The one installer didn’t really speak English and the other has zero knowledge of the English language which was impossible to communicate. That was the first step of a bad service which was lack of communication and just dumping our unit in the wrong place and by waiving their hands which was a way of communication and refused to do the right install!! We have purchased a dryer at Gerhards and when it came to the install and customer service that’s when everything went bad!
We had an existing washer which had to get moved in order for the both units doors to work properly which was refused upon delivery. We were never informed by our salesman that installers won’t touch our washing machine otherwise we would have been prepared and moved the said washing machine in the functioning position!
They refused to come back to move the dryer replace the dirty used electrical cord they provided and now too short vent piece that they cut which won’t reach now once we move the dryer in the functional position.. No matter who we spoke to we gotten cold negative attitudes with zero responsibly where it came to costumer service … there isn’t one !!
Eventually after few phone calls …
We were told it will cost us again for anyone to come back to change out their used electoral cord which has some dirty substance on it and install the too short air vent! This is not a good business practice nor a fair one to a consumer!!! We spent almost $1200. for this dryer and it’s sitting in our house functioning improperly!!!
Needless to say we won’t be returning to this business… who wants to deal with another nightmare even though we have to make two more purchases.. I would strongly suggest to stay away from Gerhards .. find another store!! Anyone would be an improvement!!
All they had to do is follow up on our costumer service concerns as they promise to all visiting potential buyers do the right thing and we would have returned to make the additional purchases.!Review fromTerry J

My spouse and I purchased a washer and dryer with pedestal for$3200 on 3/20/23 and it was delivered on 3/22/23. The installation appeared to go well until the team informed my wife that they were done and to let the washer run through the cycle. After about 30 minutes and the delivery team was gone, water starts leaking from one of the hoses and it would not stop. She called the delivery office and they indicated that the team was off and would not return until tomorrow. I called and insisted that someone needs come out to fix the issue. She then stated just wipe it up. My floor was covered with about a half inch of water and leaking into my crawlspace. Then she hung phone. I the called Jordan the salesman and he stated the same. They were not concerned about the water damage to my floors. He also, HUNG UP THE PHONE because i would not accept there nonchalant attitudes. I have been calling Jordan to arrange a refund and return but now he won't return my calls. I have only had the items for 7days today and have been trying to coordinate the return of these appliances. Some one emailed asking for serial #'s and pictures and stated that a refund may not be possible. I sent to them but no response.
I can't continue to do business with a company that has inferior installation and provides horrible customer service. I forgot to mention that the pedestal drawers have a broken harnesses on both tracks. This has been a horrible experience.
Now I can't wash my clothes at home or have another product delivered because these appliances are preventing this from happening and I can't use them because t that would give them a reason to take them back.

Customer was scheduled for someone to go to their home on 3/29/23 and this service was canceled by the customer. Me and my husband redid our kitchen and bought a Thermador appliance package. Everything is working great, except for the fridge. It was making a high pitched ringing sound as soon as it was installed. The technician came out and replaced a part, but now the alarm that is triggered when the door is open goes off randomly (when the door is closed) - night and day. I have been woken up at 2am, 3am, 4am... The service department they outsource to has come over 4 times and done nothing to fix it. I called our salesperson 2 days ago and was promised someone would be getting back to me that day. No one has yet gotten back to me. Unless you want to be tortured by a $5k fridge that torments you, avoid this place like the plague.Gerhard's

I will reach out to customer service and have them call you and assist you with the "outside servicer" Your product comes with a manufacture warranty and if there is an issue with the unit you can also reach out to the manufacture. Gerhard's appliance is a retail store whom supply the customers with the products they choose. We do not make the product. Service on any product is covered by the manufacture warranty. Word of Warning!
Think very very hard before you enter Gerhards Appliance. The only time you will get friendly service is at point of purchase. Once they have your sale, the customer service completely disappears. Ironically, we avoided a big box store, thinking we would get better customer service at a mom and pop store. Boy, were we wrong!
I got my appliance delivered in less than a week but it took 5 long months to finally get the damaged product that was delivered repaired. What should have been an exciting new addition to my home became a stressful and frustrating experience that I was never able to check off my “to do” list.
During these 5 months (while having a damaged product in my house), I endured rudeness from staff when I could reach them, along with numerous unreturned phone calls and emails. Even the manager, who stated that “although some things are out of our control, the one thing we can control is our communication”, didn’t stay in touch as promised. Over the 5 months I heard such amazing things like, “I can’t talk to you right now, there are customers in the store.” and “I may not be able to talk to you on Monday as that is our busiest day in customer service.”
I worked in a service industry during my 43 year career and know what great customer service looks and feels like. You will not find it at Gerhards!!!!!
I highly suggest you find an alternate store to buy your appliances. In some cases you may pay a bit more, but will surely be treated better.Gerhard's

Bought a washer in March 2022 it broke in December 2022. It is now February 2023 and it still is not fixed. No one calls back about status and parts keep getting ordered wrong. I was told the wrong parts were in it to begin with. I will never buy from this place again and there parts people do not know what they are doing. The repair place that is called Fast Appliance is anything but fast. The whole entire operation is horrible and they should not be in business. I have also spent close to $200 just to have to get my laundry cleaned. NEVER AGAIN!!!!Gerhard's

I purchased a ********** Freezer Last June for Just under $1000. The shelves collapsed in use shortly thereafter.
Two service calls shortly after initial delivery and three promised and scheduled but incomplete delivery dates with the new replacement and no help from Gerhards.
I have lost five workdays and Gerhards has done nothing. What makes it even worse is I have never received a call back from their customer service. I have also asked Gerhart's to sell me a replacement of equal size at their cost to help me in some way and they stated they cannot. I cannot recommend them to anyone I know.Gerhard's

When dealing with Frigidaire direct we have no record on what transpires in those cases. Frigidaire set up with the customer directly to have the unit exchanged. It was their delivery company that was a no show several times.
Gerhard appliance must follow the guideline for returns and this was being handled directly between the manufacture and the customer. Once we were made aware of the customer's issue with the manufacture we stepped in to assist. In good faith we reached out to our representative from Frigidaire for assistance. We exchanged the unit for the customer shortly thereafter. We do hope that you would reconsider your stance on not recommending Gerhard's to anyone you know. Worst local company I have ever supported. Bought a dishwasher in October 2021 - 14 months later broke- called Gerhards who said I should be happy to have gotten 14 months. Really?? Called a repairman who said the whole back looked like someone took a sledgehammer to it- most likely damaged at installation, which Gerhards was paid to do. They refuse to do anything- beware of this company!!!Gerhard's

Check delivered appliances carefully. Do not accept if there are issues.
They delivered microwave with dents on door and panel, which I did not see until installers left Sent pics to salesperson who said I would be contacted by Gerhard Service. I was not contacted until a week later by a customer service manager when I responded unfavorably to their internal survey. He arranged to have parts sent to my home and said service would call to install.
Set up install through a phone text. First available date was 4 weeks out. Received text confirm, but service never showed at designated date/time. I had to reach out to service regarding arrival, to which they said they couldn't make it due to in climate weather; i.e. snow flurries. Next date pending 2 weeks out. Hopefully they will make it?Gerhard's

Bought a refrigerator 11/25. Was told 1-2 weeks. Didn’t hear anything so I called 12/9. I was told it was coming in on 12/21 and they scheduled delivery for 12/23. I received an email on 12/21 my appliance was still in transit and they would email me weekly with updates. Still nothing on 12/30 so I cancelled the order and ordered the same frig somewhere else.
