Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:Under FDCPA(fair debt collection practices act) you must be given written permission to report or collect from a consumer. I’ve never given ****** or ability recover any permission to do either. They failed to provide proof supporting their claims and they lied in this responds about a class action lawsuit that is very easy to find. So I’ve attach a free images from the class action lawsuit that they claim doesn’t exist.

To whom this complaint goes to. My name is ********************************** and I am filing a complaint against Ability Recovery Services. I was seen at ********* *** emergency room on 12.28.2021. I have never received a billing statement from ********* and all bills were paid in full. ********* provided ****** Physician Services with my medical insurance information, but no claims were ever received from ********** **** ******. I am now receiving collection calls from Ability Recovery Services for ****** Physician services for the full charged amount of $972.00. I was completely unaware that I even had a bill, nor did I receive one in the mail, email, or even a phone call. I have tried to provide billing information, but they would not accept. When speaking with the Ability Recovery Services representative, she did not even know the correct company she was trying to collect for. If ****** Physician Services did not properly bill my insurance, I should not be responsible for the full amount 2 years later. I also have provided my ********** **** ****** claims history report. I would like this to be removed from collections if there is any questions, please contact me at ************. I appreciate your time.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Please be advised this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that your claim is disputed in its entirety and validation is requested. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I have the right to request validation of debt. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. This is not a request for verification or proof of my name, dob or physical address. I am requesting documents/contracts baring my signature supporting your claim.
