      I used Progressive's online chat box to cancel my policy during non-business hours and it was ignored, which caused me to file a formal complaint with my local government board. The result of the investigation determined that it is not a "monitored" chat box and ruled in Progressive's favor. My message should have been recorded and received and responded to by Progressive upon the opening of the business day. What kind of insurance giant has a chat box available on their website and doesn't monitor it!!

      My wife and I were involved in a road rage incident where we sustained damage to our vehicle I called progressive insurance right away.... It's been about a month and I have heard nothing from my insurance company after I requested an agent sent to my home I do not recommend progressive insurance to anyone they are a joke the damage to our vehicle is over a thousand dollars.. I've even told progressive insurance that the police want a quote for prosecution and still nothing and I had to put one star for my over all experience I'd really prefer to leave zero stars they suck

      Progressive adjusters only look out for the company, by saving them as much money as possible on claims. Customer satisfaction is not priority,
      While driving ,I had road debris strike my vehicle causing the radiator to leak.
      Took it to a mechanic shop the bill came out to be $2,000 minus my $1,000 deductible. Insurance company only paid out $461 because the shops prices were higher than what the Company plays out,.so I ended up having to pay out of pocket the difference.

      I have had progressive for 10 years. I received an email with a survey asking why I was leaving, so I went to investigate. They cancelled my home owner's policy with no notification 36 days ago for "non-payment" even though my account is on auto-pay. The first rep I spoke with claims that I was on paperless and should have received emails. They refuse to reinstate my policy, so I request to be escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor refuses to escalate and says there's nothing he can do. He then claims that I'm not on paperless and that mail was sent. However, I get scans from USPS with all mail sent to my address and no mail was ever sent by Progressive.
      So essentially, they cancelled my home owner's policy with no notice or notification and refused to correct their error.

      I’ve been a customer with Progressive for 8 years. I tried adding a rider on my renters policy (I have multiple policies with Progressive mind you) for a watch. I was given misinformation over the course of 3 weeks — lots of back and forth and very poor communication. I wouldn’t recommend Progressive to anyone after this experience. If you need something done efficiently, they are not the company to go to.

      I checked my account and found my bill was more than doubled. I called their customer service and asked why and they mentioned I hadn't made a payment and I told them I had as I was looking at my statements as we were talking. The lady put me on hold and then hung up after 5 minutes. I called back and explained everything again to some guy with a thick Indian accent I couldn't understand and as I was explaining the issue he also hung up on me. So I called back a third time and I couldn't even get to the reason I was calling before the lady cut off the call and they still expect me to pay double as well as late fees or face getting my insurance cancelled.

      I had progressive for quite a while l had my car and mobile set up with the bundle. I contacted my progressive agent to get hooked up with them again and I was told that THEY made to no longer offer homeowner's for people with manufactured homes. I found that completely Disgusting. They are HORRIBLE!

      I contacted progressive and asked why was my insurance premium raised in January of 2025. The customer service person told me they could not see why it was raised almost double my amount but told me I could cancel that policy and start this new one. So I attempted to this but, the customer service person told me they were unable to do this. I had to send something to there review office. They requested the registrations, which I sent. Then it was February. I ended up paying 1100 and something for my insurance. I am waiting for my review to come back. They said they never received it. So I did the same thing again. Put in for a new policy and waited. Had to pay this amount of 1200 and something. No one could tell me why the payment had changed. I told them this is crazy. I called again. This time they were trying to charge me 2000 and something. Is said come on, this is outrageous. I canceled that insurance and reported them. Now I have someone calling me about this bill. I said I am reporting you guys. This is insane. Would not recommend do not go with this company. I pray that someone returns them the favor of the way they treated this customer. I would have stayed but my insurance went from 350 to 650 to 1000 to 1100 and no one could tell me why. Is also through with them.

      They ridiculously raised my rates by 300%. No explanation, no major changes in my status, they are crooks. I changed insurance providers and dropped my raids and got more coverage for $300 less per month. I would never trust this company with my insurance again and I was with them for years.

      Please choose a different insurance provider. They did not enter my cancellation and charged additional fees. Customer service is not customer service. This past due balance was disputed and removed from my credit. I decided to give them a second go around a year later and they charged this invalid balance without authorization to my card. Run
