I did my skills test on Feb 20 and received a result as failing so I registered another test. Then my instructor told me that I actually passed at the first try after a week and told me to just cancel the exam. So I waited for almost a month and contacted Credentia so many times to ask when my result can be fixed. One of the agent told me to submit a grievance form on Feb 17 because I couldn’t file it after my test has been done in a month. Today I finally heard back from them and my result got changed. I tried to call them to give my a refund but they said they couldn’t because I filed a grievance form. I lost my $80 and I don’t think it should happen because if my score was correct at the first place I won’t register for another one.

We were very disappointed to receive this complaint and immediately investigated the concern.
We have requested a refund for the exam scheduled in error. Credentia's mission is to provide a hassle-free and convenient testing experience for all candidates. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

Horrible! I had issues from day 1 scheduling my exams. All they say is I have to put a ticket in. I have tried to schedule my exams for almost 20 days. They should really look at their issues.

I previously was a Nurse Aide for 3 years. I took the class again to renew after a few years. I can admit that the 1st time I did not prepare myself, but the 2nd time I studied the handbook as well as videos for hours especially while sitting and waiting to be tested for 3 hours. My exam was supposed to be at 8 am, but they asked to reschedule at 3 pm due to them having an overlap of written and skill testers. The examiner didnt seem too pleased that she saw 4 extra people in the lobby after we had already been waiting for almost 2 hours, but said she would test us anyway. She also was humming and walking around while my partner and I were doing our skills. I also work in a hospital where I am constantly removing my gloves throughout an 8 hour shift so I know how to properly remove gloves. I filled out a grievance form as I did not agree with the examiner saying I missed only step 8 of donning and removing PPE . Upon their review they added another step (9). How is that even possible? I wish there was a way to report this for even further review. I know others who messed up worst, and their examiner passed them. I am not new to the skills of being a Nurse Aide and have been removing gloves and PPE for over 16 years.

My daughter took the exam in November, 2023 but until this time, CDPH has not received her test results. We just spoke to one of the staff in CDPH. The examination center in Nile College said, it would take 30-60 days for Credentia to forward the result. It is already February, 2023 and CDPH has not received her test results yet. Her case is not isolated coz her friends who took the exam during the months of November and December have the same problem. They can't start working without their official CNA certificates. Credentia should understand that they paid and submitted the requirements to be able to take the exam, therefore, they should be responsible and prompt enough to do their job in submitting the test results. They are holding them from getting a job. These examiners have families to feed. My daughter's friends are planning to report this as well to higher authorities to review their case.

I don’t even know where to start. This company is the worst! I did an exam and fail the first time which I retaking it again and passed. Well I didn’t get the passed results as quick as I did with the failing one, which I called and stated I haven’t received my exam passing score. So they said it’s not showing a score but then sent me the same failing score exact score from the first one and saying it’s nothing they can do but for me to file an grievance which I tried and it wouldn’t even go through. When I tell you my feelings are hurt it’s really sad. I don’t know what to do at this point but pray!

They suck. You have people testing on the weekends but have to wait 3 to 5 days just for a page to tell you if you passed or not. Your system sucks and I wish people never had to waiste their time going through this because if you have testing on the weekends you should have it where we get our results same day. The written test they tell you right then and there! It’s pathetic

They changed the date/year on my certificate and then had it lapsed. I hope they correct/change it back.

Terrible I’ve been certified since 1994! I had to get my certification renewed they never sent me anything. I finically get it fixed after multiple attempts and then they say it lapses 3 months later. Im inactive on the site. I can’t work a nursing agency job and they caused me to loose work. I have never been without a job. They keep saying they are going to fix it and never do.

I called Credentia on November 16, 2022 and reported I was unable to schedule Med Aide Nursing Home exam. They determined it was due to their computer system and I was issued a ticket. 6 days later and still no resolution when I had been told it would be resolved within 72 hours. Now I'm told it will be resolved "as soon as possible" and no further information. Who holds Credentia accountable? What repercussions happens to Credentia when they are unable to resolve our issues? How can we get issues resolved?
