5 starsI think this moving company is very reliable and trustworthy. They are professionals and very efficient. They moved me without any problems or mistakes. The moving team was very skilled, experienced and caring. They moved all my belongings with care and made sure everything was safely delivered. In the end, I got my things back without any damages and without any issues. They truly are remarkable! Long distance move was like a breeze. I think S & M Relo LLC moved me in the best way possible. I highly recommend them to all.Review fromTyrone H

5 starsThis was the first relocation and I was so tense. My sister advised me that I hire S & M Relo LLC to do the job. I called them and suddenly I felt like my stress went away. The customer service was extremely friendly and everything was explained to me very clearly. The crew of four men arrived exactly on time and they were all very efficient. They brought a lot of packing materials with them and put them to proper use. They carried large pieces of furniture with ease. They managed to deliver all my belongings safely.Review fromTheresa J

5 starsI believe that S & M Relo is very good and you should definitely hire them. They are the best for long distance moves. They are cheap and they will get the job done within the given time. My husband and I hired them for our move and they were great. The packing was done right, the carrying and moving was done professionally and they moved everything without any damages. It was just great! One more thing I would like to add is that we did not have trouble with the bill. We paid exactly what we were quoted in the beginning!Review fromFranklin W

5 starsI am really proud of S & M Relo LLC. I am very proud to say that they are the most efficient and professional moving company out there. They are very fairly priced and they give excellent service. My husband and I hired them a few weeks ago and we were absolutely stress free and damaged free. The moving team did a superb job with the packing and moving. Not a single item was damaged or dented. It was actually the best move of our lives. We highly recommend them to all!Review fromKaren B

1 starS & M Relo LLC, (also known as Carefree Movers) are NOT to be used to move your property under ANY circumstances. We were brokered out to Carefree Movers by Alliance Van Lines, (even though Alliance Van Lines told us we would not be brokered out to another company). Alliance Van Lines are also Not to be used to move your property under ANY circumstances. Our belongings were left in an undisclosed AZ warehouse. Our items did not arrive until two months after our belongings were picked up, (even though our contract stated our belongings would arrive within 30 business days). S & M Relo LLC tried to increase our initial contracted price by $3,000, claiming we had additional cubic feet beyond what was in our contract. We had to assemble our own furniture. They would not move our piano upstairs without adding an exorbitant fee. Some of our property was missing and damaged.Review fromSvetlena G

1 starI don't even know what to tell you! It's so much from the beginning starting with ****************** - White ***** (zero stars for them also!) to the final delivery... Only the feeling of very unprofessional experience left. The company that they use for claims - Moving claims is also terrible. You lose your items and nothing you can do about it. Do not use them!!! You will have the same experience as everyone else on the comments below. They are scammers as well as the moving broker and the insurance company for their claims.Review fromJudy J

1 starWas contracted by Relocation Nation. After spending a week trying to get a window for pickup, I was given a date and time. Movers arrived on time, inexplicably surprised they had to go upstairs to pick up my furniture, even though that had been indicated on the initial contract. So what I was quoted as my cost for the move suddenly went up because stairs. The movers, none of whom spoke English, next spent FOUR HOURS doing nothing while trying to reach someone on the phone to find out if they could add one very small item that was not on the initial inventory. Four hours later, they began loading. I was told that when movers arrived, they would be able to give me an ETA for arrival in my new city. Nope. They had no idea, they were just there to load. (This was the fault of Relocation Nation, who lie to the customers.) Once I got someone on the phone, I was told that my furniture would not leave my city for at least a week. So my entire trip had to be rescheduled. I left a week later, spent four days on the road and called again once I arrived. The truck with still in it's origin city. No idea when it would leave. Fortunately, it left soon after and arrived a week later. A piece of furniture and a box were not included - they must have been left somewhere else (they said) and they sure would look into it. They also broke the leg on a valuable piece of furniture that had sentimental value as it belonged to a deceased relative. But they TAPED IT UP. Now trying to file a claim for the missing items and the broken furniture, but they have blocked my phone number and emails are returned as undeliverable. When they delivered my furniture, they were once again FLUMMOXED that there were stairs - another few hundred bucks, even though that information was on the original contract. I ended up paying another $1K on top of my original quote. This is a complete scam and customers are outright lied to.Review fromJackson P

1 starWe hired them to move us from the midwest to the Pacific northwest. We were quoted one number, which doubled when they came to pick up our things. We were pressured by the broker (and had already given a substantial downpayment) to modify the insurance on the move to accommodate the supposedly bigger load. When our things finally arrived, several things were broken: the main support for the couch, a leg of a dining chair, and a lamp, among some smaller items in boxes. We would have been okay with that, but we were missing 5 items: 2 drawers from a 3-drawer desk, a tower of drawers, and two other boxes. We immediately contacted the office, who asked us to submit an email with a description of the items and they would forward them to the warehouse. We did that and included pictures of the tower and the missing desk drawers. We never heard back. In the first four months, we called 4-5 times a week but no one answered or returned our calls (we left messages). We were told that the warehouse would be cleaned out during the summer and we would be notified if/when our things were found, but we never heard back. Besides the drawers and the tower of drawers, we are missing two boxes of heirlooms, including childhood mementos, two antique quilts, and several quilts that were in process. While we have given up hope of ever having our things returned to us, we want to warn anyone who considers hiring this company. They will low-ball you and then pressure you to sign away the "replacement value" of lost or broken items, they will not reimburse without proof of the condition of the things before they were moved, and they will not return your calls or emails asking for information or assistance. If by some miracle our things are found, I would love to have them back, but there is very little hope or chance of that happening, sadly.Review fromRahul V

1 starThey moved my items from ******, ** to ****, **.They told ** a window btw 2 to 5 pm on July 30th for pick up at our apartment and finally came at 8:40 pm. Then I had to be on call with their agent for an hour since the contract had a lot of nonsense including I have to waive insurance, whereas I bought full value insurance from ***** International. As expected S&M Relo guy demanded me to pay extra for more space than the broker Alliance *** Lines quoted. Rate went from 3750$ to 5050$ .We had everything packed well in boxes and three boxes were marked fragile. They said this was the easiest pick up they had in a long time considering they didn't have to sweat much. They finished loading by 11:50 pm without any dissembling of the furniture. Two boxes were dropped in front of us and one of them was an Air Fryer. I didn't get any inventory list then and finally customer service sent me a copy by email on Tuesday.Waited a week to know that the items unloaded to a warehouse have been loaded to the truck on the way to ****.The delivery truck came on time on August 09 evening to our apartment in ****, **. The driver was hesitant to give me the bill of lading document!A metallic bed frame which I gave the pick up guys as dissembled and rubber banded by pieces were missing 80% at delivery. How can they miss eight of 6.6 feet metal rails ? I got only the end pieces . One armoire was broken and sides bent. Legs of couch were cracked and chipped. ******* had one piece broken and side cracked. One hand vacuum was stolen. One wheel of end table was broken. The study table top was fully scratched on the side. The boxes marked fragile was crushed on top and some items were broken. Two boxes were pierced and the bottles in it were leaking when delivered. The total damage was >1000$ and claim is in process . If I rented a Penske truck and hired loading and unloading guys I could have saved 3000$ easily. Advice to all, either go for uPack or rent a truck. You'll be happy.
