      My son attended kindercare in *************. This august he started kindergarten and left the center. He was sick his last week at the center but we still paid for that week. Now I was called by corporate to say we have an outstanding bill for the week of August 29th. The same week he started kindergarten and was not even supposed to be attending kindercare anymore. We informed them weeks before that he would attend until the last week of august. I refuse to pay for a week of school that my son did not even attend. I already was forced to pay a summer activity fee for activities that almost entirely fell on days my son was not attending (he was part time). And on top of that in the process of emailing the center director to ask about the summer fee and summer activity schedule I was assessed a late fee that I was forced to pay. Because they sent the invoice over the weekend and I contacted the director tuesday I was already given a late fee. Im sorry but you have HUGE issues with just wanting money from customers. I am NOT paying for a week my son did not attend. Scam someone else. And by reading these reviews its clear you already have.

      We looked into the charges on your account and after doing some research, we found that the charges were valid on your Family Connections for the week of 8/28 thru 09/03. We're very sorry to hear your family tested positive for COVID, however we do send out invoices the week before care to ensure we'll have the proper staff and equipment to provide the best care possible to everyone who plans on attending our centers! We understand you have been in contact with ****** and hope she was able to clear things up as well. Please let us know if you have any further questions? We ********************* does well in Kindergarten and he is always welcome back at ********* KinderCare!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      we were never going to send him on Wednesday or Friday of that week. Only Monday. I am surprised your policy would be to charge for an entire week even if the proper notice was given stating he started school on Wednesday that week and would no longer be attending kindercare. You do not have a way to prorate the week since adequate notice was given? Had I of known we certainly would never have planned on just having him in the center that Monday and would have made his last day the Friday before. This was NOT clear and was NOT told to me. $235 for ONE DAY of childcare for a 5.5 year old???? Im sorry. Thats absolutely insane. Prorate the amount to reflect ******* last day of Monday 8/29 and I will regretfully pay it. I will not however pay $235 plus a late fee for one day that he did not even attend.

We have followed up with your center director and they have agreed to prorate you for the tuition for the day your child attended. As the center director had previously communicated with you regarding the late fee, it will still stand on the account. If you have any questions concerning our tuition and fees policy, you can refer to the enrollment agreement we provided for your sons stay with us. Furthermore, we would like to apologize for any misunderstanding there may have been, and we hope we were able to bring some clarification to our policies.       My son was withdrawn from their location and transferred to a new school and I advised them verbally two weeks prior and they are trying to collect an extra week of payment for one week extra claiming that I never let them know, however they released me through elc saying I had a zero balance.

When at KinderCare, you should expect our team to always communicate kindly, transparently, and openly with any and all questions regarding tuition or fees, and we are sorry your experience *** have been inconsistent with this. Since your concerns have been brought to our attention, the District Leader of your center has adjusted your account and retrained the Center Director on how to adjust accounts for leaving students.The District Leader also asked you if there are any further concerns you had with the center, and she is looking into those, if any, as well.
