      6/8/2025, within the 11:00am hour.I asked the attendant for oil filter. She said I ask fuel filter & mad at me. She had hostel attitude, doid not give choice of cheap filter, got mad I want cheap filter. Threw filter across the counter, helped many other customer before me, would not listen to me. ****** blamed me, did not do her job correctly, she said she was the manager and had me trespassing from the store for no reason. I only a product they sell and the manger restricted my business for no good reason. We do not have many auto parts store so I would like help with communicating with higher officials in the company to get a resolution. Thank you

      AutoZone sold a defective battery that caused the starter relay block to fail on our 2019 GMC Terrain. The vehicle ran fine before the battery replacement and had to be towed after the defective battery. *** in *****, WA told us that the damages were caused by the defective battery.

      I bought a pair of the brightest headlights you guys carry, they did not work so I returned the headlights and did not get my money back, I didn't have the receipt but I was not given in store credit, a gift card or my cash back. I confronted them and they acted as if they had never seen me before. At this point I just want a pair of working headlights.

      On Aug15, 2024 I sent my nephew into warranty RETURN a solenoid I have purchased. Vlearly on autozones word and on there receipts it claims if not satisfied with there parts you can get a refund for a whole lifetime. I talked to a man in the ******** idaho location over the phone. He Said there would not be a problem. My nephew came back to my house and Said there manager at the store a hispanic mN told him that the part looked like from a junk yard. Well if autozone in ******** idaho believes that I guess all there parts are junk. The Hispanic manager wS accusing my nephew of I don't exactly know... fraud.... I'm soo confused about how the ******** autozone can be in business when the u treat there customers soo inappropriately and talk down to them and basically they have no trust in there customers. I would like an apology and i would like my refund still, In CASH!! I spend money thousands over the years. At autozone and this is how iam treated? My nephew is treated? The autozone is located near a native American reservation I observe the racial tension my family has to put up with. I'm very light skinned if I went into ******** autozone I'm pretty sure it would of went smooth sailing. I'm sorry for the employees and the manager they hired on there In ******** I will never ever take my business there. And I will let all my mechanic mobile mechanics I know how they are

      I went into a autozone in ********, ***** to return some brake shoes. Everything was going swell until yhe register guy asked his manager ***** for numbers to punch in the computer to authorize return then ***** started asking questions and denied my return for no reason I asked why I even called the either autozone in ********* to why he would denied it. They stated he is just like that. I believe I need respect especially when I always buy from autozone my money is there paycheck so why treat customers messed up I'm totally done with ********************. I was doing a warranty refund . They say there products are good ... I don't think so... they don't stand behind there word on there lifetime warranty and denied customers. I want a explanation and maybe an apology and some respect for making them a paycheck

      Last month July 2024 I sent my friend into autozone to do a warranty refund I called prior to see if that would be alright. The manager of the name of ***** (in ******** idaho autozone) was very nice over the telephone saying it would be just fine when my friend arrived they wanted her identification card and in the end denied her . I work late hours I cannot make it in store. I believe that autozone is completely out of line they say one thing over the phone and when the person goes in I don't know if it's a racial situation but they deny. A id for what? I gave the phone number and the item is on my account. ***** the manager made my friend feel soo belittled. And treated her very poorly. No customer service skills.

      My repair shop purchased a motor from Autozone in early 2022 after my prior motor failed. The first motor they provided me with bent a valve on the test drive and didnt last more than 15 miles. They replaced that motor with a 2nd motor that broke down again 5/3/24 after driving it 8500 miles in the last two years. There is a possibility that my truck will now require a 3rd motor be installed in the last two years. I am being told that the warranty company will only pay a portion of the labor and their hands are tied as they have to follow Auto zone's Guidelines. I have tried to contact the general manager of the store named ****, he told me he would look into my issue and call me back. I am yet to hear back from him and have called him and the store numerous times in the past. It appears I am out of options as **** the general manager of this store refuses to call me back to try and rectify this issue.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I received an update via the portal saying autozone had responded that they are working on a resolution and to let you know if this response was satisfactory. 


      I wanted to let you know that I am happy that they finally responded but I would like this complaint to remain open. 


      I have been told twice by the district manager of the store that he would look into this issue and call me back more than a month ago and never once received a call back from him. A week ago I spoke with the regional manager of the store who again said he would call me back and never has. The regional manager ****** spent about 20 minutes arguing with me about how I was not his customer. I have a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to autozone and their willingness to try and resolve this issue given the lack of help I've received to this point. 


      I called ****** thinking he would be willing to listen / help me out and all I was met with was an argument and him trying to push blame back onto the shop. He was extremely defensive and difficult to speak to, at the end of this I would like to speak with someone at autozone about the "customer service" himself and **** provided. On top of  dealing with not having my vehicle for going on almost 2 months  for the 2nd time in 2 years due to these faulty motors I am dealing with upper management of this autozone location having zero regard or care for my issues. 


      I would assume I am not the only one whose been promised a call back from ****** and ****.

      A male from *********, has been using my cellphone number to obtain warranties at AutoZone **** I called **************** on May 11th and explained to the Representative the issue. She then told me she can not remove his information from my cell phone number/account. Then , I also informed her, it was fraud because I don't live in ********* and had my cell phone number for over, 17 years. The Representative then, stated she still cannot remove his information from my number.

      On May 30th of 2023, my husband and I brought our 2011 ****** Tundra to this store because we were having battery issues. We determined that we would buy a new battery. The truck was in the parking lot and they said that they could do a battery change out for us and dispose of the old battery. The first battery that they brought out was the wrong battery for our truck. About three young men then became involved in trying to get the battery installed correctly. After several attempts they brought out another battery and put it with the polarity reversed. By placing the battery in backwards it caused the entire fuse box to blow and left our truck not drivable. We had to leave the truck overnight and went back the next day to get the truck over to ****** of ****** for repair. The bill to have our truck repaired was $1013.91. The manager had told us that we would be reimbursed for this mistake and we dropped off a copy of the invoice from ****** of ******. I have had numerous conversations with the manager, ************************************* about being reimbursed for this event. I've been given the run around for months and I have now decided to pursue other methods of resolving this claim. I have tried calling the "home office" and left messages for various bogus numbers for "district managers". My last conversation with ************************** was that he had gotten the claim approved, but we never received payment. I called again yesterday and was told to once again try to reach a district manager with a phone number that is not identified with being related to Autozone. It will be a year in May of 2024 and I am now looking at what other options I might have in order to get this resolved.

      Hello,

      After to reaching out to the BBB, I decided to email the *** of Autozone. I ended up being called by two representatives of the ******* area in management on the very next day. 

      I have now received a check for the full amount of the repair. 

      It was amazing to see that a *** actually reads emails from consumers! 

      My issue is resolved.

      On March 17, 2023 I purchased a Duralast Torque Wrench from this AutoZone location that had a incorrect and expired calibration that resulted in several bolts getting sheared off in my car's engine due to the incorrect torque being applied. This resulted in a loss of approximately $525 in materials costs. I contacted the store and their corporate headquarters immediately after the loss. I was ignored for almost six months before finally having my claim denied by the regional and district managers ****** and ******. I was told they have never had a torque ****** returned for that reason despite numerous consumer complaints of this same issue in the review section of their website for this exact tool who have reported similar claim denials by AutoZone. This exhibits a pattern of behavior by this business to deny valid claims from consumers and deliberately defraud customers with faulty tools with expired calibrations. I provided the regional and district managers with pictures of the tool and how the calibration is incorrect and despite this documented proof they still denied my claim.
