      I purchased several candles as gifts this Christmas at full price, and a few of them I ended up no longer needing because some of my family was unable to make it to my home. I did not want the scents for myself, so I went to my local B&BW in Merced, CA on 1/3/23 and was able to do an even exchange for the face value of the candles as it rung up in the system. Each candle was $26.50, so I exchanged them for candles priced the same, no receipt needed. I told the lady at the register that we were in a rush, but I’d return tomorrow to exchange 2 more because I had left them in the trunk of my car and she said that was fine. The very next day, 1/4/23, I sent my husband back to B&BW to return the 2 candles, and the manager told him that without a receipt, he would only be able to get store credit for the price of the candle on that day, which all of a sudden happened to be 50% off. According to her, people buy a bunch of candles on sale and then try to return the for full priced candles, so they could no longer honor the exchange. I completely understand this policy and wouldn’t have any issues with it, had I not have just been able to do it the day before with no problems. Not to mention, the staff and the manager were rude. I sat on the other end of the phone line listening to her talk to my husband in a degrading way and I don’t appreciate it. I urge B&BW to train their staff better so that everyone is on the same page and gives out the same/accurate information to its customers. We wasted time and gas to drive to that store only to be told no and have to go back home with the same candles we showed up with. Not to mention, I’m now stuck with 2 Christmas candles I cannot give away during the year and cannot burn myself because I can’t handle the scent. I also refuse to only receive 1/2 the price of a candle that was purchased at full price just because you decided to have your inventory go on sale the day after Christmas. Overall, I am extremely disappointed.

      I ordered 36 candles (2 different orders) on Dec. 2, 2022, on the big "Candle Day" that they have each year. I was looking forward to getting the candles so my son could pass out Christmas gifts to his teachers at school, but school was out on the 16th of Dec and the full order didn't even get delivered until yesterday, four days after Christmas. So now I am stuck with Christmas candle gifts that I cant give away because Christmas is over. My son was very disappointed that he couldn't pass out Xmas gifts to his teachers. This was the first year that he hasn't given them a gift. Not to mention that I haven't even received the 2nd order of 18 candles that I placed on the same day to pass out to gifts for my family. Christmas is over and I still have not received my 2nd order. Smh. I got an email a few days ago telling me that most of the candles in my 2nd order were out of stock. How crazy is that? Not only are they a month late but the ones that I have been wanting on are OUT OF STOCK. Smh. It's ridiculous that they cant get our orders delivered in time. They have that sale every year. You would think that it would have a better system in place. It's almost a month later and I have not received the 2nd order yet. Couldn't even enjoy them for the holidays and I go back to work tomorrow. What a mess!! They should have just refunded me my money back for alllllll of the inconvenience that I have been put thru. It doesn't make sense. Do better please!! Thank you.

      I recently went to bath and body and purchase 6 bottles of bath product because the signs in the store read buy 3 get 3 free. At the register it was a different story and I was being overcharged… the sales clerk was mystified by my math skills and she could not satisfactorily explain my charges… manager the same thing. I returned all 6 bottles… very frustrating. It is false advertising

      Placed to orders on line 2 days apart , both should have been delivered within 14 days , 4 weeks later and 4 calls later with customer service , I still don’t have my orders , I was lied to by 3 times by customer service agents and hung up on by the fourth. With no answers!!! Waiting for refunds on my orders . I believe they need to educate their customer service agents on how to properly speak to customers and how to give accurate information but just read pre printed lines from books, would recommend never shopping with them again !!!

      I placed an order on 11/20/22. I received an email with my order number. A couple days later I check the status to see if the order was shipped. I get an error message. I call customer service and they tell me my order doesn't exist because it was a ghost order. I paid for the order using my e-gift card. I have called for 3 week trying to get a refund and keep getting the same response give it 24 to 48 hours and you should receive a new e- gift in email. Well it's 12/15/22 and I still haven't received a refund. I keep getting same response I've talked to 3 different supervisor. This will be last time shopping at Bath and body works.

      Not 100% satisfaction policy any longer under new return policy. I purchased online Nov. 22nd, went Dec 12 to exchange one spray scent for another spray scent and told I had to pay the difference in price because it was no longer on a promotion. I paid $6.95 when it was buy 3 get 2 free and now it’s $17.50 each which in order to exchange for another scent I was going to have to pay $10.55 to exchange. How is that 100% satisfaction. THE POLICY STATES ON B&B WEBSITE:
      As an alternative to a refund, customers are welcome to exchange product for a replacement that is of the same type and the same ticket price as the product being returned (for example, exchanging a three-wick candle for a different three-wick candle with the same ticket price). To make sure that we handle every return or exchange with reasonable fairness, we will not allow the return or exchange of product showing excessive wear and tear (for example, if the product looks significantly used) or product with a label that has been intentionally defaced. Whether a product shows excessive wear or tear or is returned in new, gently used or defective condition (or whether a return otherwise complies with the Return Policy) will be determined by Bath & Body Works and White Barn in their sole discretion. All returns, exchanges and price adjustments must be made in the country of original purchase. Policies may vary by store locale. The policy posted in the store of return governs. Bath & Body Works and White Barn reserve the right to modify or withdraw the Return Policy and the 100% satisfaction guarantee at any time with or without notice.*

      I planned to go to Bath and Body Works store to take advantage of the annual candle sale. I then tested positive for COVID so then I could not go to the store. I then placed my order on line through the app. I began my order on Friday night (12/2/22). I was so tired and weak I decided to continue my order on Saturday morning (12/3/22). This was a long process because some of the items had sold out from Friday to Saturday. I had 18 candles in my cart when I proceeded to the checkout. I placed all my credit card information & completed my transaction. Today (12/5/22) I noticed that the money was not taken out of my account. I checked the app to see the status of my order to find there is none. I then called their customer service to be told that with the volume of traffic they had during the sale that they experienced many problem with their online orders. Knowing they experienced these issues, they still refuse to do anything but place another order for me CHARGING ME FULL PRICE! No thank you! Im done with Bath and Body Works!

      I placed an order and used 2 free rewards after a couple days I received an email stating some of my items were cancelled due to no longer in stock. I waited a few days to check my account and saw they had not returned my free rewards. I called **************** to ask them to return the rewards. The Agent I spoke with had an accent and was very difficult to understand but I was able to explain to her what I am requesting so she said she would work on it so 30 minutes later she comes back to me and the line goes dead. I waited for her to return my call and she never did so I had to call back and get another Agent that seemed unsure on what to do so I take it he was new to the job but remarkably he said in 3-7 days the rewards should show in my account. I then called back to make a complaint and asked to speak with a Supervisor and waited for 30 minutes only for the Agent to say there is none available but she would send them a message so they can pull the call and coach the Agent. Im so disappointed with their **************** team it seems the Agents are poorly trained and have no knowledge of their customer service process and the Supervisors are simple and avoid speaking with a customer by all means. I dont have to accept poor customer service. Im done with them. I plan to start supporting their competition Yankee Candle their woodwick candles have a stronger scent and last longer than their 3 *****!!

      Do not order online from these people, their tracking, website and availability are some of the worst on the internet. Support is just as bad.

      I was ordering online using a Promo Code MERRYDEALS. When I placed the order I never given the opportunity to add the Promo Code. I have tried to get a discount and they refused. This is not the first time that they have used this tactic.
