I paid over 50k to this law group to settle outstanding credit cards in my and my husband's name. We still have outstanding balances showing up on our credit reports however ******* stated that all debts have been resolved. I have reached out multiple times via email calls and messaging and no-one has gotten back to me. When I call their number, I am placed on hold and then the call is dropped while on hold. I need some answers.

Helbing Law Group issued me a check for a refund owed in the amount of $1007.84; when I deposited it, the check was returned due to the account being closed. I have reached out to them at least 30 times with no resolution (twice speaking with live representatives, the remaining times leaving voicemails).

I joined Helbing Law Group 5 years ago which is a debt consolidation group. I had 5 credit cards with the total debit of ******. The agreement was I pay $533.00 per month for 2 years and they would negotiate all my cards to get paided off. Within the first two years they payed 3 of the smaller balances of the cards totalling $8,000. The 2 cards they did not settle have now grown to over $20,000 and they are now asking me for more money to pay these cards! They still have $6,500 of my money that is unaccounted for and they say there is no money in my account! I have been served at my house by the police 4 times for this matter. How long does this have to go on!! Please help!!

I found a agreement with Haven law group on a debt consolidation I've been paying on it for almost 3 years and I still haven't heard anything from them to know if they paid anything off but they still take $225 a month out of my disability check each month

Thank you for reaching out and bringing your concerns to our attention. We would like to clarify that our firm is Helbing Law Group, not Haven Law Group.

Upon reviewing your records, we confirmed that you made two payments to Helbing Law Group in 2021, which were fully refunded to you following your cancellation of your retainer agreement in 2021. We have had no further active involvement. A manager will be reaching out to you shortly to discuss your concerns and help guide you through any further questions you may have.

Thank you again for reaching out.

This company reached out to me to offer consolidation of loans. I told them I have already gotten consolidation of loans, but said they could take over the consolidation with my solar panel company. I reluctantly agreed. For months I was paying ******, totaling ********* over the course from 1/17/2022-1/24. They were not doing anything whatsoever regarding out consolidation and thus eventually called me and told us they were refunding my money, but all they provided *******. Thus the bank sent it back to them. Since then we have not heard anything back form the company. In February this year, my daughter was taking over my bills to pay them off and called them to get to the bottom of this. She corrected them with how much I was paying and they claim that the amount was for attorney fees. A week ago, they put a stop payment on it, so I couldn&#**;t even deposit.

    Business Response

We strive for 100% client satisfaction. Although we don't offer loan consolidation and are not sure what she is referring to we issued a refund which was returned to us by the post office. We see the address she used for this complaint is different than the one she used when signing our agreement and is different than that we have on file. We have called with no answer. We are re-issuing a check but are waiting for her to call us back otherwise we will send it to the address on this complaint.

February 2021 I hired Helbing law group to represent me with debt consolidation and settlement with my debtors. They have failed to represent me in an acceptable manner. Ive been trying to contact customer service for 4+ months with no response. I want documentation of accounts settled and accountability for every dollar sent to them. I have been hurt financially from Helbing Law Groups lack of care for their clients. I need to be provided with an update on how to figure out what theyve paid off and what still remains.

Since March 2019, my mother has been a client of Helbing Law Group. She has been making monthly payment timely since that time non-stop and there is supposed to be an end date of October 2024 that is related to a previous settlement agreement in her plan. We just want to make sure everything is going at it should be and recently the service from Helbing Law Group has been unacceptable and SCAM Like. We worry more after reading many negative reviews on ****** as well. Almost all of her accounts appear to be settled and/or dismissed. However, suddenly she received her Savings Accrued back without any explanation. Also, there one more account left that has remained un-settled and we have been trying to end an explanation from them what is going on with the account now for several months. Helbing Law Group is not replying back to the emails and we've tried to call them ************** and that number is not being answered and going nowhere. Previously we could talk to people and would get decent customer service, but now it appears non-existent. Will the remaining account be settled and also why did we receive money back without any explanation? Client ID: ***** with ************************'ve attached an email as a sample of the type of correspondence we'd get previous in 2019 and after some. Yet recently it is impossible to talk to them.

Just yesterday, the business contacted us directly and for now have supplied a detailed/sufficient response. However, they were very hard to reach and for weeks not providing any response nor answering phone calls, but now we got someone better to talk to finally and explanation of what all is going on.

I received a call from Helbing law firm asking me if I wanted to consolidating my accounts. I asked about how they went about helping with my accounts. They looked at my credit report and told me with what I owed I would just make a monthly payment to them of $435.67 for 27 months and that would clear up my accounts. I agreed and I started calling every month to see where we were at with the accounts they never called me I had to be the one calling them I had 5 accounts they were working on and it took awhile before I saw results. I signed the contract on 8/6/19 and they should of paid off the accounts by 3/22. I got sued by one and they took care of that but they only paid off 4 off the accounts and 1 was never settled. Last I called the lady I talked to about the account said there was money in the account to pay off that she was going to see about it and never got a call back and they never paid it. In total I paid them $13,669 and I just found out that there is a frozen account that wasnt on there that they claim but never settle and I have been paying that account monthly as of today Im still paying for it it should not have been on there for them to consolidate. Now that account wants a 3 way call to un freeze my account with them and I cant get ahold of them. If you can help me with this situation Id really appreciate it. Thanks
