We have heard Mr. Evan's frustration and responded in true West Shore Home fashion. Our General Manager has personally contacted Mr. Evans and will be overseeing his project until Mr. Evans is totally satisfied. At West Shore Home we have issues arise with less than 1% of our projects. West Short basically removed my master bathroom for a very high price tag in fact. The workmanship left a lot to be desired and it took me numerous phone calls to get a representative to come review the work. The end result was trying to "fill" in the gaps between the wallboard and the new shower walls with calk. There remain large gaps between the wallboard and the shower walls. The end product does not measure up to the slimest of standards. The hardware used was also the least expensive and I had to replace the shower head after only a few weeks. I have pictures of the final product and I want to warn others of being taken advantage of by this company.West Shore Home, LLC

Mr. P******'s project was installed in January of 2020. We received Mr. P******'s communication and immediately sent our Installation Manager to personally visit his home the same day. We have identified the issue with his wall and have a plan in place to fix it. Our General Manager will also be reaching out to Mr. P****** to ensure his is completely satisfied.Mark P.

WestShore did send a representative to inspect my bathroom and have stated they will redo the installation totally. When that is done and completed to my satisfaction, I will remove my review. I look forward to having this work done.Review fromTammy H.

This is by far the most incompetent company I have ever Dealt with. Promised one day installation =lie , put holes in my dry wall and left it for me to repair, unprofessional messy chalking job that looked as if a toddler did it, put an u even drain in which means you can’t stand in the showers comfortably defective water temperature gauge that burnt me and my grand daughter, absolutely horrible experience, literally thousands of dollars for horrible work even left the shower dirty after they installed it.West Shore Home, LLC

We have heard Ms. H******* concerns and responded in true West Shore Home fashion. We immediately sent our master plumber and General Manager to her home to address any and all issues. We successfully resolved all issues except one as we needed a specialty tool. We offered to return the following day but that did not fit her schedule. We are returning at a date picked by her as that was the earliest she was available. We have issues arise with less than 1% of our projects, but when we do we will always own, stand by our customers and do the right thing to ensure they are 100% satisfied.Review fromMaxine E

1 starI called about a quote on a storm door. They gave me an appointment. Then they called back to tell me I had to replace my door as well. It’s new and doesn’t need to be replaced and I sensed something fishy so I canceled the appointment and hung up. They called me back today on a recorded line. All I said was that I cancelled my appointment and that I wanted them to stop harassing me. And I hung up. Why were they calling me on a recorded line? Did they think they could get me to say something they could call a commitment? Caveat Emptor!Review fromPatricia B.

I would give them no stars. $9000.00 for a shower that has proven they are simply liars. My shower after 10 months already the caulking is breaking down. I was told not to use comet to clean, and I haven’t. The non stain blah blah blah is nothing short of complete garbage.
The installation was a nightmare.
I had my own shower head but if I installed it my warranty was canceled. Are you kidding me.
It is a bait and switch advertising campaign.
When you watch the commercials with the shower door if you have one installed then your warranty is voided.
In my option They are a horrible company with no integrity.
I wish I had never had any dealing with them. Go get a real plumber and get a real bathroom contractor. You will spend much. Much less.West Shore Home, LLC

We apologize to Ms. B****** for her frustration but what she is saying is simply not accurate. Using her own shower head, or installing a shower door supplied by someone else will not void her warranty. The only things that would not carry a West Shore Home warranty would be the shower head and shower door as we did not supply or install those items. All other aspects of her project would still be covered under her warranty. Ms. B****** has not contacted us regarding any issues with her caulking but we will reach out to her immediately and address any issues she has.Review fromJoanna S

We had our shower installed by west shore homes last march, and we noticed a crack in the shower pan this past April. We called the company, they sent someone to our home right away to examine the problem, the guy said the installation was Not done correctly, the base board installed was wrong, therefore, causing this crack now in the pan. And around one of the edge where the seal is, that part was not sealed correctly , therefore causing mold to grow behind the seal. We had to wait until mid August for them to come in and install, then we received a call the day prior, to find out that they couldn’t do it b/c they didn’t have some kind of certification (which I’ve never heard of), and that it was out of their control. A couple of weeks later, we heard nothing, then my husband called them, and immediately they scheduled a date of sept 14, I received text messages and calls prior to confirm the appt, and this morning, on the day of install. The company tells me that they didn’t have the correct pan size for our shower, so they cancelled again!!! I called corp first thing in the morning and still have not heard from the general manager. This is the sloppiest process ever coming from supposedly a reputable company!!! Never had such a horrible experience!West Shore Home, LLC

We sincerely apologize to the Shepards for these issues. This is not the experience we strive to provide for our customers. This was an error on the part of West Shore Home and we own it as such. Issue arise on less than 1% of West Shore Home projects and that is why we have an A+ rating with the BBB. Our General Manager has personally contacted the Shepards, and will oversee the project until they are 100% satisfied.Review fromKatherine G

We had a remodel on our shower done in April. Well on the first try the panels were not glued properly, crown molding on our ceiling left with 2 gaps , pipes underneath were left with no covering and insulation left off of our water pipes, 2 4x4 holes in it. Here it is September and we have had them come back at least once a month to redo everything they messed up and they never have the work order for all the projects or they half do the job again. One guy came and put some kind of plastic that looks like trash bags on the pipes with duct tape and no insulation. Panels keep not sticking due to not being glued correctly. Still have not repaired crown molding. They have been here 4 times and always missing materials to repair things. Came back today with more plastic to cover the pipes. Those pipes were not covered that way when they arrived the first time and they won't be left that way. Poor workmanship and communication.West Shore Home, LLC

1 starWe hired West Shore Home in the summer of 2022 to replace our old leaking windows. The salesman was very nice and assured me that the windows would be replaced, as well as the wood surrounding the old windows that was wet and rotting. I confirmed with the guy who came to measure that the wood surrounding the windows (not sure what to call this, sorry) would also be replaced and he assured me it would. The install team arrived a few weeks later and got right to work. I thought things were going great until I went upstair to see them just pulling out the old windows and popping in new ones. I asked one of the workers if he was going to replace the wood surrounding the windows, as I shoved my finger through a rotted piece. His response was "yeah I guess I can if you want me to". This was after half of the windows were already installed, so only 2 of our windows got new wood framing, although I'm unsure if even those did as I was too upset to go back upstairs. A few days after the install I received an email requesting feedback, so I gave honest feedback regarding the replacement of the wood surrounding the windows. West Shore called me and wanted to schedule a time for the "install manager" to come out and take a look. It ended up being a couple guys (neither of whom introduced themselves as the install manager) who showed up two hours after the scheduled appointment time, only to look at the windows and say "yeah, we don't really do things like that" which resulted in us all standing in. my bedroom staring awkwardly at each other until I said okay well I guess that's all then. So apparently all they know how to do it is remove old windows and pop in replacements, not any of the framework around the actual window. Definitely stay away from this company. They also did a really great job of not including any details on the quote, so unfortunately I have nothing to prove what the salesman and measurement guy told me.Review fromBrenda W.

1 starWe signed up to have a handicap shower installed. They said they could come a week from the the sign date which was 7-6-22 but they could not put in the seat. I told them not to come unless they had all of the supplies they needed for the project. They changed the date to sometime at the end of August. Their salesman was very good in convincing us that everything would be alright. They can not show us any of the material we ask for except for a picture here and there and that scares me. I can not see exactly what the shower will look like. I have emailed and called several times and still no information or showroom that I can see what I am getting. I have found another company local that can show me what I am getting, it is using tile and it is 2015.00 cheaper. I need to cancel this contract and they want to charge me for work that has not been done and materials that have not been shown to me.
