08/29/2022 I purchased their basic plan in hopes to purchase my totaled vehicle back and have it repaired. I put a max *** in on my vehicle before the live auction started to secure myself as the highest ***der. I joined the live auction myself to follow along and *** on my car manually once it came up for sale. My car came up for sale and I was quickly out*** and was ready to continue ***ding. Issue is the company locked me out of ***ding manually myself even though my one *** was no longer being used. The company is stating that it was my fault as I placed a max ***. I understand that but I was taking part in the live auction...and my *** was no longer being used because I was out*** and no longer had ANY ***s out on any other vehicles. No where on there website do they state that they lock you out of placing a *** on a car that you put a max *** on in the beginning. As a matter of fact they encourage you to join in on the live auction for when your vehicle goes up. I lost out on purchasing my personal vehicle back that I was the only owner of because their website states I was able to continue ***ding. **************** was of no help as I spoke to agents stating that they would contact the lot and correct the issue with the managers on scene and to expect a call back within a half hour. No call back was made and when I called back in a supervisor answered right away and kept telling me it was my fault and that they would not pull the recorded line. I asked for their manager and was denied saying that they werent available and that they would call me back. I said that I would wait but was rebutted with they can put me on hold. A manager called me back and continued saying that they couldn't do anything and even went out to lie to me and say that they contacted the yard. They claimed I didn't know how to use the system but I was following their guides

    Dear BBB,

Thank you for the opportunity to address the concerns in Mr. ******* complaint.

It might be helpful to understand that AutoBidMaster is not like your local used car dealership. We operate a membership-based online auto auction marketplace and act as a broker to facilitate the purchase and sale of salvaged, damaged, and used vehicles through our affiliated dealer and dismantler network.  Our process is fully explained on our site:  www.AutoBidMaster.com, and anyone wishing to utilize our services must agree to our Terms and Conditions in order to use our services.  **************** agreed to these Terms and Conditions when he became a member on August 27, 2022 (the Agreement).

As provide in the Agreement, AutoBidMaster is a membership service that provides access to the largest auto auctions in America.  As specifically explained in Section 2 of the Agreement, We do not operate the auctions and we are not a seller at the auctions.

On August 29, 2022, **************** joined our services as a basic member and put a $600 Security Deposit down.  Per the Rules and Policies Section of the Agreement, a Security Deposit of $600 provides ************ of up to $6,000.  This amount can be lowered by placing a lower amount as the maximum bid amount on an item.  If the item increases in price to exceed the maximum bid or the ************ then that those amounts need to be raised or the item will be sold by the seller to the higher bidder.

*************** contacted us after the vehicle he wanted to purchase was sold by the seller to another person who out bid him.  We explained that we are not the seller of the vehicle.  Once the vehicle is sold by the seller to a third party, there is nothing we can do to help someone who wanted to purchase the vehicle but was outbid or did not have sufficient *********** to bid higher.  We cannot invalidate a sale from a seller to a third party.  Our business records show that we told this to *****************

Had **************** had questions about how to use our website or our buying process, he could have contacted us before the sale.  As the sale has already occurred, and we are neither the auction nor the seller, there is nothing further we can do to assist *****************

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

    Sincerely,
    *****************************

I am rejecting this response because: I was partaking in the live auction of my vehicle so that when I was out*** I could manually place a *** on my vehicle. When my vehicle came ** in the live auction and I was out*** their system did not allow me to manually increase my *** towards my vehicle. With this company preventing me from placing any further ***s even though it was on the same vehicle my original *** was towards I lost out on the CHANCE to purchase my vehicle back forever. If we were to go through this corrupt companies policies and helpful hints no where does it state that I forfeit my eligibility to continue ***ding during the live auction. I would be more than happy to include the resources their website provides to people in my position as I have taken a screenshots showing that I should have been able to continue ***ding on the one single car for the duration of the live auction. It is at the fault of this companies faulty program that I missed out on placing the *** not my own as they keep trying to throw back at me.

This company is refusing to pull the previous customer service agent calls and listen to the recordings of what I was told by one of their employees.

Again per the companies resources me as the customer placing a preliminary max *** does not exempt me from taking part in and ***ding on the one vehicle I wanted during live auction. If they would pull up their ***ding records they would be able to see that I was unable to place a *** on my vehicle but as soon as my opportunity passed on it there was an accidental *** on the very next vehicle almost locking me into a vehicle I never wanted. Their system was faulty during the ***ding process for me and they are taking no responsibility for the mishap and putting all the blame on myself saying I do not know how to use the system when I was following their own guide.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

I purchased a 2016 ***** Accord from Copart (June 09, 2022, Lot # ********), but through Autobidmaster, because a dealer license was required to purchase. I paid additional fee of $200.00, for purchasing through Autobidmaster. A ******* Certificate of Destruction that can be used for exporting the ***** Accord was issued by Copart to Autobidmaster. I need the Certificate of Destruction so I can export the *****.I called to request for the Certificate of Destruction as soon as I purchased the car and was told its going to take up to 3 weeks for it to be sent. However, after not receiving the Certificate of Destruction, I called again and was now been told I have to pay $350.00 for it.Copart issued the ** Certificate of Destruction to Autobidmaster and thats what I expect from Autobidmaster.Im not paying for a document thats part of the proof of purchase from Copart

    Dear BBB,

Thank you for the opportunity to correct the facts regarding ************** complaint.  Although ************ claims he purchased the vehicle through Copart, he in fact purchased the vehicle through AutoBidMaster.  AutoBidMaster purchased the vehicle from its seller through an auction managed by Copart.  Copart is not the seller of ************** vehicle.

************ agreed to these Terms and Conditions when he became a member on December 3, 2021 (the Agreement).

Section 7.8 of the Agreement outlines the processes for purchases of vehicles identified with Certificates of Destruction.  Section 7.8 specifically states, Buyers wishing to export such a vehicle must contact us with the intention to export prior to the sale.  In order to export a vehicle with such title, there is an additional processing fee and the processing time is two to six weeks.

*********** did not notify us that he intended to export the vehicle prior to its purchase.  Because we were not notified prior to sale, as is required, the ownership documents were processed under our standard procedures.

*********** is also incorrect about the process of the Certificate of Destruction of this vehicle.  Copart was never the owner of this vehicle. The Certificate of Destruction was issued to the prior owner and transferred to AutoBidMaster.

Although we are not required to under the terms of the Agreement between the parties and the Purchase Agreement Document signed by ************ on June 22, 2022, as a courtesy we offered to assist ************ in getting a replacement document.  Should ************ wish for us to assist him in this regard, h*** need to pay the replacement fee.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

I won a bid for a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. I paid a total of $11,296.12. I never received any documentation of ownership. I called and email Autobidmaster master to provide documentation, they told me it was sent. I explained to them numerous times that I did not received any documentation. I asked if someone signed for the delivery and they said no. I followed up again and they said they would call me back, they never called me back.I called multiple time asking for a refund and they started to ignore my call, when someone do answer, I am told I will get a call back. I never got a call back. They no longer answer my email, they scammed me and now I am stuck with a car with no proof of ownership.I need a full refund, nothing else. Its been over 100 days.
