      Newrez bought out my mortgage without me being notified first. I was forced into this company. Had I been given the choice and read their reviews I would have gone somewhere else. This is an incompetent company. They have continually misapplied my payments and can't provide record keeping that is consistent or accurate. They issued me multiple refund checks and then when I cash the checks they bounce and I get stuck with a returned check fee from my bank. I have called in and spoke to someone multiple times and have been promised a resolution but I never hear from them again unless they send me more junk mail asking me to refinance with them again. Absolute crooks. NEVER USE THEM. To date the issues have never been resolved and it's going on two months with no communication.

      We just completed our VA loan refinance with New Rez. It was a great experience. Our loan processor, Stephen was always available to answer our questions and clarify any confusion. He walked us through the many documents and made sure we understood what they were before we signed. It was an easy and quick process. Highly recommend.

      I had a great experience. The Loan Officer was very nice and efficient. As was the Processor and Title company. Very good communications and lived up to everything they said they would do.

      Never notified me that they purchased my mortgage loan. Failed to pay my insurance, which they're responsible to pay for AS STATED IN A CONTRACT, and let my insurance expire, only to buy insurance for me without my permission. Very unprofessional letter, and customer representatives. If I could, I would give this company a 0 - Star rating.

      Everyone was pleasant to work with. I was kept informed and even with a few snags, we were able to close quickly after everything was corrected. This is my second mortgage with New Rez and I was very satisfied. Sean, Jeff and Lori were a big help. I would recommend New Rez.
