      David bridal refused to give me a refund on a dress that was completely paid off with paid alterations because they said I abandoned my dress after saying I could keep it on hold with only the balance of 03 cent. Not once did they ask what happened for the reason I wasn't able to pick up my dress instead they made me wait two months just to tell me our abandonment policy's states we could not reach you so instead of offering me a store credit or a refund they told me sorry we will not refund you or give you a store credit even tho we have proof you paid the dress off and never received the item you paid your hard earned money for yeah ???? so thank you for not caring about a paying customer and basically telling me oh well you getting nothing great place huh ??????????

      Purchased 2 pair of shoes online for on sale for $17 each. Checked out & realized it was only one pair of shoes. Immediately texted the customer service "texting number" & asked for the price match on Google & asked for the the 2nd pair of shoes to be sent to me because they were CLEARLY being advertised on Google for $17. I thought I was purchasing two pairs so I didn't question the total price of $34.xx when I checked out. The representative on the texting line said they would check into it & get back to me & go about my day. Of course I took screenshots of the online advertisement. They came back later in the day & said they couldn't send me a 2nd pair or credit me/ price match because the advertisement was old & not current with their actual website ad... Like, what?! I have NEVER heard of a company doing that!!! EVER! You HONOR what you advertise! It's not my fault that they can't keep up with their business!!! I asked for the 2nd pair of shoes & the credit several times & the representative on the texting line just kept saying they can't honor it & that they can't even find the ad on Google anymore... Of course not! When they should of been taking care of me in the morning as soon as I texted & brought the issue up & asked for the 2nd pair of shoes/ the credit matched, they were too busy getting someone to update the ad on Google. So, I came here to leave a review since I clearly was not getting anywhere after going through several representatives on the texting line. After providing CLEAR PROOF of the ad they had on Google, they acknowledged it, refused to honor it, & turned my request for a price match of THEIR OWN ADVERTISEMENT DOWN. Now coming here, I see David's Bridal has nothing but completely terrible reviews. It all makes sense now. I guess I can't expect much from a company that expects consumers to pay for their own shipping & handiling fees to return items. David's Bridal definitely just lost my business for life.

      Terrible experience. I purchased a gown for my mom's retirement party. I CHECKED the return information ahead of purchasing. Well, it didn't fit her and it was the biggest size. I asked for a return, everything was easy...until I receive the actual refund! They took off 37 dollars for printing the label AND shipping. A HUGE chunk of the dress price. NOWHERE on their website does it say they will do this. Complete ripoff. You're better off going into store or buying from AMAZON. I even asked them via text and that's when they told me why I lost that refund.

      My mother purchased a mother's 3-piece set. My mother became very ill and literally lost 50 pounds in the course of 3 months because she was dying after we purchased the item. I called David's Bridal to see if we could exchange the set for a smaller size but because it was outside of the return window they couldn't and wouldn't do anything. I was very disappointed that they couldn't help me. I understand they have a return policy, but I wasn't asking for my money back, just a simple exchange. It wasn't like she changed her mind about it or lost weight on purpose. They showed no compassion or sympathy for our situation and didn't want to help in any way. I will never go back to this place again.

      They don't even deserve 1 star but it was required.
      I ordered a dress and when I went to pick it up in the store a month later, it did not fit & was so wrinkled it looked like I slept in it. I was told I could not get my money back because it had been more than 7 days since I ordered the dress per their return policy. I left with the dress & contacted corporate several ways. I have received no communication in return even though I was told over the phone that I would hear back from them within 72 hours. It has been 2 weeks. I am now letting my credit card dispute the charges. I would never recommend this company.

      If zero stars was an option... I ordered a dress online for an upcoming wedding. It did not fit, so I returned it in the proper 7 day window, at my shipping expense. I shipped it via UPS on August 22, 2022. It is now September 21, 2022 and I still have not received my refund. I have contacted their customer service department three times. Each time I have provided the tracking number to the package as proof it had already been returned and received. It took until my last contact for them to admit their third-party seller never told them it was returned. Despite their internal issues, I still have to wait another 14 days for my money back. This is absolutely absurd. I will never order from David's Bridal again.

      Their business model is slimy at best.
      Returns only within 7 days, and only an immediate exchange within 60 days? What are they thinking? This is the most restrictive policy I have ever heard. They wouldn't even consider giving me a store credit.

      This is about the store located in Lubbock, Texas. At this point I have bought a bridesmaid's dress, had two separate appointments for wedding dress shopping, and bought a wedding dress with this store. Note: My bridesmaids dress and both of my wedding dress appointments were scheduled for Saturdays. This is because I live 3 hours away from this store and it is the closest branch to me.
      I scheduled an appointment for alterations, again, on a Saturday - I needed a mere one inch of length taken off and that was it. The lady had me put my dress on and then asked about a date to pick it back up and told me that it has to be picked up on a Thursday. I told her that a weekend worked better for me and she interrupted me saying Thursdays only. So, I told her my Aunt would have to pick it up then. And she shook her head telling me that I had to try the dress on so I would have to be here. I explained that I could not make it to the store on any other day then a weekend due to the distance I had to travel. She again interrupted me saying that Thursdays only. I told her that I would take my dress home and have it altered at a different store then. She seemed to ignore this but made the notes of the alternations I needed. We paid and went on our way. I then proceeded to call the store manager and explain my situation. The manager stated that she would mark a note on my order that my Aunt would be picking it up and I wouldn't be trying it on.
      My Aunt just picked my dress up this week and the clerk was extremely rude and snarky towards her about the fact that I wasn't there to try the dress on. At first, it seemed they weren't going to release my dress even though it and the alternations were already paid for. They eventually did release my dress.
      All around, my experience has been that if you have an attractive body type then you will get treated better, but bottom line, this store is employing snarky and rude women with no desire to assist the customers in any way.

      I ordered my dress from the Lynnwood, WA location in August 2021. I was told by the salesperson that I could take the sample dress from the store, or I could order a brand new one from the warehouse. It was a clearance dress, so I asked for confirmation that if I ordered it the dress would be brand new, and she guaranteed that it would be. I was not allowed to look at the dress when I picked it up. It was handed to me and I was sent out the door. When I got home with it, I discovered that the dress was not new from the warehouse, it had actually come from a store in Cincinnati, OH, and was damaged. There was a six inch rip in the zipper, and a lot of the beading was falling off. I live over an hour from the nearest store, and had to drive back to it to try to exchange the dress. The manager did not want to do an exchange, and had the alterations department "fix" the zipper instead. They did such a horrible job that I had to have a different seamstress completely redo it just to get the zipper to lay flat. I was offered a 10% discount, but that didn't even cover half the cost to repair the dress, or cover the gas to make the additional trips to the store. If they had been upfront with me when I ordered it that it might come from another store, I would have just taken the one they already had. I only ordered it because I was promised a brand new, never worn dress. I was lied to by the salesperson, the "repair" job was pathetic, the manager was not apologetic, and they ruined what was supposed to be the most exciting part of wedding planning. Terrible customer service at this location. I also can't believe the dress left the Cincinnati store in that condition, and then no one at the Lynnwood store bothered to look the dress over before giving it to the customer. It was a very large tear that could not have easily been missed, especially by multiple people. Complete failure by two stores.

      I have been waiting for a refund for over a month. In the past two weeks, I have called and texted many customer service representatives and no one can figure out to get me my refund. All I get is passed on to the next person. I would not recommend them as far as online purchasing.
