I ordered DVD collections from the company, worth over $200 in October 2022. They then double-charged me for one of my orders, so I ordered a third set in compensation. They took months to arrive and then two of the sets were not compatible with North American DVD players.
I got the run-around and they finally said I could return the items. I did. And I waited. They said I didn't return the product. I had to find my postal receipts and prove to them I sent the items back.
Then last week I was finally told they would refund me. I gave then my new debit card number (the old one expired). They said they couldn't refund as it was not the original payment method. They again offered me a credit. I don't want a credit from this company. They are totally incompetent.Business Response

We are happy to give customer a full refund but we need the merchandise returned to us. Customer mailed it back to an old and incorrect address (zip 43230) that we no longer have access to. He was provided the correct address when he asked about returning for a refund but for some reason decided to send it to the wrong place. We have attached the email showing where we directed him to send it back in March.
He needs to either wait for the package to come back to him and reship to the correct address or contact Canada/US post and get them to reroute it to the correct place.

This company sent me a DVD that does not play. It's a poor home made copy that does not play. I have contacted the company many times with no response. ..
Now they have changed their return policy, which, after you read it will show they have no moral compass. They don't care if their DVD's dont' play. Here is a copy of the new policy right from their website.
EFFECTIVE April 2, 2023
1. To better serve our customers and streamline operations ALL orders are now final! No cancellations/replacements will be accepted for any reason.
2. Defective items will be replaced by a working copy of the same item. Customer will return defective items, at their expense, for review. If LTC is unable to provide working replacements we will issue a purchase price (no shipping cost) store credit refund (no cash/card refunds).

DVD I ordered in Dec 2022 was to have shipped immediately. After 3 weeks of waiting, I cancelled order and purchased through other channels instead. A week later I received an email from Loving the Classics telling me the order shipped. I wrote back and told them the order was cancelled, supplying our entire email thread of communications. They told me to ship the order back and once received they would credit my account. I did just that and after several inquiries they responded that the DVD was indeed in their possession. Now, 8 weeks later Loving the Classics still has not refunded my $21.43 and will not respond to any emails I send.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I do not trust this seller. In my many interactions with her when she did reply to me she had excuse after excuse and occasionally outright lies. So now PayPal isn't working? I WILL NOT accept a mailed check as I don't believe she will follow through. I will only accept her offer of an Amazon e-Card and would only sign off on closing this case once I have received the funds.

On 14 MAY 2022 I placed an order with Loving the Classics online for a movie on DVD called the Manhunter (1974). I paid for it with a credit card. The listed SKU is: MHTM1974. The order number is: ***********
Since that time I have received several emails stating they were running behind, they are only a two-person business, please forgive the delay. I have called and left a message, sent an email and sent several inquiries through their messaging system on their website. Recently none of the listed phone number seemed to be in working order. I sent a final email and message through their website today. There have been no responses to any of the inquiries.
While I am aware of the caveat emptor warning, I do not want to take legal action in Federal court under the diversity of citizenship clause and would prefer having the business either send me the DVD or refund me my money.
As I was writing this I received an email advising that the email address provided under customer service has failed permanently {see attached].Business Response

Ordered a dvd, order #**********, on August 20th, 2022 at 11.03.43 EST. Paid by credit card the same day. They charged it to my Visa credit card on August 24th for $18.48. Credit card last four numbers are ****. Never received DVD. E-mailed three times, no reply. In December, 2021, I ordered over $342 from this business --they sell public domain DVDs which the download off youtube. most arrived in January, however 9 were missing. I complained, and 4 of them arrived eventually. Five still have not arrived, and since I learned how to download them off youtube for free, I want a refund. I have USPS mailed them twice (once ion APril, and once on AUgust 15, 2022. They have not replied. As you can see from the May email they said they would be shipped in a few weeks. They never arrived. I basically want a refund of the $46 covering those 5 DVDs.Business Response

I Ordered 2 DVDs. Received the two DVDs on July 5, 2022. One DVD was correct. The other DVD was wrong.
I received the DVD "Heart of Darkness" instead of the DVD "The Fabulous Irishman."
I notified Loving the Classics of the problem by email on July 6 then again on July 26. I also sent a text message on July 29. I asked them to send the correct DVD.
