On February 26th 2025 my husband went to this business to cancel his truck insurance he had bought from this business. A lady in billing took all of his information and said he’d get it taken care of right away.
After many unanswered phone calls and emails he got a short and kinda rude email back that didn’t answer any of his questions.
On May 6 he went in to talk to her, but after over an hr of waiting she had never came out and he had to leave.
On Monday May 12 my husband and I went back to the dealership to get some answers. She once again never came out to speak to us. We were finally told that she had NEVER filed the paperwork in the first place. The gentleman that had helped us that day said that he would call us laster that day with an update but never did.
At this point we are un able to get any information about the $4,600 that should’ve already been refunded to us.Initial Complaint

I purchased my vehicle in September 2022. At that time of my purchase I was made aware, by ******* at the old lot off of N.W. 10th St, of the dealership having a referral plan. For every vehicle sold by me bringing in business. That I would receive $250 each time. In November of 2023, I brought in my room mate who purchased a 2025 **** Bronco. My neighbor, a 2017 **** Escape (whom I will have to find their info at a later time) and my parents in January 2025. They bought a 2025 ******* Santa Fe. I have done everything but stand on their street corner asking about it. I wrote their general manager ***** an email with no reply. I had been in to talk to anybody who would listen to where I know most of the employees names. It has been over a year of this. Time to make good.Initial Complaint

I bought new 2025 broncos ford big bend during the first or second week of February 2025.The finance lady add the extend warranty and tire, wheel. I didn't know about it and my parents was there to sign the document. After I got the loan from Wells Fargo until see the loan I am borrowing.I told them to take off the extend warranty $3740. Tires and wheels $399. They said it will take up to 8 to 10 week!?!? I ask them why through email they never responded and couldn't explain. ( I don't believe any business take that long to do it refund!!! Side note even with target, Walmart and Amazon as examples they don't take that long to get refund take up to 8 to 10 weeks) However they can add warranty without letting you know so quick but taken off is that long to get refund to loan ( hard to believe)Initial Complaint

I purchased a truck from Joe Cooper Ford from salesman ******* and sales manager *** on October 21, 2024 while in town. I work out of state in NM and come home every three weeks for time off. After purchasing the truck, I went back to NM for work and within 5 days of purchase the truck left me and my family stranded in the NM mountains. The dealership said that they had to get it towed back to Oklahoma to get it repaired so we waited and waited for roughly two weeks and they finally got it to Oklahoma. During this time I had no vehicle. They had my truck for about three weeks until I came back home, the repairs were fixed but again after only having my truck for 5 days it popped a check engine light up on my way back to work in NM. I stopped to have the codes ran and there were several codes. I contacted the dealership and they said that in three weeks when I came back to bring the truck in, so I did. I dropped the vehicle off on Dec 23rd and did not hear a word from the dealership about any work done. They only told me that I needed to contact ********* **** who they sent it to. I tried to reach out to ******* and to *** regarding the work being done and how it was to be paid for considering I had not had the truck in proper working order for more than 10 days. No one reached out to me. ********* **** had my truck for roughly two weeks. They stated they cleared the codes to see if they would come back on, and try to recreate the issue but after two weeks still nothing was fixed. They stated they let the truck idle for hours charging me $202 for fuel and diagnostics and drove my truck roughly 100 miles and no codes had returned. I have had the truck back for only 5 days and have barely driven it but 127 miles and the check engine light is back on! Joe cooper still has not reached out to me at all and they haven’t been of any help. I’ve contacted *** and ******* about the supposed repairs done this last time and no one is doing anything to help me.Initial Complaint

Vehicle was sold to me (August 24, 2024). The local DMV reported there was a preexisting lien on the vehicle from the previous owner, which prevents me from registering my tag and getting the title transfer. I've called and explained the issue, was told they would work on it and got no response afterwards. Now the dealer will not answer my calls and my temporary tag will likely expire before this is resolved. There should have never been a sale to begin with if there was a previously unpaid lien on the vehicle.Initial Complaint

I purchased a used truck in 03/2024 and opted to a load of extras that I felt were not properly presented. I realized my mistake and requested in writing, as directed in the contract, a cancellation on MAY 27, 2024. I have been chasing them since being lied to multiple times. We are nearly 4 mos since my cancellation process and I have still have seen no money. I spoke with the finance manager at Joe Cooper on 9/23/24 and was told the payment was mailed to my bank. Today is 2 weeks later and my bank has not received the payment. Please help me get my refund. I feel Joe Cooper has been very dishonest with me and on the edge of fraudulent.Initial Complaint

July2024 Took my car to get a tune-up at *** Cooper **** in Yukon. After they said my car was now. She told me I need to buy a coil. Just the tune-up would be $386. the coil would have brought my total to over $1300. The engine light did not go out. We decided to get the car checked somewhere else. We were told the spark plugs have not been changed. I feel I got scammed!Initial Complaint

I had an issue with coolant not staying in my car. I took my car to *** Cooper to get the issue diagnosed and repaired if it was feasible. It is a 2012 **** Focus so if the cost is too high I would rather put the money towards a new car. After *** Cooper had the car they said they found the issue was a leak and said the repair would be around $1300 before tax. I agreed and had the repairs completed and paid the amount, within 2-3 days of the repair the issue continues. I took my car back and now they are saying it would cost $9000 to get a new motor to fix the issue. They dont want to give a refund even though they didnt diagnose the car to find the issue and I would have never paid the $9000 if I knew that was the problem. I paid them $1425.63 to fix an issue unrelated to the issue I took the car in for and I still will have to get a new car. Dissatisfied with the service I received and how it is the consumers fault if you dont diagnose a problem correctly the first time. I would just like my money back please.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 2021 Jeep from the dealer and put ******* down. Was advised center console would be fixed at dealership and could bring the vehicle in the next week. When daughter arrived at 11:30 to drop off the vehicle and asked for ***** as instructed she was met by a man who was very verbally rude to her and bucked up to her making her uncomfortable when she asked for a manager he identified himself as such. She went and got a sales rep and found out the man misrepresented himself. She then spoke to the manager *****, at this time they took her vehicle in. At 3:00 she called to pick up the vehicle and was advised they had without prior notice cut off the locking lug nuts and ordered inferior replacements. Then stated they would be keeping the vehicle for several days when it was expressed the vehicle could not be kept for several days as it was originally planned for a few hours. ***** stated she could pick the up the vehicle and drive it "Unsafe" no appropriate options were suggested and the situation was addressed with alack of professionalism. I called the next day and ***** answered the phone unaware it was me and not my daughter and in a rude tone said "whats your question?" I said excused me and he stated "I have your jeep whats your question" I then identified myself and advised he would not speak to me this way-- no greeting just a hateful whats your question. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he just kept repeating I am the manager I again stated I wanted to speak with ********************* and he stated I am he manager. He then lied to me stating the car had not been dropped off until 3:00 I corrected him and again asked for the supervisor. I was denied the supervisor email and told the supervisor would call me back. Which has not occurred. I also have left two messages with my sales rep which have gone unanswered.Business Response

Filed prior complaint ************* in which company was to repair new vehicle that was purchased. Company made the repair but in the process the worker broke the charging ports on the console. The company was contacted within the hour of repair and agreed to fix charging ports. The vehicle has been sitting at the repair location *** Cooper asked us to take it to since Monday January 8th. We were then asked to pay ****** for repair the company stated they would cover. The company then stated they would pay for half the repair. Company already stated they would cover repair since their worker broke the item. Would like repaired and vehicle returned.
