Purchased 4 new 11R22.5 tires. Loves installed 3 11R22.5 tires and 1 295/75 R 22.5 tire on the inside of the rear drive axle, as to conceal. I discovered the problem during a DOT inspection. Loves refuses to Right the Wrong. Come on man.....Business Response

July 7, 2022 I went to Loves #*** where I had my truck parked waiting for servicing and learned that it had been towed. Store #*** is the site I frequently visit for servicing, Ms. ***** the maintenance shop supervisor along with a representative of mine had been discussing how to gain access to my TLC credits. I am there enough that when I was on my phone trying to learn how to hurry this process along a representative from #*** greeted me with ****** you are in here so much I am going to have to give you a shirt (Loves), because it is like you work here! As you can determine I have had a constant presence there!Additionally, along with waiting to gain access to my aforementioned TLC credits or warranties . I phoned corporate and spoke with a representative who in turn connected me with *** in Yemassess, SC store #***. This is where I had my alternator replaced (cost $764.91). From March to **** I had installed four batteries @ $732.68, because the starter, which was replaced by a roadside mechanic from Loves (store#***) left a wire off causing the starter to kill my alternator and batteries, which triggered the truck to run off straight battery and this information is according Loves #*** at the time of my servicing. I must mention that I had two starters installed: 1. *********, ** location #***, roadside servicing, wire not connected cost $964.45 2. Installation *******, ** location # ***. cost $841.12 mechanic diagnosed the starter was missing 2 bolts from the unit and the 3rd bolt was almost all the way out causing the starter to arc on the metal and caused the unit to burn up.*** (store #***) and I had been actively conversing along with a contact of mine about gaining the necessary paper work from Freightliner in SC to cover the warranty for replacement part of the alternator. I have since learned that my part was purchased from an aftermarket place, which is perhaps why it went out quickly. My truck in now in the pound and I have no money to get it out!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This complaint is the original grievance that I posted regarding the Loves Travel Stop located at the following location: Exit 131 *****************, ** I-95
200 *******************************************************************************. The bottom line to my situation is that they did not honor the warranty on the products and or services they perform on my tractor trailer within a reasonable timeframe and my truck was towed. It has since been impounded I was and am unable to pay to get it out. The documents that I see posted are the documents that I submitted.

On July/13/22 I visited this business for my Truck PM oil change. after hours of waiting they took my truck in and had me leave the shop for safety reasons. After a few hours they called me for payments and had me take my truck put of the shop according to the shop agent it was done. I took my Truck and left the area while driving my oil was drained completely when I stoped I noticed that the oil cap on the bottom of the engine is missing and the oil which dripping is old dark to my understanding they did not change my engine oil or they dumped used oil into my truck.same day contracted the store they send a mechanic to help, when he saw the problem he contacted the store and advised them to tow the truck into a dealership since all oil was drained and there could be Sever engine damage. I towed the truck to the dealer they checked it and find out that my truck needs a new Engine. Loves corporate send someone to investigate this matter however they took the responsibility and offer me a settlement of 56k however my engine replacement cost is 81k and truck value is between 85k to 105k, Loves corporate agent keep boiling me to accept this offer and I have until next Friday or they will close this case. I have contacted many dealers for truck prices and they all says the truck value is over 85K. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF YOU GUYS CAN ASSIST ME TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER. Purchased 3 tires that blowout in less then 2 weeks. I called for roadside assistance and had to wait over 24hrs for a service call! And when they finally came out..... they wouldn't honor the warranty because it was another location where we got the tires from! Love's refuse to call me back or honor their warranty on the tires...... I've been waiting on "Wade *********" the district manager of the store to call me back since, July 14th! He has refused to call me back and fix the situation..... after 3 attempts. Next stop; small claims..... On July 18 2022 7am i was pulled into Loves truck shop to have my starter replaced and my AC fixed on my truck from 7am till 2pm when the mechanic was getting off decides to now tell me there wasn't anything he could do to fix my truck after running up the time clock on me at $129 each hour Instead of changing out my whole starter he takes off my solenoid and didn't replace it right as he founded it but instead unprofessionally put it hanging off of the side of my starter so I feel robbed and scammed out of $1253 that was charged I paid to have nothing done nor fixed on my truck I've reached out and made a complaint to the Loves headquarters department and still haven't heard anything back reguarding this issueBusiness Response

This is about Love's #*** in *******, ** First off some details that are relevant. A complaint has been previously made (by my parents) about how this store has treated me in the past. The complaint number for that is #********. I wish that I could say that the company has made ANY effort to learn how to treat their customers since that complaint (which was less than ONE MONTH ago by the way). You'd think they could have at least pretended to be on good behavior and left me alone for just one single month. Apparently not.So, on 7/8/2022, I entered the store some time around 4pm. I had picked up a ******** (I believe) and had set it on the corner of the gas desk and went out and got some things out of my backpack (my wallet, laptop, and a 3DS). I came back in and began playing my 3DS. At this point I had been here a total of maybe 6 minutes (half that time I was grabbing things from my car). I was standing off to the side (not in anyone's way/bothering anyone/or even talking to anyone) playing my 3DS when the ** (*******************) came up and told me that he was going to give me 15 minutes to get out of the store. First off that's extremely rude and you should never speak to anyone that way... let alone a customer of your establishment. Love's (the Subway AND the ********** have designated places to just lounge and do nothing. People literally sleep in the store sometimes. So....why am I being targeted and harassed for not bothering anyone for a total of **** minutes but these people can be in the store for hours at a time and not even be approached? Don't say I was bothering anyone because I was playing a video game and concentrating on it not speaking to anyone. I was standing out of the pathway and in nobody's way. Don't say I was loitering because I had every intention to buy products that I had already placed at the gas desk. So what is it about me that bothers these people so much they feel the need to bully me every time I enter the store? PLEASE resolve this!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: my complaints have nothing at all to do with me being an employee. I only mentioned that I WAS previously an employee. I am now a customer and I (and my entire family) am being harassed, bullied, discriminated against, and just being treated quite poorly by the management at the Love's in question. My complaint has nothing to do with how I was treated as an employee. That being said I do believe it was quite cowardly and pathetic to fire me over a family emergency but that isn't my complaint nor will I ever complain about that because nothing will ever come of it. My complaint and my parents' complaint from last month are BOTH about how I am being treated AS A CUSTOMER.

I am rejecting this response because:I have NEVER been reached out to in regards to anything about any of my complaints. NOT. ONE. SINGLE. TIME. I am getting tired of you all just dodging the issue. Somebody is going to fix this problem and I am not going to drop my complaint until I get resolution. In my opinion, the managers of the store in question need to apologize DIRECTLY THEMSELVES. This serves two purposes. 1.) It shows them that their actions have consequences and that they cannot just do whatever they please because they are best friends with the district manager and therefore HE won't be assigning any training.. 2. Having the managers directly apologize themselves creates a chance to start over and both parties move on from any past issues that they may have had. The managers at this Love's treat me and my family like we are trash. This is not fair nor is it acceptable. We have done nothing wrong.This is NOT an employee/employer dispute this is about how I'm being treat AS. A. CUSTOMER. I simply want to be able to walk into this store and be left alone as long as I'm not causing a disturbance. And I would like an apology from the managers (******************* and ***********************) to assure that they understand that I am allowed in this store. I have not been trespassed nor is there a reason to trespass me as I've never done anything wrong. So, I say again, pass the message along to whoever you want but I will not close this complaint out until this is resolved. And, if I must say so, I find it to be pathetic it's taking this long to get a simple apology.I'm not asking for some type of punishment. I simply want an apology. I have a complaint about the music in the loves travel stop specifically the Prosser Wa store. I was in the store with my family and a song came on the days B**** in it, and does not edit the music. Also sexually explicit music such as Baby got back came on with no editing content. This is a family friends truck stop. That children are in. No explicit language should be that audible.
