      My husband took our simplicity vacuum to clear a clog that he vacuumed up to Starks at **** and *************. When he got the vacuum back, he brought a vacuum to our house that wasn't ours. We took the alien vacuum back to Starks and they denied switching vacuums. The bogus one that we were forced to use just broke a flywheel and we have to have that repaired so we can vacuum. ******* has denied switching out our Simplicity for a Riccar. They justify this because both vacuums are made by the same company. To rectify this bold behavior, I am asking that our Simplicity be replaced with a new one with an extended hose like the one we purchased. I have never had an experience like this before.

      This is the second time I am responding to this complaint.  First I would like someone to find my last response to this.

      So I have double checked with the location that she took the vacuum to.  There might be some confusion because the vacuum bags that were put into the vacuum at the time of service say Simplicity on them, they are interchangeable.  Riccar is Simplicity rebranded.  When a vacuum is brought in, the sales person prepares a work order by writing down the serial number, make and model then attaches it to the machine.  This prevents this very thing from happening.  

      Again we are sorry that you feel the way you do but we have no reason to keep your vacuum.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      This agency has the opportunity to amend any serial number that they want to take advantage of clients who do not think that they need to be vigilant to take their vacuum in to have a clog removed. They rely on clients inattention for this very purpose. Again, I will state that the vacuum left off was NOT the one received in return. My husband took a Simplicity in to be unclogged and returned with a used Riccar that was dark blue and older. I would like a new Simplicity with an extended length hose that reaches into my bathroom about thirty feet. After being forced to use that old Riccar, it is in the shop with a broken flywheel. This is outrageous.
