there. That is a lie. So they won't pay me 50$ to get another one. So how is it me eating their mistake when I was in my van. People are liarsMike's Carwash, Inc.
Date: 07/27/2023
Yes, unfortunately when looking into the claim further we found that the vehicle had prior damage to this area where the corner bumper piece came off. There was a dent and scrapes right above this piece which we felt lead to this being loose and causing it to come off inside of the carwash. We always went to be fair with our customers but being there was prior damage this is something we would not be liable for. We do have a sign posted at the entrance of the carwash stating this. Thank you. - Mike's Carwash
