      Good morning,

As was explained in the previous complaint you filed, which was closed by the Better Business Bureau already, a replacement bay window has already been placed on order for your home.  Power does not manufacture the windows that Power sells and installs and is beholden to the window manufacturers manufacturing lead times and delivery schedules.  As soon as the replacement bay window is delivered to Power's local installation office in ****** a Power representative will be in contact with you to schedule the installation of the new window.

We look forward to having everything resolved for you soon.

      Thank you,

Power home remodeling came to my home several times before installing 7 windows and a sliding glass door with blinds . We had had several other window places out before for an estimate. We chose Power Home because each time we talked to them they told us about an extremely good warranty that came with these windows. We were suppose to have a lifetime warranty on these windows that would cover any breakage even if accidental breakage example by being hit by rock . Window would be replaced at no charge for window or labor . Also was told warranty was transferable one time if we sold house . Theres more I think you get idea . I had to contact them to get copy of warranty because we werent given any paperwork after installation. When we finally got the warranty it actually doesnt cover anything the representatives from their company that came to our house told us . I mean nothing . We spoke to them this morning and they said theres nothing they can do . They had us sign on a tablet fo purchase but did not have us sign anything about warranty. I see why now . These people bold face lied to our face to get our business. We couldve got these windows a lot cheaper but the warranty they said they had was what made us pay the extra money . This is extremely false representation by them . Dont know if you can help or not . Warning folks do not buy from Power Homes they will totally Rip you off ! Very unhappy with this business.

      Good morning,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners like you very seriously. I apologize for any frustration or aggravation this issue may have caused. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.

The warranty coverage on the project you purchased from Power Home Remodeling is provided by both the window manufacturer and Power.  Power covers the labor portion of the warranty as the dealer and the installer and the window manufacturer provides the coverage on the product itself.  Copies of these warranties are available on Power's website, in the Project Pulse app, which you are a user of, and copies of the warranties are in the window demonstration Powers Remodeling Consultant performed in your home before you agreed to entering into a contract with Power.  By entering into an agreement with Power by signing the Sales Agreement and Project Specifications for your specific project you acknowledged that you read and understand the agreement you entered into and the associated guarantees related to it.  Unfortunately, there is nothing Power can do with respect to the window manufacturers product warranty as they are not owned or operated by Power and Power's labor warranty is a lifetime labor warranty as described.

10/24/2024Trying to get in contact with customer service is a long wait. I paid out a significant amount of money for my roof, siding, gutters. They are fine but this company does no want to take on small jobs and call it MODIFICATION instead a new job. I need my chiming flue removed and the hole patched and I still have the tile from the jobs Power House completed. The lie about we will always be her for you is not true. Watch Out for this company. They never heard of ***** ****** or *** ********. They give and tell you everything you want to hear then cannot complete small jobs. Shame on them.. I found out they have a bad reputation with other companies. BEWARE!!!!

Power was contracted to complete the roof, siding, gutters and attic insulation at your home.  These projects were completed on 7/6/2023.  Power's warranties and guarantees cover the work performed in the event of any material defects or installation related issues.  Powers warranties do not cover discretionary modifications to the home as it relates to the work Power performed and Power as a business does not do repairs or modifications outside of the scope of what the warranties provide for work Power has already performed.  You are free to enlist the services of any 3rd party contractor you wish to make the modifications to the home that you desire and Power will continue to warranty the work it performed at the home with the only exception being the portion that has been changed or modified.

I live in ** and a sales person from this company showed up at the side of my car as I was getting home from work. They made me feel very uncomfortable and were over aggressive in setting up an appointment for people to come to my house that night or the following day. After my repeated bouts of not showing any interest in the product or services I was forced to accept an appointment i did not want. Ive now been contacted by email they are showing up at my home again today. I feel very uncomfortable about this company and it feels like a scam to try and enter my home. Their website says they are A+ rated on BBB which feels fake. (********************************) but I wasnt even able to find a NJ location on your site at all. I chose a FL location just to be able to fill out the complaint. The entire situation is sketchy and should be dealt with immediately I believe. Thanks.

Power received a separate communication via Powers website outlining your request to cancel your free estimate scheduled for 10/23/2024, which was cancelled.  Power did not return to your home.  Additionally, Power has already added you to Powers national Do Not Call list and your local Do Not Knock list so that Power sales and marketing representatives will no longer visit your home to discuss current sales and marketing promotions when Power is performing other work in your community.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I had someone from power come out to my house and give me an estimate for my roof and gutters. I ended up just going with the gutters which I was told would be around $7000. I was not given any paperwork with the estimate on it. I was told they were giving me discounts and promotions to get me to this price. The team that came out to put up the gutters did damage to my property. When I was contacted by the financial company I was then informed I was being charged over $11,000. I tried to get this resolved with Power, but they said the only thing they could do was extended my contract to make the monthly payments lowered.

Copies of the signed sales agreement and signed project specifications page of your sales agreement are attached to this response.  These documents were complete and signed by you and Power's Remodeling Consultant on 6/12/2024 when you agreed to enter into a contract with Power.  The scope of the work to be performed and the project price are clearly listed on these documents.  Furthermore, on 7/1/2024 when the work was completed you signed a Completion Certificate that also indicated the total price of the project that Power performed at the home.  Power has always made the price and scope of the work for your project as transparent as possible and available to you.

Power's local installation office in ********** is aware of the concerns with the porch roof after the trim work was completed and an Installation Managed is scheduled to be on-site to assess the roof on 11/8/2024.  We look forward to having any outstanding concerns resolved for you soon.

ordered a replacement window approx 2-3 months ago with an install date od Oct 21 between 9-10 a.m. Called Power this morning Oct 21 to confirm arrival and was told the window would be installed as scheduled. waited all morning for the installation until 1:30 when i called to find out what the holdup was. The individual i spoke with informed me that the install would not be done a scheduled and would have to be rescheduled for a later date, now scheduled for Oct 29 between 9:45 and 10:45. am not pleased with having to wait all day and then having to call the company myself to find out that the install will have to be rescheduled. that to me is very poor customer service and what i thought was a very decent company has now fallen short of my expectations. after having to pay over $600.00 for the replacement window i am having my doubts about Power windows

This company installed windows in my home that are in need of repair while under warranty-they are less than 5 years old. One replacement window was ordered in July 2024-they require the entire window to be replaced even though it is just the glass that needs to be swapped out. They cannot complete this until Jan 2025. I called in October 2024 about another window has broken mechanisms and they cannot get a service technician out until Feb 2025. They will not allow me to have these windows repaired and submit a claim for reimbursement. They were very quick to come install and set up a line of credit with a predatory interest rate, but it is nearly impossible to get them to come back to correct mistakes or repair issues that arise from faulty installation.

       Complaint: 22435545

I am rejecting this response because:

The original repair request was cancelled because the expected date of completion changed from end of September 2024 to December 2024 without any notification. The second repair was called for in October 2024 and the earliest date they can get someone here is February 2025. If you want windows as a new customer-they can come in a few days. Why do repairs require MONTHS? There was zero compensation offered so I can get the necessary repairs done by someone else in the meantime. The lead times are criminal-they take your money then you cannot get them to come fix their mistakes in a timely manner.

      Good morning,

We apologize for any missed appointments in the past, we understand what an inconvenience that can be and Power considers rescheduling any appointment a last resort.  No compensation was offered to have the concerns addressed by a 3rd party because Power would not longer be able to warranty the work under Powers lifetime labor warranty if a 3rd party were to remove, modify or repair any of the work Power performed.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to having your service concerns addressed as soon as possible.

       Complaint: 22435545

I am rejecting this response because:

The warranty is useless if the customer cannot utilize it in a timely manner. 4 months to get a repair appointment is unacceptable, especially when Power has no problem taking money from new customers and scheduling a salesperson or technician to come install in a matter of days.

Power is very quick to take your money and install faulty products or use subpar technicians,  but they will not make an effort to expedite repairs when their products or services fail. Their warranty is impossible to utilize when needed.

I had power home Remodeling install siding on my house in 2021. The siding has blown off the house 3x over the years and they do not repair it properly. It has fallen down and struck a tenants car this last time it fell in November of 2023. I have been waiting for them to repair it but never came back. I call and are promised a date of repair but that date comes and goes without communication. I was supposed to get a call today to discuss a repair date but that never happened.

On 10/12/2024 I meet with a salesperson on replacement windows. I told the salesperson I would be paying cash and was asked if they could do a SOFT credit pull so I would get "no money down". To which I agreed and unlocked my credit. Instead, they did a hard pull as if I was going to finance.I want this hard inquiry removed as it was unauthorize.

      Good morning,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners like you very seriously. I apologize for any frustration or aggravation this issue may have caused. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.

On 10/11/2024 you completed and signed a credit application authorizing Power Home Remodeling and/or it's lending partners to pull your credit report for the purposes of securing financing in the event that a loan for your project was necessary and/or desired.  A copy of this signed credit application detailing this authorization is attached.

      Thank you,
