      I’ve owned my house since Dec 2016 and have had gas with ONG since then. Today I randomly check my bill and it’s $793. I call asking why is my bill so much. They took a collection account with a guy name Ryan my name is Bryan different middle name, different last name. Social security number doesn’t match and the address is in Claremore and I live in Owasso as matter of fact I’ve never lived in Claremore in my life. They never contacted me by email or phone to tell me your gas will be shut off on Sept 21. Today is Sept 18th. By some miracle I randomly checked my account and saw this huge issue. It’s still not resolved yet because collection needs to contact me now by phone. What kinda company just takes some account that’s not been paid and moves it to an account that has been in good standing for years.l with different names, addresses and social security numbers?? I am now looking into switching my heat to electric in my home after this. Then I will never have to deal with this kinda scam in my opinion again. Had I not checked my account my payment this month would have been $793 which would have automatically been paid and then what??? I will post again if this issue is resolved.

      Literal garbage. I move into a rental house whos previous tenets owe a substantial amount. I send verification of who I am and have to contact them to know it was not enough. They have my SSN and still don't belive me? I did business with them in the past and never had a late bill. Pure and simple bad business. If I had a choice I would certainly choose a competitor as this is utter trash.

      We understand that having to provide your identification and lease for service is inconvenient. However, federal red flag rules and guidelines have changed, and we are required to have proof of identity on file for each of our customers, and providing the lease showing the start date proves that you are a new tenant so you will not be held responsible for a prior tenant’s balance.

      I paid the bill 3 days ago and they have yet to come out and turn on the gas. It is now a Saturday morning and my three children and wife have to wait until the following Monday morning at least, to have hot water for baths and showers, to use the oven and stovetop. Do your job and turn on the gas, gasholes.

      Shut off gas without warning, can’t get someone out for the next two days to start it again, and getting charged another activation fee. This was allegedly due to a soft cancellation request made in early March, which was not made, and it is now a July 3rd. This is the issue with having little to no options on utility services. They provide poor customer service, and don’t even have to make the effort to make it right. Thanks for the bare minimum.

      I have had a terrible experience with them since I moved in. They opened 2 accounts under the same address and they screwed up my billing I just payed $200 2 weeks ago and today they still came and cut me off even thought u pay EVERY MONTH I have called over and over to try and resolve the bill in issues that they have created by having 2 accounts under my name and address

      Billed me twice within a 30 day period. I have NEVER dealt with a single company that does that. I only get paid ONCE a month. This mishap plunged me into poverty for the time I was waiting on my next check. Customer service didn't bother to refund the money when I FINALLY got ahold of someone to have a preferred pay date created. Fast forward 3 months later, I open an e statement and realize they never re enrolled me in automatic payments after I had to pause it to fix the mess they started. They charged me over $200 in late fees. On top of the forever outrageous gas bill. When I asked if they could do anything about knocking off some of the late fees they were quick to retort what basically translated to 'nope'. We have ALWAYS paid our bill on time. Being a loyal customer gets you nowhere with this company.

The total late fees were around $10 after the automatic bank draft was canceled by the customer via the website and was not re-enrolled.       I have screenshots of my bank statements from February and January proving I was billed twice within a thirty day period. I was billed on January 17th and February 13th. 26 days between these bills. SO I WAS billed twice within a 30 period- that kind of fluctuation makes zero sense. I get paid once a month, so you guys had me overdrafting in my checking account. Again- stellar customer service as always. As for the late fees, maybe if you communicated this information to me the FIRST time I reached out that would have been helpful.

      Decided to rewrite my review with more details on my frustration at how awful and atrocious this company is.
      Previously around April '22, they announced that my account with them was shutting down as someone else had stated that they were needing to turn on gas at the apartment I was living at. Doing no verification whatsoever and just trusting the fact that despite the current account having a perfect payment history and no reason to believe they wouldn't respond to inquiry about the closure, they closed the account and if not for me realizing they wouldve shut off my gas entirely when the "new" tenants never pay. Person on the phone states that I have to create a brand new account because my current one was closed thus all my previous statements are gone. Mistakes happen but JEEZ can you verify anything before doing something this drastic?
      Fast forward to this year near the end of April, my gas gets randomly shut off, of course I dont know this because I have automatic deposits and I shouldn't have to watch my bill statements like a hawk for outrageous changes when i can see in my bank account that the amounts are all normal. Once again these morons have failed to do any sort of verification before doing anything. It's just "oh wow looks like that account is still on, lets just not question whether the supposed new tenant is lying or confused and lets not bother to call the phone number on file because that would be too much work".
      Call and talk to customer support only to be told that you have to wait because they wont bother to fix their own mistake till Monday because heaven forbid they try and correct their own mistakes (Thanks for no hot water till then!). Once is a mistake, TWICE here is just ridiculous. It's clear that your system of never bothering to ask is because of laziness, not out of respect for the account holder who would have their gas turned off. If I am not personally on the phone telling you that I want to shut off my gas THEN DON'T DO IT.

      I initially set up the service on 12/21 to be proactive even though i didnt move in until mid Janurary. Service was easy to set up online. I cancelled the service as of 4/11/23 when i realized I didnt really need gas like I was told except for to run the furnace. So from 12/21/22-4/11/23 I used approximately 26.584 dth of gas totalling $245.93. So why have I had to pay them 708.44?? Thats absolutely stupid. Ive had to pay them 270 deposit + 23.39 taxes + 20.08 (winter recovery fees even though ive never had gas in my name before) and 182.08 in service fees. 462.51 for gas that wasnt gas. plus im sure another 36 for the 3 days of billing left over while they calculate my final bill while they have my depoit money! they were not about to be willing to work with me if i didnt pay them a deposit so why do i have to wait up to another 45 days to get my money back? Why do they think price gouging like this is okay? im a single mother with a 4 year old child and this is absolutly not what most people can financially handle paying. For the record my balance is zero so im not angry over my unpaid balance but this is highway robbery at its fines!

      Had my gas shut off 3/17 due to a billing issue, when i called 3/18 to have it turned back on they said they don’t do same day services and they would turn it on 3/19 (mind you they asked me to wait around all day). 3/19 rolls around and they don’t even show up to ring my doorbell, they call my partner who was at work ONE TIME he wasn’t able to answer so they cancelled our appointment and said they can’t come now until 3/20. It has now been 4 days and two apartments have no stove or hot water.

      Their meter was old and they are charging me for 4 months if it not reading, but it took them that long to even call me. I contacted them and the woman kept talking over me and cutting me off. How can they charge for their faulty equipment plus I was paying a bill every month so how did I know it wasn't working? That plus the rate hikes is ridiculous
