I ordered 4 pairs of shoes, but only 3 were in the box that arrived at my house. Columbia has told me that they sent me 4, and that there's nothing they can do. I'd like a refund for the missing pair.Business Response

I purchased a pair of boots online that I ended up returning. Boots were sent back on 2/5/2025 and I got an email confirmed that they were received on 2/7/2025 and that my refund would be processed in 7 business days. I made the purchase to with ****** and noticed that I was still being charged even after the return, but was patiently waiting for it to process. On 2/23/25 I called Columbia customer service regarding the issue. I was told that the item was received and that the issue would be looked into and that he had to call and check with the ************* can expect further correspondence. On 2/25/25 I called again to check on the status and there was no update and the issue is still being looked into. I simply think this is unacceptable and I need answers and my refund!Business Response

Hello BBB I never filed a complaint before to BBB, but I have no one else to turn to. I made other purchases to Columbia Sportswear and I never had a problem before until now. I placed Order#: ********* Order Placed: Nov 27, 2024 Order Total: $97.50 (1 Item)The Delivery Details:Delivery 1 Status: Delivered Delivered On:Dec 11, 2024 Track Shipment View Details Delivery:LaserShip Ground Residential Original estimated arrival on Dec 3, 2024 I have also purchase a Ring Doorbell Alarm system and installed. THERE'S NO HISTORY OF A DELIVERY TO MY APARTMENT ON THAT DAY OR TIME.I did however received a text message with a photo of the delivered package on the ledge where the mailboxes are. I did contact Columbia, whose agent told me to contact the Laser delivery service, who told me to contact Columbia, now Columbia will investigate the issue. I get an email from Columbia.Hello ******,Thank you for your patience while we awaited the results from the carrier on the missing package investigation. They have concluded their investigation and have given us indication they successfully delivered ********* to the shipping address provided on the ******** the case of package theft, we are not able to provide a refund or replacement. We can advise that you contact your local authorities to report the theft and/or work directly with the shipping carrier to explore a resolution. Your homeowners/renters insurance provider and/or financial institutions might be able to help as well. Buyer Beware!!! Columbia Sportswear uses non-standard shipping partners, and in my case they used someone named Ontrac. Ontrac delivered my clothing to the wrong address and emailed me a picture of the wrong front porch. When I notified Columbia ***************** they asked me to send them a picture of my front porch, then they explained a lengthy missing package investigation was going to occur over a period of up to 7-10 days. Huh?? At this point you are just stealing money from customers. I requested a refund and crickets. Luckily looks like my credit card will reiumburse me for the trouble.Business Response

Ordered a men's winter jacket set on ************************ website. and paid RUSH shipping and still do not have the jacket that was due to arrive today. I keep getting emails with a date pushed back to even ship out the coat! I paid $25 Rush shipping! Phone agents have no answers tried to blame my ****** card bank saying they have not rec'd the money. I called my Chase ****** card they said it's on Columbia's end. This is the WORST customer service I have ever seen. No answers, no tracking number no help! I needed that jacket rush!!!!Business Response

I made an order for a fleece zip is from Columbia and I went into my account and there was an order there from 2021 I didnt even remember placing it but i never received it and I did chat and they would only give me 15% promo code since its been so long I have been in and out of psychiatric facilities through most of these years I suffer a mental breakdown when I witnessed my mom dying in a house fire and then on top of all that the fire hydrant did not work so they had to go find a pond for water supply in the middle of December that wasnt frozen over her dog made it out and just when the flames wee at the highest he ran back through the flames and stayed by her side so all of my trauma that I had tucked away came back to me in full force then she came to me in my dreams fir a month straight and I asked my 2 daughters and my ex husband if she came to them they all said no so then my very last dream it was her standing in my bedroom with her arm extended as to clasp and when I went to grab it we didnt connect *** only then when I fell backwards and woke up realize I was sitting up in my bed and I hit this crazy delusion that she wanted me with her so hence the many psychiatric hospitals all through these years but they only offered me a measly 15% promo code and if u ****** it anyone can use that promo code they acting like they were doing me a favor by the way im feeling much better mentally so thats and je waiting and waiting one would have thought at the very minimum a 20$ credit or even a20% discount but no Ill screenshot and show u please u would think that they would want to keep a customer happy a repeat customer as that ! Purchased a Columbia winter jacket aprox 7 yrs ago for aprox $150. Ripped it on 12/23 on a sharp corner.Reached out to Columbia via a chat asking the best way to ***air it since the material was delicate. I was asked the model number on my jacket, I provided.I was then told by the Chat ***resentative that "your item comes with a lifetime technology warranty". They gave me the instructions on how to send it to them and options for ***air, ***lace, receive a merchandise credit if they couldn't ***air. I shipped the jacket on 12/30, spent $19.18 on shipping costs. I waited the recommended 8-10 days, on 1/17 I chatted with their *** again to get the status on my jacket.The *** said that my claim was declined but he could not say why.He recommended calling ************ option 3. When I called, the *** on the phone said that my claim was denied because I caused the damage and their warranty does not cover that.I asked to speak to a supervisor who said the same thing.I asked for a manager (*****)who called me 4 days later. I explained to ***** that I was very clear with the warranty *** that I damaged the coat and my claim was rejected for that same reason. I was told that their ***s weren't properly trained.I chatted with another *** with the same scenerio,clearly pointing out that I damaged it and they still instructed me to send the coat back since it was covered. ***** offered me other coats, not similar to mine, at a discount to compensate for their incorrect information. I told her no, I was told on 3 occasions that my coat was covered under warranty and they are not honoring that. I spent almost $20 to ship a coat to them that just got sent right back to me.***** knew they were wrong but said she had no power to refund my shipping or ***lace my jacket, I would need to purchase a new one. They are misleading people with false information and not honoring it even with proof of what their employees are sayingBusiness Response

Spent over $30 again to mail this big jacket back to Columbia for warranty to fix zipper. I have to do this early as the zippers are obviously subpar. At least every other year I receive credit which makes the several weeks without a warm jacket in the middle of winter in ************** worth it, along with shipping costs. I had offer to fix zipper locally for decent cost and I regretfully refused and sent back to Columbia. This time has been much worse.The revived jacket on January 2 and checked in jacket 10 days ago via waiting for an hour phone call afteer which I hung yo, then chatting, which told me to call them and their automated says reverse, for faster times to use chat option. So, wasted hours there. Finally got someone who said that it is being repaired and shipped back any day. So quick that I likely wont have an email send with tracking. Well, its been 2 weeks later. In between this, I checked again. Its freezing here and I dont have another option thats warm enough. I shouldnt have to spend hundreds on new jacket if it is supposedly being sent back asap, right? Well, thats obviously a lie. Just like other interactions. Waited forever one more time to say how unhappy I am, and cold that I have . been this time with the treatment from Columbia and I get a survey to send back, lol. I have to argue to have someone to listen to my experiences. So I get another case number and email. Again, closed case email.I call yet again, waiting on hold forever each time, and this *** said the emails mean nothing and someone is reading it. lol. Sure, they are. I will attach emails which basically dismiss me and say my case is closed. Even though Im out so much time, money and wasted contacts and still no jacket. Nothing. Maybe I should have bought from north face or another respected, warm brand that many use in **************.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because nothing changed. **** asked if I had checked wrong response because team usually sends credit. Checked again and realized I did all correct, team still did not do it. Just because jacket filet arrives doesnt fix half of issue.Rep offered 20% off future purchase. Doesnt even pay for shipping or make up for anything else and I told her it would take an hour plus just to get a hold of *** to use this 20% (she said I could call back n in to utilize).If nothing else, I want others to see poor response.

1/7/2025 I ordered (#*********) women's snow boots for my daughter, to date only a run around from Columbia saying they couldn't do anything about it. I called several times they claim an investigation has been opened. 28 days later still no world from Columbia regarding my order. My credit card has been charged the full amount less shipping as of 1/28/2025 which has left me no alternative but the BBB. I thank you in advance for your attention in this matter.Business Response
