    This company has somehow acquired my actual physical address, real phone number and full date of birth and have it displayed on their website for anyone to see. They do not have my permission and I have attempted to get it removed, but they want me to pay them a monthly subscription to keep my info off of their site. This is a matter of my safety from an abusive ex, who can now find out where I live. Not to mention reputation, as they show I have an arrest record and I've never been arrested in my entire life. This can ruin someone's life or get them killed. It's criminal. I should have a say so in my own personal info and I want it removed immediately.

    To be clear, the opt out process is not as straightforward as you describe. It absolutely wanted a payment to opt out. It was only after I had to email and threaten legal action because of my safety that the company removed my info. They did not however remove the false arrest record info they are listing on the website. This is very upsetting to someone like me who has never in my 46 years had an arrest record. I would like that removed.

    Radaris requires creating an account to remove data and users must provide a cell phone number to receive a verification code. I have entered my number several times and even used my spouses number, and the code never came. I called their customer service line, no one answered and also emailed - I got no response.I want my information to be removed ASAP and this company is making it difficult like other reviewers have stated.

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Radaris regarding their unethical practices in handling personal information deletion requests. My attempts to have my information, as well as my family's information, removed from their platform have been met with concerning and intrusive demands.I initiated a request via email to Radaris (attached for reference) requesting the removal of my personal information from their platform. Instead of addressing my legitimate privacy concerns, Radaris responded by insisting that I create an account and provide additional intrusive personal information, including my phone number in order to have my personal data deleted.This practice not only contradicts established privacy protection laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), but it also raises serious ethical concerns. I firmly believe that individuals should have the right to request the deletion of their information without being compelled to create accounts and disclose unnecessary details.Key Points of Concern:Requirement to Create an ****************************** is mandating the creation of an account as a prerequisite for processing deletion requests. This violates the principle that deletion requests should be accessible and not contingent on additional actions.Intrusive Information Requests:The demand for additional intrusive information, including my phone number, goes beyond the reasonable requirements for identity verification. Such practices are not in line with privacy protection laws and raise questions about the company's commitment to user privacy.Contravention of Privacy ***************************'s actions appear to be in violation of privacy protection laws, including but not limited to the ***** I seek your assistance in addressing this matter promptly and ensuring that Radaris complies with established regulations.I kindly request the Better Business Bureau to investigate this complaint thoroughly and take appropriate actions to remedy the situation.     There is so much wrong information about me on this site. The company states you can control your information. However, the process entails receiving a text message to verify you are the person listed. This step doesn't work, period. I tried at least 10 times on different days and never got a verification text from Radaris.I emailed customer support and was told their system was "down" but it appears to be a blatant attempt by Radaris to prevent people from updating or removing their information. I was asked to send the name I was looking at, which I did. No reply.This kind of invasion of privacy should be illegal. If I don't want Radaris to have any of my private information, they should not be allowed to keep it for their own gain.

    I send them many emails. My personal and my wife information coming back to their search engines again and again. I work with energy company and my wife is teacher. They don't respect any privacy or privileges It's making my job very vulnerability and danger my family members.     Despite rampant identity theft which has caused 42 million Americans to collectively lose $52 billion in damages and costs in 2021, companies such as Radaris insist on profiting from our data by making it more accessible for malevolent individuals. Even more insulting is that the process to remove my data is simply another data grab to profit from. During the pandemic, there were attempts to steal my identity and I had to use my limited resources and time to rebuff these malicious attempts. However, Radaris is undermining my efforts with their callous treatment of my data. Please delete my information cited below and I am also requesting that my profile/data is permanently on opt-out from Radaris and associated data brokers.     I am filing another complaint for Radaris to delete my personal data and profile at *********************************************************** Radaris insists on holding my data hostage and deliberately obstructing any attempts to remove my data. Radaris' latest obstruction method is to require individuals to open an account with their platform to remove their data which is invasive, time-consuming, and seems to be another data collection attempt. As a current resident of California, I am invoking the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018 to request the full deletion of my data and the removal of my profile. If this request is not fulfilled, I will be forced to turn to the Attorney General for assistance on this legal request.

    Radaris requires creating an account to remove data and users must provide a non-VoIP phone number to receive a verification code. I entered my number several times and the code never came. After reading other BBB reviews and complaints against this business, this is their standard procedure. I do not want my information included on their site.

    Radaris has my personal information on their website, and despite multiple attempts to contact them through calls, emails, and their opt-out services, I have been unsuccessful in getting my information removed. Calls have gone unanswered, emails are ineffective, and the opt-out process requires creating an account, which I did, but I never received the verification code needed to complete the process. This situation infringes on my right to opt out, and individuals using the site should have a reliable and legitimate way to opt out before legal action is the last means of addressing this issue.
