I have been working on my credit for years to buy a house and this popped up on my credit report. I don't recognize the charge and called to get more info. The 1st call was answered by a woman who had massive attitude while I asked for her to send proof of the debt. She then screamed my Date of birth and social out loud and took a threatening tone with me telling me I "wasn't going to talk to her crazy when I'm pretending that I don't know about a credit card" when all I asked is why she was getting an attitude with me. I hung and called back, spoke with a male who told me he didn't know why the account was on my credit and he would have to reach out to the original creditor, that call disconnected while he was trying to get my contact info. I called a 3rd time, spoke with a lady who said she would send me proof of debt, I gave her my contact info and then she began to interrogate me as to how the card opened and who would open it if it wasn't me, asking personal questions when all I needed was to get proof of the debt to make sure its mine before paying it. Like what is wrong with the employees of this company. I just want proof it's mine before I pay something that that say goes back 7 years.Business Response

This company has put two $761 collections on my credit report. This drastically impacted my credit score, dropping it by 70 points overnight.Besides finding it unusual for both derogatory marks to be for the exact same sum, I have no memory of this company ever contacting me to retrieve payment. I've been very conscious of my credit score and would have taken notice of a collections warning. I want these collections removed from all credit bureaus so that my score is in good standing.Business Response

If you can not locate me, then I wonder in what way you could've possibly contacted me. Since I've received no communication from you in regards to this debt. My former last name is *****. I've lived in many cities throughout Florida. Including Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Fern Park, Orlando, Poinciana, and Kissimmee. I would really loved this debt to be removed from my credit report, seeing as I've had no fair warning about your attempt to collect any such debt. Thank you so much.

This is on my credit report resulting in a drop in my score. I have tried for months to get a hold of someone but the number either won't work or the call is dropped. I have called on different phones on different days at different times. I've never received a letter from them trying to collect a debt. I would like this removed on my credit report as it is impossible to pay when the co.pany does not have a way to reach them.Business Response

I contacted *********************** to determine my balance in order to get reinstated back into school. It was at that time that ****** informed me that my account had been sold to Ability Recovery Services LLC. Upon contacting Ability, I ended up pressing zero because none of the selection was what I was looking for. The phone rang for a few seconds and the gentlemen on the phone picked up and said "William B**********, how can I help you?". I informed him that I needed my account number in order to make an online payment, without missing a beat he ran off a series of numbers to me. I thanked him and disconnected. When I went to the website it just ask for my information and my account number but never my balance. And then I started to think about how the person on the phone knew it was. I called back again, and another person answered the phone but when he answered it, he said it as if he was calling me. I explained to him my concern and he asked if I was working with an agent, I told him I was, and he attempted to connect me, but the phone disconnected. Three days later when an agent did contact me, he told me a balance, I asked him to email me the balance along with my account information. He said that was something they normally put in the mail (which I haven't received) and to this day I have yet to receive my email regarding my balance and account information. At this point Ability Recovery Services LLC is preventing me from returning to college because they won't provide me with the information, I need in order to take care of the balance.Business Response
