  In October 2022 I went in to contract with the aforementioned company to settle my debt. Money is debited from my account monthly to pay their fees for negotiating credit accounts and making settlement payments to my creditors. February 2024 I was placed in to collections by ************** for a PayPal account. This is one of the accounts in my debt settlement program that Helbing Law Group is responsible for handling and resolving. I am trying to get my credit together and am paying for a service that is not being provided and being further punished because of their incompetence.

  Over the last two years I have been making payments to Helbing Law Group, debt relief program on the last of 3 debts they have been helping me with since before 2020. I have been paying $200.00 a month for the last 23 months to pay off *********** and have had no reason to complain because they helped me with both ***** and JCPenny account debts. Now I am unable to reach them by phone *************) or by email addresses ************************************ *********************************** or *********************************** I am at a standstill regarding how to reach them.   I began this process in 2018. Only 3/4 accounts were settled. I haven't been able to reach anyone or recieve a callback after leaving a voicemail or an email response for over a year. The last response I had was an email stating the 3rd account was settled in March 2023. Why am I not able to contact anyone at this company that I paid to consolidate my debt? It's been over 5 years and the 4th account is still affecting my credit score. Why do I have to file a complaint in order to actually get service?

  I entered into a "contract" with Helbing Law Group to settle two debts I had incurred in May, 2018. One was for $21, ****** with ****** by ******* ***** and the other was to Master Card for $3,445.83. I agreed to pay an initial amount of $250 and them 35 payments of $465.12 for a total of $16, ******. They have recently accessed my bank account for four additional unauthorized withdrawals of $366.95. REPEATED calls to Helbing have gone unanswered.I can't confirmed that they have settle the debt. ******* ***** has turned over the debt to a collection agency who is now coming after me.

  I have heard from Helbing Law Group.  However, the issue is still unresolved.They are claiming that I authorized additional withdrawals from my band on a phone call in July.  I don't have any recollection of that call.  The original authorization I had with them was spelled out in a WRITTEN contract that I signed.  I would think a firm full of lawyers would know to  put a contract in writing and not rely on a phone call to enter into a contract.

  I hired Helbing Law to settle my debts. When first hired they stayed in contact with me and communicated well. As soon as they received all of their fees exept the fees they are supposivly paying my debtors from me I got zero help. I cannot get past a representative on the phone when I use to be able talk to case managers or legal team. I've been receiving letters in the mail from my debtors I've brought this to their intention they say about ten different things about it I've asked for all my settlement agreements about twelve times or more they keep saying they will mail them or email them to me they tell me they will owe me money because one of my settlements got thrown out in court I have been taken advantage of and decieved by this company I've told then about many times I need more information from them I need to talk to a supervisor I get lied to constantly they've taken a large sum of money from me and have not kept their word or done their job after most was received

This one is quite perplexing as we represented this client with great results on 3 lawsuits in court including one case that got dismissed. We also handled 2 others prelitigation with above average results and are only left with a very small creditor that is still being worked. We have never missed the clients payment regarding their settlements and will send him all appropriate documents. We spoke with the client and brought him up to date on all his file.

  I started making payments with equity sales financial group on11-16-2021. This special purpose account received 18 payments of 300.41. The helbing group received payments of 266. For the same dates of equity financing. On March 16,2023. I cancelled payments. I wld call and get dropped calls. I wld get yelled at as was told to stop calling... I wld receive a call back... Thr was only 2 people working in the escroll department and thr was no direct line some one wld call me back. I haven't gotten a phone call back yet. One of my accounts went to supior court. When I cancelled with helbing they starting working trying get get it resolved( the credit card company that's in supior court).It sld of never gone to supior court I had enough money in my acct to settle before it went thr. This company still has not released the power of attorney so I can work on try to get this company a settlement. I started with 25 k owed to credit cards of the special purpose account I know owe 30k. This company only settled one very small account. I had to work hard to get them to settle that account. I haven't been able to get anyone at this company to tell me wr all the money I have payed to them has gone. I was told that thr escroll department would help. Till this day I am not sure they have a escrow department. I am for sure that they have not done the job that they needed to me out of dept. I am in more dept. Had have lost over 15k with this company. They don't have a right to do people this way. Thanks ***********************

  I entered into a debt resolution program with this firm in June of 2018, to settle accounts with four creditors. I have been done with the payments since July of 2021, which totaled $16,228. They settled two of the accounts, totaling $5281, but I am being sued for one of the accounts, since March of 2021, three years into the program, when it was suppose to be ending for me. I was just told last week that the last account hasn't even had negotiations started for it yet, so I pulled it from the program today, as it's been over five years. Additionally, I was told today that there is only $3818 left in the escrow account to cover the remaining two accounts. I understand that there are fees associated with the program, but after the amount of the two accounts that were successfully settled, and what remains in the escrow account, there is a difference of $7129, which is nearly half of the total that I've paid them! They are very hard to get straight answers from, and over the five years of dealing with them, there have been a few times that I've gone several months without hearing from them. Before I started pursuing answers again from them, which I restarted in March, it had been over eight months since I'd heard from them. I feel completely cheated, being that there is $7129 that seems to be unaccounted for (again, with the exception of a reasonable amount of fees), and that I am being sued under their care. In researching Helbing Law Group, I'm coming across many similar stories of people feeling cheated and scammed, like their money was taken and they were not provided with the service that they paid for. Please investigate this firm, I too feel cheated and would like a reasonable amount of the $7129 to be refunded.

  October 2020 I hired Helbing law group to represent me with debt consolidation and settlement with my debtors. They failed to represent me professionally and I learned that my bank account was frozen by court order. I was unaware if this until I tried to buy food at the market. The legal team is incompetent in my experience. I want a refund of fees charged to date. I paid Helbing $757/ mo since beginning in 2020. I want documentation of accounts settled and accountability for every dollar sent to them. I have been financially injured by their lack of duty as I paid my agreed part of $757 per month on a 58 month agreement. I fired them today after giving them a last opportunity to intervene for me as they were paid to do. They have been sent literally thousands by me to settle debts in debt reduction negotiations.

  I have been with Helbing law for 3 years. The only settled one credit. My check has been garnished for 1 year. No one has called me back and they keep taking money monthly as a payment. The lawyers dont call back and doesnt respond to calls. O advise everyone to stay away from this business as if has done nothing to help my credit debt. I would like to stop them from taking monthly pays as Im paying all bill with garnishments.
