1 starI feel the company is only interested in the money aspect of the business and not fulfilling the needs of the customer with being honest regarding retrievability of documents. After receiving an exorbitant price for recovery I sent the external drive to another company, that is recommended by the maker of the external drive, only to find out that there was no possibility of retrieval. It then lend me to believe one of two things: *********** was going to use the line after it could not retrieve any data that I still owe them money as per policy; or that they retrieve some data and had it somewhere but did something else to the external drive that no one else could. I am sure the answer is someone in-between. Therefore, would I recommend this company...it is a hard NO.Review fromChelsea S

They recovered data for us that wouldn't spin up when connected to the *** The price for recovery was fair & the team was able to recover the data in a timely manner. 5 starsBack in approximately 2010, I had a hard drive that fell off my desk while it was on and it caused many internal issues. Needless to say, the drive was 'no-good' afterwards and I could not access the countless pictures that I had saved on it. I did some research at the time and shipped the drive out to a facility that specialized in data recovery. Unfortunately, they told me my drive was too damaged to repair. I had them send me the damaged drive and held it for another five years before I sent it to another facility to try again (I figured newer technology would be available to fix it). Once again, I was disappointment to be told that the drive was too damaged and couldn't be repaired. Again, I had the drive sent back to me and put in storage. Fast forward to November of 2022, I decided to research companies that specialize in data recovery and found good ratings on Secure Data Recovery Services. I called them up and spoke with *************************. I explained what happened to the drive and the previous efforts to recover the data and he said he was confident that they could repair the drive and recover the data. From that point on I worked directly with ***** to get the drive shipped out and was informed within a week that their engineers would be able to repair it. I was super excited but a bit skeptical. At this point, I felt I would believe it when I saw it. I knew the cost would be pricey but it would be worth it. Anytime, throughout the process, whenever I had questions, ***** was quick to respond to my emails and was always thorough and friendly; a perfect example of what customer service should be. It took a bit longer than I expected but I finally received the hard drive with my data on it and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for all your help *****!Review fromNick G

The story is that we had to transfer the computer image through the internet, and they didn't do anything with it for weeks and then said they couldn't download the image, which was false because our team was able to get it without problems. After almost two months of not getting anything done, we requested our money back, and they only agreed to return 30% of the fee. These guys don't know what they are doing. They asked for a fee at the front, and after paying for it, they didn't deliver. I highly recommend not using their services.

5 starsI had an 8TB Hard Drive fail that included over 20 years of images and other files. In other words - my digital legacy. ***************************** and the Secure ********* recovered everything, preserving the directory structure and naming conventions. I received the recovered data today and to paraphrase ************* 'Happiness is a hard drive'. If you experience data loss, I highly recommend them.Review fromMichael H
