      I'm concerned with their current marketing campaign that I experienced. My (adult) daughter and I went to this store on the east side of *******, ** today. She just started new employment so was looking for gift ideas for next week when she can start her Christmas shopping. We walked around the store and she was very excited to see that soaps were on sale through the season, and the sign said the season sale ends on 12/25. She didn't have money to purchase today but added it to her list of places to go for when she gets her check so that she can do a large amount of her shopping here. On our way out -one of the sales agents told us that after today those prices would go back to regular prices until after the 1st of the year. We both mentioned the signs everywhere and the fact that it said that it was a sale and that it would go through 12/25. The sales agent continued to tell us that that's The dates of the "season" but isn't related to the dates of the sale. We found that extremely misleading and more than that **concerning** because we no longer know how we can trust this company and their sales if that's how they're going to advertise. How can I make sense of their sale advertisements when they're full of misleading information? It shouldn't be this confusing.

      The customer service I experienced today was the absolute worst! Representative felt it was ok for her to address me as sweetie.. the lack of customer service is definitely not up to par for such a big company.

      I just purchased the minimum amount of the $2.95 soaps so that I was able to receive $1.99 shipping. After the order was placed and confirmed, I received an email that they CANCELLED 3 of the soaps AND charged me full shipping!! I havent ordered from them in years ** of issues like this. NEVER again. B&BW has lost my ***************** this time.

      On November 7, 2022, I noticed that Bath and body works was having an online sale where you would receive a free gift with ANY PURCHASE. I decided to place an order and wanted to have my items picked up in store for free shipping. However, they ALSO CHARGE a standard shipping fee to receive your free gift with purchase items. It seems misleading when really, you're not getting the items for free if you're still paying a $10.99 FEE to have them shipped to your house. It just defeats the purpose for being able to pick up your items in store. I honestly think that if they are going to run this promotion, make it fair so that customers have the ability to pick up their free gift in store along with their online purchase to avoid having to pay the extra fee. They should offer the promotion where limited quantities are available on a first come first serve basis to avoid the hassle of being charged another shipping fee. Otherwise, I think its just not worth the sale. This is the second time this has happened, and the customer service representatives get upset and don't want to honor free shipping as an appeasement for the confusion.

      I placed an order on October 9. October 23, I realized my order has not been delivered as yet. I checked their website, it shows my order is still in transit to my address. Checked the carriers website, lasership, it says my order was damaged and will be returned by October 19,2022. I checked my email to verify whether or not I received an email stating my package was being returned and did When I contacted customer service I spoke to ******, who said, my package was returned October 23, and email was sent out stating I was refunded for my returned package. I explained to ****** that I didnt receive any email from *********** stating my package was being returned nor refunded to my account. He swore to me an email was sent out, and I reiterated to him it was not. He wanted me to place a new order for the items I bought and I advised him I will not be placing any new orders until I have something in writing stating my package was returned, received and being refunded to me. He then advise me that if I did not receive an email by 9am to call back and Ill get my entire order processed again free of charge. Today, October 24 at 9 am. I contacted customer service and advised them of the prior discussion and it was explained to me that ****** did note his promise and my concerns. The customer service rep then transferred me to a tier 2 supervisor, *****. ***** was rude, sarcastic and snappy. Multiple times she cut me off mid explanation. She told me she will not honor ******* promise and I needed to place another order for my items though I didnt receive an email in writing. I didnt appreciate feeling belittle and disrespected. When I called I did explain Im not calling to get anything for free and having ***** tell me Im calling for free things I didnt appreciate. I didnt call for free; I called because the lack of professionalism and confusion by a business I always supported.Bath and body works you guys need to do better!

      I placed an order on Bath & Body Works website this morning, then found the same item for a much better price on Amazon, to be *****. So, literally, a few minutes after I had placed this order I reached out to ************* customer service, via online chat through their website, gave them my order # and requested it be canceled. After a moment the *** typed back to me it was not possible to cancel the order; that I had to wait for it to arrive to my home and then I could send it back for a refund. Ok, so my first issue with this is the most obvious...why can an order not be canceled?? And my next issue is...this has to be a key fact **************** would be aware of if this is actually true so then why take my order # and shipping info for verification if you can't cancel it?? Not to mention, after the agent informed me of this, I questioned, 'why' and got a generic generated answer right before I was quickly disconnected from the chat. It was the equivalent of being hung up on had I been on the phone instead of an online chat! Honestly, I don't know that I've ever encountered a company that doesn't allow for cancellation if the order hasn't been shipped yet. And to top it all off, once I receive the order and go through the annoyance of re-boxing it and sending it right back to ************ they will refund me minus the shipping. Yeah. They don't refund you for that. And to think all of this could've been easily avoided had they simply canceled my order.

      Most of my complaint is regarding the fulfillment center which packages and ships orders for my ***************.For an April 9, 2022 order, I received my wallflowers thrown into a box with nothing other than one small piece of bubble wrap thrown ON TOP. Two wallflowers leaked out into the box and I had to order replacements.Currently, on a 9/26/2022 order, I received wallflowers identically: thrown into a box with a small piece of bubble wrap tossed in. This time, a wallflower broke, spilled and I was cut as a result!On another note: This same September order was originally supposed to be a pick up. The order was picked up by someone else! Now, I live alone and my phone and ID had been (as it always is) so, according to the customer service agent I reported this to, it was likely a store error. She felt it was an error made by a store employee. Her comment? "Mistakes happen!" No real apology and it was like pulling teeth to get her to make this right.It never used to be this way!Both times I had received minimally packaged items with spills and broken glass, I asked to have the issue reported. I can only feel that, since there was an identical incident to the first one 5 months later, not enough was done to remedy this unacceptable packaging.I am a long time customer who has received online orders two or three times a year. NO MORE!If I return as a customer at all, it will be IN PERSON.DO BETTER!

      The second call of scamming me and racism *************************** I called 9/4/2022 the day after visiting your store at ************* ******************************************************************************** I do not want to repeat everything I said but I spoke to a gentleman on the phone because after coming there for years, I am 57 years old. I have never thought of any racist activity. I stood in line with 3 black woman who I chatted with and gave a coupon I didn't need to one of them. The cashier also black I chatted with her as well. I spent 134 dollars, the other customer spent 60, the other 24, and the other for the free gift only. While the cashier rang each of them up she made sure to lift a big 10 buck off coupon high up and put in their bag explaining that they have a 10 buck coupon. I was inches away from them. She rang me up no coupon and I thought no way is she purposely doing this. I said nothing until I looked in my bag when I got home, however I had 1 coupon **** off item of same amount or less and 20 PERCENT OFF THE ****** AFTER HER STRANGE ATTITUDE I SAID, YOU DID TAKE THE 20 PERCENT OFF RIGHT AND SHE SAID WITH HESITATION YES. I HAVE NEVER IN MY YEARS CHECKED MY BILL BUT THIA TIME I DID AND NO SHE DIDNT TAKE NOTHING OFF. EVEN WHEN I WAS CHECKING OUT WHERE I HAVE THE OPTION OF MY Receipt BEING EMAILED OR PRINTED SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME THAT OPTION. SHE PRINTED IT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SALE AND STUFFED IT IM MY BAG. I ALREADY CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THIS LIKE I SAID AND THEY BROUGHT UP THE RECEIPT AND SAID I WAS SCAMNED 45 DOLLARS AND THEY WOULD BE EMAILING THAT AND ALSO A COUPON AND ITS OBVIOUS YOU DONT TAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS SERIOUSLY AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CROOKED AS YOUR EMPLOYEES. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS CASHIER SCAMMER BEFORE BUT I CAN TELL YOU WHAT. SHE WAS ACTUALLY TALKING TO ME LIKE I SAID AND SHOWING ME HER PILE OF STUFF SHE WAS GOING TO SUPOSEDLY PURCHASE WHILE SHES SUPOSED TO BE HELPING OTHERS AND OBVIOUSLY USED MY 20 PERCENT TO STEAL.       They discontinue the "great" mens body wash fragrances and then I see the "discontinued" fragrances selling for 4 times the amount on **** and Amazon. This is highway robbery!!! Is there a scandal going on?? For example.......sold for $10.95 when it was in stock. Now sells for $40 or more after it's discontinued through other avenues!! Please someone check into this!!!

      So I have multiple complaints about BBWs the first is a placed order from a few months ago during the semi-annual sale and I received my order in the mail and a bunch of the nozzles were broken on them or just didn't spray very well the scents that they have this year have absolutely no staying power. I called customer service to complain about the damaged items in the order and all she did was resend me those same items and the new ones still have the same problems with the nozzles they just don't spray. My next problem was in order I placed and picked up at the store I went to pick it up I got it home I realized two of the bottles were leaking I called them I told them they said oh well they weren't leaking when they were here but you could clearly see that some of the liquid was missing out of the top. My third problem is I placed an order yesterday a big order like an $80 order then today they offer the buy three get three free promotion and I can't get the difference back or any free ones. I believe the store has really gone downhill
