      They also stopped taking my bank draft for my dental and vision, and my husband's dental and vision as well. I had to submit another "appeal" for their mistake, and just called to see what the status was since I submitted the "appeal" on 3-23-23. They didn't know where it was in the process, and couldn't tell me when I could expect to have my benefits restored. I thought I would post here again since they seem to monitor this site pretty closely and hopefully they will get moving on it. I'd like to go to dentist next week, but it seems like, as with my oncology visit last month, this will need to be postponed because of their screw up.

      They stopped taking my bank ACH draft after two months. I found out yesterday that I've not had insurance for four months because of it. Even though Anthem sent me a new card for my ***** in January! Spoke to someone yesterday who said they would send me an email with "appeal" procedures (not sure why I needed to appeal since it was their fault), and she never did. Spoke to someone else today who guided me through setting up an account and submitting appeal, which I did, but it sure was not clear that it was submitted. Got a call later today that said my "invoices had dropped", and when I asked whether that meant I won appeal, she said "I think so". Still have no idea whether I have insurance, whether my medical expenses this year will go toward my deductible, whether between now and the 15 days it takes for them to turn my insurance back on (apparently, I'm responsible to call Anthem each day to see when it becomes active again - like I have that time) I'm covered for any medical emergencies? No one knows! I ended up rescheduling my diagnostic mammogram ordered because my oncology nurse felt a thickening in the breast I had a lumpectomy in. When I mentioned to Chard Snyder that this issue was not like having a minor hang nail, the associate responded with "Oh, I know, I had breast cancer too", like that solved the problem or showed empathy. They are nuts: they were a nightmare to sign up with, confusing and disjointed instructions, and now this, they can't even draft out of a checking account.

      Chard Snyder administers my ***** benefits for my former employer, ********** ***** *****. They have repeatedly cancelled my dental benefits, even though I pay in full and on time every month - I'm on auto-pay through their own system, for goodness sake, so even if I hadn't paid on time, that would be their fault. In addition to my ***** dental benefits, they also administer my ***** vision benefits. I'm not even sure what those benefits are, because, when I try to find it on Chard Snyder's website, the vision plan has been replaced by Hawaii Health Insurance, despite my never having lived in nor visited, nor done any business in Hawaii. They are quick to place the blame on my dental plan; the dental carrier, of course, tells me it's Chard Snyder's problem. I honestly don't know how that all plays out, but I do know that they can hardly blame the vision plan issue on my dental plan. In all the problems I've had with my ***** benefits (and they are many), Chard Snyder is the common denominator. I'd also like to point out that it's Chard Snyder that I'm sending my money to - not Delta Dental or anyone else. Chard Snyder is quick to reply here with the results of their "investigations", but why should the relationship devolve have to the point of the customer posting here in order to get any action at all? It seems that they aren't concerned until they are publicy called out for their inability to properly do their job. ********** ***** ***** - my former employer - is a fine organization. I hope they terminate their relationship with Chard Snyder before the stink rubs off on them.

      Dealing with them for COBRA has proven impossible. When I signed up for cobra coverage an invoice was not generated so payments couldn't have been applied. But surprisingly it is no one's fault Spoken with three people and received 3 different answers. My requested phone call from the manager of the call center hasn't been returned. Just sitting here with no coverage for myself with procedure scheduled this week.

      So after not calling for 2 days the manager of the call center called me minutes after they responded to the review. Looks like if you want a response file a review here- they will avoid you otherwise.By that point there was nothing she could do to help because someone who was competent had to take care of the issue yesterday. Unfortunately it is too late to have been any use. Had ******** called 2 days ago when I told them I expected a call from her it she may have been useful. Too little too late now.Everyone I spoke with at chard Snyder was incompetent. Unfortunately saying "I am sorry" repeatedly doesn't fix the issue. Apology not accepted. Learn from my mistake. Don't call the company - file a complaint here. What a terrible company.

      I couldn't be more frustrated with Chard Snyder. Like all the other posters, I have had an unreasonably difficult time trying to receive my claims and get in touch with the people on the customer service line who can actually help me. Every time I call, the representative on the phone can't help me, they can't specifically indicate what's needed to process my claim in my particular circumstance and always indicate that the issue needs to be escalated to a supervisor. The problem is that the supervisor doesn't call back in a timely manner. How am I supposed to provide the documentation that's needed when I can't easily get someone on the phone to confirm that I'm sending the right documentation? I've provided so much documentation and still haven't received a reimbursement. I'm 100% convinced that this company has a success metric associated with denying claims. I will be lobbying my HR dept to not use Chard Snyder as our benefits administrator going forward. It's difficult for me to understand how this company has a good BBB rating after reading all of these complaints that are consistent.

      This company is horrible, I wish I could give 0 stars!!! I will never have an FSA account with them again and tell everyone I know to never have an account with them. You have to fight to use YOUR money. Every receipt I submit is never good enough, to the point that my doctor and dentist offices are wanting to charge me for all the extra work of more receipts and letters of medical necessity for every single thing my doctor orders! Guess my FSA won't cover those additional charges either. It takes more work to constantly manage this then it is worth, they should be paying me at this point. You have to do it because they shut down your card, then you have to pay out of pocket and again fight to get reimbursed. I have had other FSA accounts and NEVER had any issues till Chard Snyder!! FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!!! I have money I can't even use and will lose!

If you do not provide the requested documentation in a timely manner, your card may be temporarily turned off until valid substantiation is received. You will still have access to your funds but will need to file claims through the Chard Snyder mobile app or online account in order to receive reimbursement.       I understand the *** requires you to verify the charges but honestly when its at a doctors office or dentist office what else do you think I an buying, groceries??? AND when I submit receipts your company tells me they are not good enough. What else do you want, its what the doctors/dentist gives me!! It just really ***** to have an *** with you and it takes 5 + hours a week to fight to get my money!! In response to having access to my funds, if you shut off my card I DO NOT have access. Now I have to pay out of pocket or use a credit card and incur interest because Chard Snyder cant get their business model together. I have had other *** accounts and NEVER had this issue so it IS a Chard Snyder problem. Never again will I give you my money to manage and I hope my husbands employer will consider someone else to manage the *** accounts in the future.

      This company is highly unethical. I have paid over $6,000 in ***** premiums and my family's health insurance is still listed as not active. I have called multiple times over 3 days trying to get help. As it turns out, their request to activate my insurance was not sent until the day after I called on January 24, 2023. The coverage should have been active since December 1, 2022. ********* ********** has asked me to get the information as to when their request e-mail was sent out, including date, time, subject line, and e-mail address. This should be simple information to obtain but no one will provide it not will they offer me a call back nor will let me speak to a supervisor or give me the name of someone that can help. At this point, it is bordering on malpractice. Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company for ***** coverage.

      I have attempted to modify my insurance coverage and they have screwed it up twice, I can't seem to talk to anyone who knows what they are doing and the issue isn't resolved, I been on hold for 1/2 hour.

      wish I could choose zero. They sent a new card out 17 days ago, still have not received it. I live in a city, we do not have mail issues. They essentially are holding my FSA money hostage. I cannot purchase the medications I need. They make reimbursement nearly impossible and tedious. Its a terrible decision on behalf of my company to use them

      I have had an awful experience with this group. They have locked my account after each medical expense and make accessing your money nearly impossible. I send in medical receipts that are then denied under the guise of not meeting *** requirements. They claim that I need to send more money to them in order to unlock the funds that I have already paid through payroll deduction. I have never heard of a medical card company holding funds "hostage" and denying claims....they are not an insurance company but operate like they are.
