    I cannot recommend Millennium Automotive Protection (iA ************************* Although they advertise and include a substantial amount of coverage, in my experience they typically authorize used (salvage yard) parts as replacement rather than new or remanufactured parts. I was told that I needed to take my 2017 **** Escape to a **** service facility for diagnosis of my transmission problem (which I did), but when Millennium authorized only a used transmission to be installed, the **** dealership refused to install the sub-standard part. Consequently, since the dealership would not install the used transmission, I had to pay over $180 diagnostic cost which Millennium refused to pay. I visited with my mechanic (he would not install a used transmission either) - he told me that he believed no really reputable mechanic likely would not either. Although I paid well in excel of $3,000 for the platinum coverage by Millennial Automotive Protection (IA ************************ I found that I could only have a reasonable replacement transmission installed by a reputable mechanic if I shelled out an additional $1,000 plus for an upgraded replacement part. I spent quite some time with a supervisor in the companys claims department, and found him to be very non-caring, unbending and in general, very customer un-friendly. Once you pay for the product, they could give a darn. I strongly recommend that if that is the only option offered to you, you should forget it and independently shop for decent coverage from a reputable company.
