I received a notice for a compression device from 2/13/2020. I was never billed for this before now. The amount in question is $2995. Dr's Office is not familiar with this at all.
The notice says that they will repot this to Credit bureaus
I don't know what to do.

I've received my letter that I owe 5,995.00 for date of service. That's convent number that people owe Philcare Medical Supplies years later.

If I could give a zero I would!!
Received a collection letter dated 3/03/2023 from assured collections telling me I owed 212.55 for a brace that my doctor gave to me in his office. This is from 2018, They charged my insurance company $2370.84 for the brace and my insurance allowed 1062.75, but paid 850.20 which left the balance of 212.55 for me to pay. Philcare was the place that they are collecting for. First of all I NEVER got a bill from Philcare medical. Secondly, I went on Amazon and typed in the product/services that assured collections provided on their collection letter to me, and the same exact brace that I was given came up and the cost was 89.00. Are you kidding me,???!!! So now they are telling me I owed 212.55 for a brace that they charged 26 times more than it's price on Amazon?! Ummmmm NO I'm not paying this bill....when I called this Alexis girl was ready to set up a payment arrangement for this, but when said I'm calling philcare she told me that I have 30 days or it goes on my credit report. The # for Philcare medical supplies is *********** on their web site but it's disconnected, I told Alexis this and she said oh I have the number" and gave me the # of *********** and when I called it rang 7 times before I got an answering machine to leave my " name and reference # so they could pull my records," I left a message about a week ago and still have not received a call back. I just called again, only to get the voice mail box for Isaiah from national healthcare, hmmm that's not philcare medical. Something fishy is going on here and it needs to be looked into. I have read several things on this business owner locking the doors and leaving, then came back to start a new business. Please look into what is going on. Many people are getting these letters and are just as confused as I am, plus people on limited incomes can't pay these outrageous amounts. There is a scam going on here!!!

If there is signed/dated paperwork, by the debtor, accepting the financial responsibility of a product they received how could there be a scam.  Sorry, but leaving a nasty review doesn't stop the world of collections on people that are upset because they have a bill they didn't pay from a few years ago.  National Healthcare Partners is Philcare Medical Supplies' parent company who owns several other companies as well.  Also, working in the same building as one of your clients doesn't make it a scam either.

If there is signed/dated paperwork, by the debtor, accepting the financial responsibility of a product they received, that would surely validate they did business with them.

I received a collections notice from Assured Financial regarding equipment from Philcare Medical Supplies. The equipment was sent back and never used. Philcare charged Medicare for the equipment for 13 months, which is the maximum time they can. This is fraud and I notified Medicare about it. Please check your Medicare statement!!

I'd give them 0 stars if possible. Just got a letter from them claiming I owe $5,995 from a service on 11/13/19. No clue what they are talking about. I pay all my medical bills, even if I have to make payments. I have Medicare, and they would have paid something, if I had received any service or supply from them, but nothing. I think this is a huge scam between Assured Collections, LLC and Philcare Medical. I don't even live in their states.

My wife received a collection bill in the amount of $5995.00 for Philcare Medical Supplies which is totally fraudulent as I am retired from the military and all of our medical needs care covered through either Tricare or Medicare.

I was pregnant in 2020 and delivered my baby in July 2020. My baby is 2.5 years old now and just now after three years I recieved a mail from assured debt collection agency for a default on debt payment for 3200 on one bill and 170 on the other for a back brace (170)and compression device(3200) that IÂ’m told IÂ’m owed to Phlicare Medical. I had received a back brace from my doctors office that I was told was free and was covered under my insurance. They sell on Amazon for 20-30 dollars a piece. However I NEVER received the compression device that is apparently over 3000 dollars. In these three years I never received any bills or correspondence from this company neither did they ever try to contact me in any way (I havenÂ’t changed my number or my address in this time) and they directly sent them to the debt collection agency to harass me to pay something I donÂ’t owe. I never received any bill from my insurance or anything that said they denied any claims. Basically no effort was made to contact me for this. This entire company is a scam and are conducting fraudulent business tricking people out of thousands of dollars as when I called my doctorÂ’s office they told me this company has scammed many of their patients and they donÂ’t do business with this company anymore. I hope someone shuts them down before they scam more people. It is also reflective on all the recent reviews of this company on BBB and their google reviews. This mental harassment of people is uncalled for and I have contacted my lawyer to take action against this company as IÂ’m being harassed for an amount IÂ’m not liable for.

Would be zero stars, if possible! I received a debt collection notification 1/24/23 in the amount of $512 from 9/2020 that I never knew of because Philcare Medical Supply never notified me even once about! They would have had the $ due right away instead of sitting on it for 2 1/2 years just to turn it over to collections. Such incredibly stupid business practice as they would have received ALL of the amount due from me immediately and not pay a % of the amount due to the collection agency, especially after so much time has passed! Shame on Philcare for treating their customers with such little respect or regard!
