      Im sorry to inform you but this is the worse stay I have ever had. I have switched rooms 4 different times today. The first room I had had a horrible cat pee smell. I am allergic to cats. It also had ***** poops all over everything. Nothing was clean. The toilet wouldnt flush, the shower was either hot or cold, no in between. The second room, the air conditioner was sparking and making noise. Then ********* went out. 2 different times. Switched us again. To a room with cockroaches of every size. I had to leave all of my food behind because they were crawling on it within 5 minutes of being in there. Now I am in the 4th room, and the air barely works. Nothing is clean. There is hair everywhere where, cookies under the air conditioner. I paid for a week in advanced. Im supposed to be here until Saturday?! This is really not sanitary. And then for the lady working front desk to say we cant keep switching you rooms, someone else already booked the other rooms, and we have to rent them out like no. You need to bomb the place. Offer a major discount, or refund my money, so I can go back across the street, where it was clean. I seen reviews so thought it would be a better switch. It is not, I really want a refund.I have a dog, and there is also no where for her to use the bathroom due to the amount of dog p*** around the building. Also no p*** bags in the dog containers outside to clean up after our pets. There is literally dog c*** on the stairs going up to the second floor. We have to step over it. I have to leave everything in my car, which is very in helpful.. and not the kind of stay I paid for..

      This place is horrible and needs to be shut down! We were staying there June ***** 2025. We had 3 rooms. The rooms were bad! The floors were sticky, the showerhead barely had water coming out of it, one room had an ironing board but no cover, no fridge, no TV remote, and the cover to the top drawer under the TV was broken. Another room smelled so bad. The rooms were old. We will NEVER stay there again! Please shut them down! The only reason we stayed there is because it was close to **************** were we went to a concert!

      Checked in, received my key card. When I opened the room there was a huge black man in the 2nd bed that did not move when I opened the door. Went back to the front desk, she went **** to the next room & the floor was not swept, the bed was filthy & it smelled. Mind you someone was sleeping there car in front, the back was covered with/cigarettes butts about the property. I was able to get my refund which was good but I cant believe this is available. What is the state doing that would allow such a place to remain open when its so filthy. I thought I was getting a clean. Non-smoking room but I got the ************* told there is a lot of drug activity there, a huge lady had her door ajar reminded me of a bookie momma. What the h*** kind of place is this. There has been complaints about this *********** think the state would not allow it. This is so sad. Wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. Bottom line THINK AGAIN dont waste ya money. Youve been warned

      I have an open investigation with Red Roof Inn regarding my stay. I checked in to their specific location on ************* Building A, ******************* on May 29th. During my stay there, we had a ***** infestation. We notified management, who did absolutely nothing. I bought my own ***** motels to make the conditions liveable, since I had no other option regarding housing at that time. The price of the room was raised after our first few nights there without any explanation, and we were made to feel extremely unwelcome and unsafe. When I'd checked in, there'd been a $100 refundable deposit they required upon check in. At checkout, I was informed that we would not be receiving it back, and there was no explanation given, let alone compensation of any kind, for our treatment during our time there. I am waiting for Red Roof to do the right thing. This specific location should be condemned. The walls were so rotted the lock on the door literally fell off at one point. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone I cared about. They managed to charge me hundreds I now will have to fight to get back, and I do not appreciate it, or want to see it perpetuated.

      "Terrible Stay – Lack of Hot Water, Safety Concerns, and Poor Service"
      I stayed at the Red Roof Inn Meriden from May 23 to May 27, 2024, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I've stayed here multiple times in the past, but this time was a complete disaster. I’m incredibly disappointed in the lack of basic amenities, safety concerns, and terrible customer service.
      1. No Hot Water for Two Nights
      For the first two nights, there was no hot water in our room. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk, the suggested solution didn’t work. We were forced to go without hot showers for two nights, which is unacceptable.
      2. Malfunctioning Roku TV Service
      The Roku TV in our room was spotty and unreliable, making it impossible to enjoy any entertainment. This should be a basic service, and its failure made the stay even more frustrating.
      3. Safety Concerns and Loud Noises
      On the last night, we heard loud banging and screams coming from the room next door at 3:00 AM. I was seriously concerned for the safety of those involved and was ready to call 911. When we informed the front desk, their response was dismissive. No action was taken, and we were left feeling unsafe. We ultimately left the hotel at 3:30 AM, cutting our stay short.
      4. Disappointing Customer Service
      The manager, Mike, was unhelpful and dismissive when we tried to address the issues. He refused to issue any form of compensation or refund, which was frustrating considering the severity of the problems we faced. He even implied that I was lying about the issues, which is completely unacceptable.
      5. Priceline's Lack of Support
      I contacted Priceline for help, but they also refused to assist. They stated that since Red Roof Inn didn't want to issue a refund, there was nothing they could do. This lack of support from both the hotel and Priceline was deeply frustrating.

      No hot water to shower, no working fire alarm I have a witness also no working phone in room you go to office to make a complain the ceiling in bathroom is leaking from the room above and about 6months later and 3 falls it's still leaking had to keep buckets and sit sideways on my toilet just to use it and again august 3 2024 around 6:30 to 7:00 am I made another complaint that I fell again they just laughed and said don't fall didn't offer to clean it up or ask if I was hurt or need medical assistance I didn't have insurance to go to the hospital It still hurts. Room had roaches. Broken outlet covers. They kept turning the power off to my room all winter long I had no heat and temperature at or below 0 with the wind chill below 17 I had lived there over 800 days kicked me to the curb no proper eviction notice as I was considered a tenant they did call sheriff's and they kept my belongings and towed my vehicles lied on me they never told me to move my vehicles they asked me about selling them I want my belongings and didn't abandon for them to do with what they want Marquita t******

      Normally, their rates are $70 for a one person, non smoking room. This past weekend they said it was a "Mom's weekend" and was charging $300 for the same room. I didn't think this was right. There was no advertisement, they just change their prices whenever they feel like it. I don't feel that this is right!

      I stayed here a year ago and the rooms were acceptable. (Not great, but "OK")It's obvious that this establishment has been sold since then.I booked my room on line prior to arrival. My initial room smelled like an ashtray and I had to refuse it. My second room smelled better, but was not clean at all. I cleaned the office chair wait a towel prior to sitting in it and the towel was nasty. There was dirt and trash on the carpeting in the corners and the microwave had some unknown nastiness on the top of it. The TV remote didnt work properly and there was urine on the rim of the toilet. I stayed at a different motel on my return trip from ****. I will never stay here again.Or probably never at any Red Roof....

      Terrible customer service! They charged us twice $250 I paid in cash to extend my stay by 3 days. Then the day of checkout from the first reservation they called my friend in the room and said he needed to check out. He explained we already paid for 3 more days but they said they had no record of that so he paid it additionally with cash also. When I came back to the room he told me that he thought I paid for 3 more days of course I did. then they said it was never paid and my friend paid it again with cash. It’s been 4 days since I have addressed this issue and trying to get my money back and everyday they give me the excuse to come back tmrw the manager is in a meeting tmrw she will be in only the manager can look at the camera! I just want my money back. I can’t afford to just waste $250 because the person that took the cash misplaced it and doesn’t remember taking the money. All they have to do is check the camera and they want to be difficult and keep dragging this along. I just want my money back they should have kept their records straight and organized. Will NEVER STAY AT THIS MOTEL EVER AGAIN! The young lady at the front desk seems to find it funny that they keep giving me the run around. I am a single mom so $250 is a lot of money that I need to pay bills.

      Awful disgusting rooms .. black mold Shower did not drain Room smelled of smoke mildew mixture Would never recommend this hotel And it should be reported to health department
