If I can give this travel center of America, zero stars I would and the reason for it is the customer service is bare, minimum and borderline disrespectful. Stephanie the manager looks at you with the disdain like you’re bothering her. The bathrooms are filthy, horrible and smelly. The toilet seats are full of feces. When I went to make a payment with EBT I was sent to the back at the fuel desk, and Stephanie just stared at me for seven minutes before even acknowledging me, she was on her phone call the entire time to make matters worse their food is expired. The front desk lady was nice enough to point it out to me, and when I went to get a different item, every single item in the front was expired, they are selling, expired items and from a health standpoint, that is unacceptable , the staff here are very unprofessional unwelcoming, and it makes me as a driver not ever want to come to another travel center of America again I hope that one of the owners can take a look at this and make any type of communication with their employees and their managers and rectify this issue This is unacceptable. You cannot run a business like this unhygienic unhealthy, dirty bathrooms to unprofessional unwelcoming employees and managers to having expired food items and selling the public items that can potentially harm them is the least professional thing I have seen in a long time.TravelCenters Of America

The TA in Slidell, LA parking attendant needs more training. I stopped at this TA and shut down for the night. I paid for reserved parking around 12 noon. As i laid in my bed around 4 p.m. a black man parking attendant came knocking on my door real hard saying that i need to go pay for my parking. I told him that I already paid and he stated are you sure what is your truck number? I told him my truck number and we both looked at his sheet and my truck number was listed. I also showed him proof / receipt that was sent to my email. He claim that they had me listed in a different truck but I have proof that i am driving a white international truck and that's stated on my receipt. He needs to be disciplined the way he was banging on my door for no reason. That was so embarrassing and uncalled for. Please, send this review to the TA main office because something needs to be done about his kind of treatment.TravelCenters Of America

I would not recommend this business to anyone
.The TA in Corning. CA. called me a homeless person who needed to leave the building..I was told also that only Truckers were welcome there..Mind you, i had only stopped there to try to charge my phone before I made the 2 hr. Drive home.TravelCenters Of America

RESTAURANTS! Ya'll serve Truckers of America and can't even keep good food for us! Do better! We like to eat healthy too and your options leave us with nothing. Lately the quality of your food options and service have been lacking to say the least. We long haul all over the country and we've found it to be the same at almost all of your establishments.

TravelCenters of America headquarters, I sincerely hope this review reaches the highest of high & you take the time to recognize this superstar leader!
Your General Manager Scott (based out of Ohio) exemplifies outstanding customer service like a true professional.
While I've spent over a decade in the Trucking industry, Scott's dedication to take care of his customers is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
After repeated attempts to work with a TravelCenter (known to notoriously make up their own rules) I reached out to headquarters. I had the pleasure of working with Scott who respectfully acknowledged my concern & quickly rectified the issue. Scott topped it off by providing me with his personal phone number & invited me reach out should I have any further issues.
When the service center neglected to honor the policies again, Scott did not hesitate to take matters into his own hands. (Keep in mind, the time zone difference had Scott working at 11pm!) He kept me on the phone while he resolved the issue & absolutely exceeded my expectations.
His professionalism & commitment to get things done in a timely & efficient manner warranted at the least… this note to say MAHALO. (Thank you, Hawaii style.)
I am forever grateful & look forward to continuing to work with TravelCenters of America. I hope you take the time to recognize his excellence!

I've already written a scathing review about the Denton, TX TA truckstop on their website 2 years ago. It was to replace the scathing review taken down 4 years ago. Now here I am again, forced to park here at 2pm on a Thurs because of lack of parking at Loves. 1st this place didn't stop fleecing the drivers with paid parking, it doubled down and raised its rates. $23 is insane. 2nd is the obvious holes, dents, and extremely bad black top. Prepare to lose everything off your dash. 3rd is the flat out theft of the showers gained from fueling here. The fuel island takes your card and makes you believe it accepted it. 5 days later I'm forced to park here at Denton facility and walk in to this dump at 5am expecting to have no wait for a shower. Surprise, they've deleted my shower I earned 5 days ago. People I've been here 4 different times. Every time I am so disgusted with this facility I write yet another scathing review. I don't hate these people. I think they have picked a good location for a truckstop. It's THEM! They consistently make the truckers who stop here angry. The prices are outrageous. The facility is ugly. The parking is a joke. The only good thing I can say is they are at least consistent. 4 times here. Each and every time I write a bad review. I don't write reviews! I don't like being negative. But, I have a strong respect for my fellow truck drivers and hope they just bypass this big freaking disappointment. OK, I'm going to say 1 good thing. Last 3 times here I was approached by numerous homeless or pan handling people begging for change. It gets annoying. So far....... no homeless people approached my truck. Might be the 122 degree thermometer reading on my dash, but honestly I'm gasping for anything I can say that's even remotely positive. Buyer beware. Go elsewhere. July 5 @5pm shop said they couldn't get my truck in untill next morning said there were 2 people ahead of me said I would be first at 6am at 6 am
They had told another driver the same. but the kicker the 1st guy was told it would be 3/4hours before they get started on him and told me the 2nd customer now 5/6 hours .this place needs new manager to get the job done. It's just a flat tire.24 hours really???TravelCenters Of America

On November 18, 2022, My 1988 Fleetwood Prowler travel trailer with $6000 of upgrades and 2006 F-150 truck full of tools got removed from your lot by Caster Tow. I had parked at your truck stop, due to lack of fuel. All items are registered to me and insurance and taxes paid. I confronted all parties, store and shop manager, Caster Tow, and Oak Grove Police Department, with not even a bit of concern. Nobody has any record of it being towed. Excuse me, Caster Tow did have record of them towing it and were very hesitant about offering any more info. Besides the fact they scrapped everything. They left me and my dog with no place to live and no way to make any money. Not breaking the law? Thou shall not steal.TravelCenters Of America
