    This company did $11,500 worth of work removing our bathtubs and installing walk-in showers for my elderly and disabled parents. I am their care-giver. They caused damage during the installation for which they are offering $100 when the damage will require far more than that. I have documented evidence (photographs) of the damage which was not present pre-installation. The owner of this franchise (***) was loud, uncouth, uncivilized, rude etc. in his dealings (conversations) with my wife and elderly mother when they (and I) tried to calmly deal with him. In fact, his second installation team (**** and ******) was witness to this behavior. *** was so loud that my brother (in *********) who was listening on ****'s phone could hear ***'s ranting and rude behavior!!! I have tried for three weeks to contact their head offices who just shunted the problem to the local office. I have been dealing with a woman named *** at the local office who has neither been contrite nor shows any concern regarding resolution. Others SHOULD NOT suffer this type of abuse from this man and this company.

    The Singhs contracted with us to complete 2 bathrooms on the same day. Bathroom 1 was a one piece tub/shower fiberglass removal to install a walk in shower. The tub extended out into the door jamb molding so the molding was notched out to accommodate the tub. During the removal process a few paint chips came off the door jamb. While going over the finished job of bathroom 1, *** pointed out the few paint chips on the door jamb and said we would touch up the spots if they wanted. Bathroom 2 was also a removal to install a shower. Once the tub was removed, a mold issue was discovered. We stopped work immediately until the Singhs could get a mold remediation company there to take care of it. ********************* contacted *** to have him move forward with the job without mold remediation and he would forego the warranty. *****'s negotiation was refused, mold cannot be ignored. When it was time to move forward with the installation, ***** claimed that *** agreed to install vapor barrier and insulation. That was never agreed to. Once bathroom 2 was completed, the Singhs tried to withhold $1100 from the payment (which happened to be the bill for the mold remediation). **** refused to leave without payment. In the following week, the ****** claimed we damaged the vanity area where the cabinet doors scraped the paint off opening and closing, and claimed we cut the door jamb molding to get the tub out (pictures taken at the sale show the custom notching to the door jamb to accommodate their tub). They demanded $1100, then dropped to $400 and finally demanded we fix it. During this, we offered in good faith $100 for the replacement of the door jamb molding and paint. When that was refused we stood by our offer to touch up paint or the $100.

    We are very pleased with Bath Fitters. From the salesman, ****, to the receiptionist *****, to the three professional installers, all were great. The installation took just a little over a half a day and when they left, the bathroom was immaculate. We would highly recommend Bath Fitters to others.

    Installers were very personable while being professional and thorough. They were cognizant of my animals ensuring they didnt let them outside as they came in and out of the house multiple times they were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. When they left they even bought lemonade from the neighbor kids stand The sales consultant was thorough and friendly Missy in the office was very responsive and helpful. Always returning calls as promised It was a very positive experience
