Unethical and customer-unfriendly. My apartment building manager talked me into depositing money into a PayRange account; however, I am visually impaired and have trouble operating a washing machine by phone. In addition I was told by the building mgr that the app sometimes does not work properly. Having never used the deposited money, I followed the app's directions on getting a refund. When no refund appeared, I checked the site and found they do not refund after 90 days. I see that many, many customers have the same problem with them. Making apartment dwellers fight to get money back is an unfair and unethical business practice. When possible, I only deal with companies that are good to their customers.

It's frustrating to not be able to talk to the customer service. I have money that is credited on the account and I can't get to it. They still owe me $14

I used pay range for a couple years. For the most part it worked ok, there were a few billing issues I had with it but I let them go. I moved from the complex I was living and there is no pay range machines in the vicinity. Im when I 1st moved I looked on pay range and saw no where to initiate a refund. I recently got a new phone and when going through my apps realized I have $15 and some change on pay range still. I decided to again look into getting that refunded back to my card. I this time found the link and initiated the refund. I get a response saying you only have 90 days after buying to get refunded. So they get $15 that I will never use because they didnt make it clear on how to get a refund on their app! I would avoid this company and just bring quarters. This is only $15 BUT there was more during the period of use. The machines wouldnt work or it would add $ to the machines without you requesting. This company is terrible, and like to keep peoples $!!!

The response was inaccurate and accusatory. I dont have a refund history. Though my money was taken at least three times and I was not given any refund this was the response I received in my email from the payrange representative. The owner give ** the authority to only give a maximum refund of 3 to every user that will be going to reset every other 30 days, if the user exceeded the limit we refer them to operator or owner to ask assistance.

I contacted PayRange and PayRange will not issue a refund for my remaining balance because of an arbitrary 90 day return policy. I am not asking for the refund of a good or service; I am asking for my own money that is held by PayRange without my consent. There was no reminder that I only have 90 days to get my balance refunded. I cannot find any local businesses that accept PayRange as form of payment. I would like the remaining balance refunded.

I have read many of the reviews here on BBB and the vast majority of the reviews are not properly attributed to the correct company. Payrange is not at fault for many of these issues the users are experiencing, the company who owns/operates the machines being used is. PayRange is getting blamed for the poor operation of the machines that the owner/operators are responsible for NOT PayRange.I am a landlord/property manager and have installed PayRange a little over a month ago to try out on 4 brand new commercial washers and dryers. So far, PayRange has worked and the tenants love it.I did have an issue with a faulty/not working properly blukey module that wouldn't work properly out of the box, and they did promptly send a new one out without hassle which works as it should so far.I do have to take away 1 star for customer service performance. The customer service is not very responsive and feels like they don't really genuinely care at all once you do get ahold of someone for your issue. They don't respond most of the time and I've had to keep reaching out over and over until someone responds, and usually they add someone else to the email to help who in turn does not respond either. It is a little frustrating. This company has potential but will not do well if they continue down this path. I've seen and used other companies with the same approach to customer service flop in the end. Companies seem to think they are wasting money on customer service due to the labor time that it requires, but great, caring, responsive, and most of all helpful customer service is the single best investment a company can make.... too many businesses have lost sight of that, have resorted to poor customer service, and wonder why their otherwise great product or service is not marketing well.I do hope PayRange recognizes these common-theme criticisms in all these reviews and turns things around. I would like to see them do better.

I added $20 to my account. Did 2 loads in washer 2 loads in dryer at $2 a use. That left me with a $12 balance. Two weeks later I did one load of laundry at $2 which left me with a $10 balance. When I went to put my clothes in the dryer I noticed my balance suddenly decreased from $10 to $8. I immediately emailed the company and continued with my second load in both the washer and dryer which should have left me with a balance of $4. Instead of refunding my money the took another $2 out of my account. Please pay attention to your accounts because it appears this company is stealing from its customers!

They are awful. No response when their companies are reported for not fixing issues. Their vendors do not respond and when escalated pay range takes no responsibility

My condo complex, which doesnt permit washing machines/dryers inside the unit, had new machines installed inside our laundry room with a pre-paid Pay Range option. For about 8 months, it was going great. I would purchase $25 Pay Range credit into my account and do my laundry. The credit would last me a couple of weeks. On 02/01/23 and 2/3/23, I was charged twice, however. I noticed the duplicate transaction shortly thereafter and complained. Now, the Company has locked my account, and I didnt only lose $25 per the duplicated transaction but also additional $18, which was in my account after a different transaction.
