On October 11, 2022, we purchased a basic notary package from Burkhart's for an attorney in our office, ****** ********** The total cost was $59.49. To date, we have been unable to obtain our order or have any communications with anyone at Burkhart's who can explain the delay. Since it has been well over 60 days since the commission was granted, it has now been revoked due to no bond which was part of the package we were to receive from Burkhart's. I have telephoned Burkhart's on numerous occasions and have asked that they refund our money. To date, no such refund has been issued. All we want is our money back.Initial Complaint

Transaction Date October 12, 2022
$81.20 for which they were supposed to provide us with a Notary Renewal that has now expired.
We want our money refunded so that we can purchase from another company or get us the renewal that we have paid for ASAP.
Business has NOT tried to resolve the issue. We cannot get in contact with anyone. Call the business phone number and you get voicemail, which is always full, so useless. Tried e-mail, no one responds. Tried calling Scott, who is supposed to be the owner and just keep getting his voicemail, leave message but no return call.

I ordered a notary stamp package on 11/16/2022. I have not received my order. I have left numerous messages and also spoken with Scott. Supposedly my order was going out in December. Now no one answers the business phone & the mailbox is full. Scott does not answer his cell phone either. This is a scam!Initial Complaint

I filed for my notary stamp renewal and been almost 2 months and all they keep telling me is it's being processed and waiting on supplies seams like a big scam to me if I seen the reviews before ordering I wouldn't have ordered from themInitial Complaint

I ordered my notary online on September 26, 2022. It expired October 17, 2022. On October 21 I called and spoke with Josh who said he would look into it and call me back. I did not receive a call. The second contact was 11/8/22 and was told I would receive a call back by 3:00 PM - again no call back as promised. I called again on November 11 and spoke with Scott. He told me they would ship it and I would have it Monday. I did not have it Monday. I called on November 16, 2022 and Josh answered the phone, Scott was not there but Josh assured me he would check on it and call me back - no call. 11/30/22 I called and spoke with Tom who transferred me to Josh who said he would check with Tom and call me bac, I requested a refund - guess what - no call and no refund. 12/7/22 I called and Tom answered. He cannot give refunds, and apparently doesn't even take messages now. He said he just answers the phone. He told me to call back at 3:30 PM.
At this point I am extremely frustrated and it is putting a strain on my employer and thus on me. My Order number is *********.Initial Complaint

I ordered my notary renewal on Oct 10, 2022 and paid $81.20 via credit card. Contacted company by phone on the following dates: 10/24, 10/27, 10/31, 11/07, 11/09, 11/28, 11/29. Two different times I was told the order would be delivered in 2 days. As of today, 12/06, I have not received the order and the company is not answering the phone.Business Response

I renewed my Notary Stamp through Burkhart's Office Supply on 10/4/22 and still have not received my order. I've sent numerous emails but none have been answered. I've called several times also with no return call. The two times I actually spoke to someone I was told that Scott handles the notary stuff but that he doesn't answer the phone or respond well to emails. Unfortunately I read the online reviews of Burkhart's after I ordered my stamp and see now that I'm not alone with my frustrations. At this point I do not want this store to profit from doing a lousy job so I want a full refund. I earn a portion of my income from being a Notary Public so this is affecting my livelihood. 11/30/2022 - I was attempting to get my notary renewed and decided to go through Burkhart's to do so. Upon receiving my receipt - I noticed the ship to address was not correct. When I went to find the phone number - I saw all of the previous issues with other people who had issues with their notary renewals. When I tried to call Burkhart's - the number went to a voicemail that was full. I used the email attached to the receipt to request a refund. I had no response and no indication that the email went through (requested a delivery and read receipt). If the amount paid is not refunded to our company, I have alerted my boss to dispute the charges. As a previous poster has commented, I wish I would have read the comments before finalizing the transaction. Shut down your website if you are no longer doing business (Burkhart's). It's nothing short of a scam to have an active website with no intention of providing the service requested.Initial Complaint

I purchased my notary renewal with Burkhart on June 28, 2023. I have called MULTIPLE times and each time I am told they haven't gotten to my order yet. I also keep telling them that my notary expires on August 9 and they keep telling me they will get to it as soon as possible.
My notary expired 8/9/22 and I still do not have my stamp from them. After reviewing some of the negative reviews online, that I wish I had read before I placed my order, I realize the only way I will get resolution to my order issue is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
At this point, all I want is my money back and not to have to do business with them as it appears to be a scam business.Business Response
