I made a purchase on via RebatesMe at the ******** Shop on Jan 20. The purchase didn't show up on RebatesMe and I had to contact them to investigate. Finally on May 9, RebatesMe declined my cashback saying another channel had been credited. I responded back to ask for clarification what channel was credited and received no response.I use a number of different cashback sites and use a dedicated browser that clears all cookies and history on close to ensure every time I use it there is no chance of other tracking happening.Interestingly, only RebatesMe is the current cashback website offering cashback for ******** which leads me to believe RebatesMe falsely advertises cashback as a form of click bait to get people to sign up to their website. At the time and still currently RebatesMe is the only website offering cashback from ********. I would like RebatesMe to honor the cashback or explain which other channel was credited (given there doesn't appear to be any other channel available) and if they can't, stop falsely offering cashback on sites it cannot honor.Business Response

This type of email is from a "no reply" email address so we do not receive your reply. To reach us your email needs to be sent directly to *********************************** As far as your order being "credited to annother channel," this just means that RebatesMe did not get credit for your order. The other "channel" could be ********. It doesn't necessicerially mean that another cash back site was paid for your order. Sorry for the confusion on this. This typically happens if the item you purchased does not qualify for cash back or an unauthorized coupon/discount was used. I've reviewed your order and added a subsidy to your account for you. I am waiting about a cashback from this company 10 months. My order has been completed since 07/10/24,It has been 10 months waiting an update about my cashback.They always trying to delay and blame a merchant . They even tried to give me a fake credits into my account, I cant withdraw ******** they updated those credit to ZERO and told that they regret the outcome of this extensive inquiry. Unfortunately, the merchant determined that my order was not eligable for cash back through RebatesMe. I am rejecting this response because:My shopping trip tracked successfully on 07/10/24 .
My order has been completed since 10 months ****** cancellation .
Communication via email didnt help at all.
On Jan they told me to wait 3-5 days.
And on Feb they told me to wait 1-2 weeks. Now they cant give me a detail why they still cant pay my cashback.
In their TOS , up to 180 days to processing cashback. but 10 months has been passed and they still cant resolve my issue.
They credited my cashback before.But it cant be ************ is a fake balance
Now they took it and turned my cashback to zero.
They only try to buying time for 10 months,hope I'm tired and forget about it.
They can't solve this problem and only blame the merchant.

On April 1, 2025 at 6:53 PM I received an email from Rebates Me informing me that I may be charged a $1.99 service fee if I didn't log in to my account today. They will continue to charge $1.99/month until my account balance is $0. I logged in to my account on the same calendar day (4/1/25) within a few short hours of their threatening email and guess what? They took the money out of my account early. They had no right to rob my account because I logged in. They stole from me! I want my $1.99 refunded to me via ******. I do not want it returned to my account. I cashed out my account today so they can't steal from me any further. They have a $10 payout minimum so if they simply return the money to my account I won't be able to request a payout. I absolutely will not do any more business with a corrupt business who steals from their customers.Business Response

Please go to your account Overview page, and then click "one-click refund" to have the $1.99 returned to your account.
Your payment is currently on pause so that once the $1.99 has been returned you can request a new withdrawal that includes all of your cash back.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Once again, RebatesMe is attempting to ******* me. I followed their directions. They did not refund the $1.99 fee to my balance as they said. Instead, my account balance went from $21.81 to $22.08. Thats a difference of only $0.27. They are continuing to commit fraud. At this point, I am taking issue with all fees that they have ever removed from my account and demand that every cent be refunded. They have removed $16.11 in total from my account. I do not have record of their supposed notifications. Based on this experience, I do not believe they ever notified me and instead are actively making an attempt to steal the cashback funds I rightfully earned. I want every cent back that they have stolen and will not stop pursuing this matter until that happens.

On August 30th, 2024, I signed up for a RebatesMe account as I needed a new smartphone, and RebatesMe had an 8% cash back rate promotion available, plus a bonus $5 for signing up.I created my account, disabled my ad and tracker blockers, and ordered a new phone through clicking on ******* from RebatesMe. I purchased a phone for $719.99, which translates to $57.60 for cash back, plus $5 equaling $62.60 Despite me doing everything correctly, and my order having arrived a week after I placed it, RebatesMe did not credit my account. I filed a missing cash back request as soon as I could, providing my order number, a screenshot of the fulfilled order, and the email text confirming my order.On their website, RebatesMe has only put down $28.80 as my cash back, despite the boosted rate at the time, and regardless has not yet credited my account with anything.On top of this, I have received a notification that my $5 sign-up bonus is expiring soon, as according to the site, I have not yet made a purchase of $15 or more. However, I clearly have spent way more than that already. I strongly believe that RebatesMe is intentionally holding back this money so as to:A) Prevent me from collecting on my $5 bonus B) Give me the lower "standard" rate by waiting until the promotion expires before crediting me C) Simply not wanting to respect a large payout RebatesMe needs to credit my account with the proper cash-back for my purchase, and also respect the $5 bonus.Business Response

On August 30th, 2024, I signed up for a RebatesMe account as I needed a new smartphone, and RebatesMe had an 8% cash back rate promotion available, plus a bonus $5 for signing up. I created my account, disabled my ad and tracker blockers, and ordered a new phone through clicking on ******* from RebatesMe. I purchased a phone for $719.99, which translates to $57.60 for cash back, plus $5 equaling $62.60. RebatesMe took 60 days to credit my account for this, but somehow, they have only credited me for $14.39. This is highly incorrect. According to their own website, these are the rates of cash back: Home Appliances, Mobile, TVs, Home Electronics 8% Monitors, Other Products 2% Clearly, a mobile phone counts as Mobile, therefore, it is 8%. Additionally, they did not credit me for the 5$ I should have received as a sign-up bonus. This is because they refused to credit my cash back until this was expired. I have been fighting with RebatesMe for a while to get my just compensation for using their service, and now they are trying to scam me. I demand that they credit my account with the proper amount.Business Response
