Dealer spike is involved in fraudulent activities, shady renewal options. They gave us several different proposal contracts to which none were signed, threaten ** bc we dont want their service, continue to bill and call, each time with a different employee and get a different story each time. They are not following the law in *********** with regards to automatic renewal of contracts that renew for over 180 days. They have sent a collection lawyer emails and letters. We Never signed or agreed to anything but they do not care. They are still billing us and threatening us with legal action

Received your letter with a response from Dealer spike. The answer they provided you is not reality. In fact I keep getting responses from their attorney demanding payment, not to work with us. I have even forwarded case law to both dealer spike and their attorney showing their exact violation of a Connecticut statue  They didnt do what was required to renew an automatic renewal, period. They just went along without any notice and billed us.

We understand from your response that you are not interested in having a conversation with our Customer Support team. We respect your decision, yet we consider direct communication as the crucial next step towards gaining mutual understanding and ultimately reaching a resolution. If you change your mind in the future and would like to talk with someone, please contact us at ****************** and well schedule a call.

I am rejecting this response because:

We attempted about ***** phone calls with Dealer Spike, (so many emails as well) and at one point we even considered settling but the department that deals with complaints pulled the Ol, I'll just keep passing you off to others" and pretend to come to a solution. They showed a signature from a contract from a year ago. Nobody here signed on for another year because their service did absolutely nothing for our company. The dealer spike company is so wrong on this whole issue, and they are breaking Connecticut law as well. I have sent to them and their attny assistant (not a real attny) copies of the laws they are breaking. All they say is that they follow Oregon law, well that does not apply to a company in ***********, but they flatly refuse to acknowledge that and have been talking in circles for almost a year now. They are ridiculous.  This has to be one of the worst companies to ever deal with. If you look online, they have a repeat customer rating of around 7%. 93 percent of respondents said they would not use their services again. Multiple people who are employed by Dealer Spike have commented on the same review sites apologizing for Dealer Spikes actions.  Dealer Spike should never be used by anyone, and their completely shady business practices should be investigated by their own state. I am further sending this to our state's attorney general if they keep harassing our company, and they can count on it.

    Sincerely,

    *******************

This business is harassing me though I have repeatedly asked them to stop. I placed a review on ****** regarding this, and again the Owner guaranteed that the would not continue to call. They have called again today and this needs to stop. I have no previous connection with this business of any kind and these unsolicited calls need to end.

Initiated a yearly contract to host our website and over the course of 2022realized the customer service was lacking. We had no account rep from May of 2022 through August 2022 and all inquiries made to expand our website to host an ecommerce store were never answered. The ecommerce hosting offered is minimal. Our company since has built a proper ecommerce store with another host provider.Dealer Spike was contacted on Nov 11, 2022 to initiate cancellation, a new acct. *** stated in an email that I would be contacted by *********** (that never happened). I was also instructed via email to send a physical letter to the corporate office (have tracking # ). Dealer Spike contact stated our contract auto-renewed on Oct 24, 2022. When I followed up on Nov 20, 2022, I was told by the rep via email that her internal request was ' rerouted to the incorrect party' and her lead supervisor was having 'collections' contact me.The only communication received from Dealer Spike is invoices from an accounts receivable specialist, stating we owe for the entire next year and offering $5, ****** to settle our 2023 balance. Well we had no balance, since our cancellation letter was sent in Nov. 2022. I wrote them once again via email on Dec. 1, 2022 and have not heard back. Only continue to receive collection invoices from ************. The desired resolution is to not have Dealer Spike continue to send unjust invoices for 2023 as we are not using their services.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We apologize for the confusion and the understandable frustration this issue created for you.
It seems you did all you could to bring awareness to us regarding your intentions. It is not our business practice to not respond to attempted contacts by customers.

We own this breakdown in communication and apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. We are committed to doing better.
