  i had a very positive experience with pdx renovations. T/hey were very patient and helped me along each and every step of this frusterating process. They made things very simple and handled all the paperwork. They paid me a very fair price fo rmy house considering the bad condition it was in. i houghhly reccomend these guys if you are looking to sell your home.

  Involving a real estate agent to sell your property and paying them a huge commission iwas the last thing I wanted to do. So, I gave a call to JPDX Renovations, to know if they would buy it. *** inspected the property and gave me a quote. I researched the market value, and considering what needed to be done in the property found thier offer to be very acceptable. So, I accepted the offer the next day. Sold the house 15 days later and I can say it was great working with the team at ***.

  We were facing foreclosure and I decided to sell our house to pay off the debt, but we wanted to sell it at the highest price possible. we researched buyers in ******** and found *** and we gave them a call. They made a good cash offer and assured ** that they can close prior to the foreclsoure auction. They 100% followed through and did just that. 20 Days later.   *******, we appreciate you giving us the opportunity and option to show you how easy and simple the process could be with us. Even with the property being in foreclosure, although there is tight deadlines and state laws that regulate foreclosure transactions that close to the auction dates we were still able to leverage our 20+ yesrs of foreclosure experience and make sure to make the sale happend for you prior to the auction date.   Very pleased with entire process. Had house in another state I needed to sell at short notice. House not in good condition and yard needed work. Enter data in PDX website and got a call from ***** in less than 30 minutes. Discussed house and condition and got a reasonable offer. Also ***** answered all my questions.Worked with ******* to get inspections done. She was very responsive when I had a question on process.Was a fast and trouble free sale which took a lot of stress off of me having to deal with a remote property sale.

  I received a cold call after probate was filed with my dads house. They submitted a bid site unseen. I had no problem with their bid. It was their refusal to rewrite their bid on state legal forms that was my problem. Their contract is one they wrote themselves which if signed, puts the seller in a questionable situation, and allows them to change the price, opt out of the sell right up until closing, and *** the seller. If they were on the up and up, using state forms that are legal should not be a big deal. After refusing their offer, they continued to harass me by mailing letters, and emailing me multiple times a week. I texted and emailed and asked to be taken off all contact lists and to stop all communication. Yesterday, another email arrives asking me to sign all documents. Too shady for me. Seller beware.Do yourself a favor, and run away from a business that preys on their victims (death and grief are hard enough). Work with people who are willing to be ethical in their business practices.

  ***** is trying to mislead the public and make us look bad. ***** states that we wrote the contract we use ourselves and that is not the case- we employed legal counsel to prepare our contracts over 20 years ago and we have been using them ever since as well as updating them for both ****** and **************** each and every year as the real estate laws change. After sending her an offer to ***** , she then requested us to then use an rmls contract and we told her that we will not do this as 1. We are not engaging any realtor and this is a private party sale and 2. the contracts do not protect the seller or the buyer (which is the case-feel free to check with any real estate attorney). These so called state approved contracts that ***** asked us to use and referred to are forms that most realtors use and they in fact only protect the realtor/brokers involved in a sale/transaction which I apparently now this case as ***** is now stating that she is being represented by one (she wasnt when we first engaged her in the discussion about buying the subject property). For 20+ years now we have been buying homes directly from the home sellers and personal representatives of the estates (just like her) and have been using our contracts that we provided her to do so. Not only are they legit and legal contracts- they are written in plain easy to understand English and are very easily readable for even the seniors who may have bad eyesight. Our contracts have been through the ****** and ********** court proceedings and nothing Ill, or illegal has ever been found. We use these contracts to close on over 140+ transactions a year and have done this type of volume for the last 10 years using these simple and easy to read contracts.Upon ***** asking us to use the rmls forms and our representative telling her No we wont and wishing her the best of luck essentially pulling our offer off of the table, ***** has decided to lash out and leave us bad reviews because we will not buy the property and use her newly employed realtors forms who is now apparently representing ***** as she stated in her latest text of Please call **** and contact her as she is representing me,- so she has taken to leaving us bad reviews as a method of retaliation.***** then goes into saying that we are Harassing her, email in her etc. even though she has not asked to be removed prior to her writing these nasty reviews on ****** on 8/09/2022 and on the BBB site on 8/10/22. By the way the emails she got was a reminder from docusign that there is the original offer we sent her, this is all done by automation and she could and still can opt out at anytime if she was interested in halting any correspondence with our office and our representative advised her to do this also (she has that ability in the email) to opt out from future emails. The final straw is ***** warns the consumers to Do yourself a favor, and run away from a business that preys on their victims! - Well we are the most highly reviewed house buyer in ****** and **************** and carry a long history of doing business (over 20 years) with the most positive reviews out of anyone in the industry with no negative reviews other that people receiving postcards they do not want and complaining about them. We find this negative review to be a complete lie in the way it was written and if the BBB would allow a place for documents so that the consumers can see the evidence, I would upload the texts threads between her and our office for complete transparency to this situation. Its truly sad that someone would try to lash out at us for not wanting to use a contract that does not protect them as a seller simply because we retracted our offer to purchase thier house.
