***y are still trying to make me pay on the vehicle even though there is something wrong with the vehicle. ***y have a warranty that covers up to ****** miles. *** resolution would be to not make any payments until the car is completely fixed or to put me in another car or give me my money back including my down payment.Customer Answer

They are in violation of the gramm ***** ****** act . The gramm ***** ****** act states that Before a financial institution discloses nonpublic personal information about any of its consumers to a nonaffiliated third party, and an exception in section 14 or 15 does not apply, then the financial institution must provide to the consumer:* an initial notice of its privacy policies and practices;* an opt out notice (including, among other things, a reasonable means to opt out); and a reasonable opportunity, before the financial institution discloses the information to the nonaffiliated third party, to opt out.I never receive any privacy notice nor the option to opt out before or after the transaction. Furthermore, they are reporting several inaccuracies on my credit report. They are reporting a balance to one bureau and a zero balance on the other. They are reporting late payments the same month as the charge off month and late payments after the charge off date(both of them ).While at the same time reporting no late payments to the other bureau . They are reporting 2 different dates for the last payment date. All while reporting the written off status to only one bureau. They are in violation of 15 USC 1681n which comes with a fine of $1000 per violation. #1 on my list is having the account DELETED from the credit bureaus. Saber Acceptance sent me a 1099C which is the form for cancellation of debt. They then sent a repo man out to attempt and take my car but I had the 1099C so the man put my car down and allowed me to keep it. Upon further checking I also noticed on my credit report that the same amount that they sent me the 1099C for was on my background and it also stated that the account had been closed. It also stated it had been wrote as a profit and loss write off. Im attempting to get the lien on the title released due to all of the factors with the car and legal forms being sent out such as the 1099C. Its been over a year and I havent heard anything.Business Response

Two 1099C were mailed last year in reference to your account. The first did state we were reporting the debt in January 2023, however due to communication error all 1099C issued by Saber Acceptance were not reported to the *** by our company. We mailed a corrected 1099C in February 2023 stating that nothing was reported to the ***. We are willing to release the debt if you would release the 2015 ******* Elantra (vin ******) that you have been hiding since September 2022. The last payment received on this account was 8/17/22 and the account is currently 508 days past due.

I am rejecting this response because: First off nobody is hiding the car from youll, lady I checked the debt was cancelled. You dont just accidentally send out a 1099C, same way you dont just accidentally mark the account as closed on my credit report. Youll employee ********** informed me yesterday that long as I filed the 1099C that I would get my lien release via email or via my address. Which therefore means a miscommunication happened yet again, so what are the next steps ? I cant undo whats already done but at this point I deserve my lien release. ***** have made mistake after mistake obviously, and I shouldnt have to pay for something where the debt was cancelled. Not to mention the account is already labeled as closed on my credit report. I have audio of youll employee stating that I had to file the 1099C and then I could get my lien release. Yet youll cant address what your employee said nor can youll really give a good explanation for how youll accidentally sent a filled out ****c form. I think its unfair and unjust how youll see the mistake was made, and then youll employee made another mistake just as of yesterday yet I still cant get my lien release. I purchased a car in 2022 all the information we received about the vehicle was wrong so we fell behind on a payment after that they repossessed the car in October of 2022. I finally have the account closed on my credit report but it's still showing the late payments. I need those deleted off of my credit report.Business Response

two times regal & saber acceptance said i was behind on my payment & they wouldn't give my car bac until its paid ---- days before car was towed to regal ive made payments & they didn't tell me i was behind but days later when my car is towed there im behind this is the second time this has happened every time I've asked to get my car worked on... why dont you get notified? why isnt a letter sent out to the mailing address, i was just there making a payment why didnt they say something then??? scamming people for more money---- they're mad i dont want the regal insurance----- what can i do i need help.... thinking about letting them just keep the car since i owe 1100$ with that outstanding amount you would think they wouldn't let it build up & tell you.. they lnow times are hard & people dont have money the way things are being expensiveBusiness Response

it’s crazy how they say i’m past due & things about my insurance - when i was never notified of my payments being past due while STILL making my normal payments, no letter, no phone call, nor the car company or finance company telling me. my car messed up & i need them to check on it & all of a sudden my bill is passed due & my insurance & it’s a hold on my car & it’s going to go up every week - i can make my normal payments but it still will be going up … yesss i need help can someone call me to explain moreBusiness Response

I purchased a car from Regal in July 2021. I had automatic payments so my payments were always on time. The transmission went out so for 3 months I didn't even have the car in my possession while they were fixing the issue, but of course I still made on time payments. Getting the car back after the repair was a whole ordeal in itself. When putting the car back together they forgot to actually tighten the bolts that went from my axle to my wheel. I right away noticed that something was wrong so I took the car to be looked at by a mechanic myself and that's when they found the bolts actually just sitting inside my wheel. I have pictures and statements from the other mechanic to prove it. I could've been seriously injured. Fast forward to November. My young niece passed away unexpectedly. The family was not financially prepared so I did what I had to and I paid for the funeral. By doing that I was having a hard time staying afloat but honored every payment I said I was going to make. Christmas was horrible due to finances and I did what I could. My account manager, Jennifer, is rude and hateful. Telling me they're not there to finance my Christmas (what Christmas) when I spoke with her about being 2 weeks late on one biweekly payment. It's hard to communicate with someone who has treated you that way. It is now January and I missed my biweekly 01/08 payment and my biweekly 01/20 payment. My account manager left a message last week but she was so hateful to me last time and I knew I was paying today I didn't respond to her. This late afternoon I tried to pay both payments on line and it said my account was suspended. I figured I'd have to wait and call them in the morning. Well a few hours later I went to go to the store and my car was gone. I am appalled by how this business was done. If I was paying monthly then I've only missed January and January is not even over. I've had the car a year and a half. Not one problem with payments until Nov and only missed this month.Business Response

In Aug of 2019 I ran into financial problems and my car was repossessed. It has been almost 3 yrs since this happened and I have never received anything from them. It is still being reported as an open account with 33 missed payments with the them being listed as 120 days old. This is not right and I am requesting that this be resolved and removed off my credit report from all three bureau. This has caused a very big hardship and would like this resolved as quickly as it can be. The amount the are reporting is 15,611.Business Response

This is a very Vague answer and I am not clear on the 84 month from date of last transaction because it appears that they said my last transaction in Nov 2022. Does not make since. I haven't had any transactions since 2019. I will make a call but this just not seem reasonable or acceptable

Today is 10-27-2022 and saber repossessed my mother's car. The car is in both of our names and she had made monthly paymrnts on time or no later than a day late. The ladies at the location is very nasty and very rude. Whenever you make a payment she applies the payment to whatever account she wants until you call and correct her. I called back to speak with a supervisor and the supervisor told her that she didn't want to speak with me. My grandmother passed last week and my mother has had an extremely hard time and was literally paying her car note today on lunch break. But 30 minutes before she could they repossessed her car. The whole company at this location is rude and very unprofessional. Now that they have the car back I want to see what I can do to have this sent to collections and never deal with them again.Business Response

I've had my car since February 2022 and I've made all of my payments on time besides the last month and a half recently due to unstable working conditions. I got sick with COVID-19 in August which caused me to miss work, and therefore got laid off due to not being able to come to work, which therefore pushed me behind some more. I spoke with my account manager and we were able to get my account set up for my payments not to resume until August 12th, but instead of biweekly payments it would have to be weekly. I made a few payments which I got from my parents to keep me a float but after a while they couldn't keep paying $156/wk so I missed a couple payments. Before it even got to this point of being behind $800 behind I reached out to my account manager whose name is Fred and I've tried to get my account deferred, or work something out and he constantly tells me there's nothing he can do, all he can do is "note my intentions". I'm not allowed to refinance my loan or anything, this is really unfair when I've made all payments on time besides recently ! Not to mention a friend of mine was at home and told me that as of today which is October 24th a tow truck by the name of Atlas came attempting to repossess the car without any notice from Saber.Business Response

I don't accept the response because there's ways that can be worked out to help their clients. They choose not to do it or pick and choose when they want to do it. I'm not asking for the payments to stop I'm asking to get something set up because life happens and sometimes it's nothing the person can do about it. I'm asking for a deferral due to non controllable life issues. A payment suspension or anything.

I attached documents to show me reaching out to Fred via iCloud email and him stating one amount that HAD to be paid and then another amount that HAD to be paid. When we spoke on the phone he told me they could keep the insurance payment that's incorporated into my weekly payment off of the past due and once I caught up I could pay the insurance due to me already having liability coverage elsewhere. Now he's stating that I have to pay the past due insurance payment plus my past due car payment in order to keep my car. Not only to mention he is trying to make me pay $708 and won't even tell me if I pay it if I'll be able to keep my car.

The customer service levels are horrible and I refuse to keep getting pulled in different directions because they are insensitive to their clients life issues. Speak with me about a resolution through BBB, that's the only way things get solved.

My car was repossessed in the middle of the pandemic april 2020 for one month of missed payments car was months away from being paid off. It has been 3 years and they are still reporting on my credit report 3 years of missed payments. I disputed but saber told them it was still valid.
