I apologize for my entry error. I did not mean workers comp. I meant Cobra insurance. I know that they say that they will respond......but when? How would they like to be on the receiving end of such poor service? ******* *

Absolute joke concerning customer service. Been trying to get workers comp straight for two weeks. Every employee says something different. They have now been double paid and still no proof of insurance. I would not recommend this company for anything. Where is the customer service leadership and supervisor(s)?

I put in over $1500 in my FSA account. I submitted $830 in claims for items that were FSA/HSA approved as per the store receipts, but was denied $590. There is no explanation as to why it was denied. Now that I am no longer an employee of the company, that I had this insurance with, I have a balance of $1329.87 that I can no longer use. This is money I PUT IN and now I lost it. So I basically gave Chard Snyder $1329.87. There was also an issue with the card being frozen because I had a balance at a doctor's office and Chard Snyder said I had to pay the bill first then submit a claim and they would reimburse instead of paying it right then and there. It makes no sense. If any HR people are out there reading this, I would avoid the headache of having to deal with this company.

The absolute worst. While their customer service has typically tried to be helpful, the fact that I need to talk to them so much is the problem. They are constantly rejecting legitimate medical claims and receipts/EOBs. It is beyond frustrating, and now I just expect a hassle after using my FSA card. THE WORST! Did I mention that they are the worst?

There is no one "case" that needs looking into. I'm commenting on the overall experience over the past several years. Always a battle.

Chard Snyder is constantly requesting receipts for Dentists visits or for our regularly scheduled appointments with our Pediatrician. When receipts are submitted the claim is denied with no explanation or a receipt is requested again. This company is consistently wasting my time and based on the reviews on this website and the google reviews, it seems Chard Snyder is not capable of providing a quality service to its users. This company does not provide a good service to its users and I will be requesting my HR department change FSA Benefit Plan providers. I will reference Chard Snyders low reviews on this site and google as evidence of Chard Snyders poor performance and poor customer service.

We apologize for your frustration, *****. We have investigated your account and a manager tried to call you this morning to discuss your claims documentation requests. Please return his call at the number provided. The IRS requires Chard Snyder to confirm that you used FSA funds for an eligible service or purchase. In most cases when you swipe your Chard Snyder Benefit Card, the funds are automatically deducted from your FSA. On occasion, you will be prompted to verify the eligibility of the expense you purchased. In these cases, you will receive a request from Chard Snyder for more information to substantiate, or validate, your expense. This requested documentation could be copies of itemized statements from your doctors’ office, dentists’ office, hospitals, and stores. The best form of substantiation is an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your primary insurance provider showing what you paid out-of-pocket. If you receive a notice from Chard Snyder asking for additional information of your purchase, you must prove your expense was eligible or repay the amount to your plan. You can take a picture of your EOB, itemized statement, or receipt with your mobile device and submit the documentation on the Chard Snyder mobile app or upload it to your online account. If you don’t have an itemized statement, you can contact the provider or your insurance company and request an EOB or a copy of the receipt.

i can't believer I have to give this crappy company a star - it hurts because Chard is the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure to have to deal with - they have my money and then deny my valid claims for either reimbursement or validation hiding behind the **** they say, The *** regulations no-where state that you have to have an itemized bill only a third party verification. So when I use the little clinic the statement sayS little clinic, as the lady there said " what do they think you do, come here for beer and pizza"?RIDICULOUS - UNPROFESSIONAL - RUDE - IMPOLITE AND I WISH MY EMPLOYER HAD TO DEAL WITH THEM AS THEIR EMPLOYEES HAVE HAD TO DO - MAYBE THEN THEY WOULD GET ANOTHER ADMINISTRATION COMPANY FOR OUR FSA ACCOUNT - BUT EVEN BETTER, DON'T GIVE THEM ONE DOLLAR OF YOU MONEY - THEY WILL C*** ON YOU

Worst company I have ever had to deal with for an FSA account. I've managed HR so I have a lot of experience in this area. I submitted multiple receipts for two transactions at my dentist. The first receipts were not enough so I then uploaded itemized and clearly showed how much I paid out of pocket. I called customer service who was horribly unhelpful. They needed to know how much insurance actually paid versus the estimated amount. I told them the total amount minus what I paid out of pocket is clearly what insurance paid. Event my dental office were shocked by this request. Chard has now requested me to get an EOB from my insurance provider. I have never heard of that before and why is that even relevant when I had to pay and clearly have proof of the medical services I paid for. I would not recommend ever using this company and they are unethical and do not care about people's health and well being.

They make it impossible to submit receipts and shut down your card when it's their fault that claims or receipts can't be processed.

on 4/3 i initiated a one time participation contribution to my HSA for 700$. on 4/5 they posted the transaction to my bank account twice. Such a big blunder. Money from my saving account got deducted twice but on chard Snyder it shows only once. Called to customer care and they see only transaction happening only once. such a shame hat this big financial body making such small mistakes and customer has to face all this. because of this my checking account went into overdraft
