    I do not recommend GoCertificates and wish they weren’t listed first as a vendor for Colorado. I have been very patient as I originally needed my birth certificate to renew my drivers license in person but luckily after months of frustration waiting for my birth certificate or any update from GoCertificates (which I never received) I was able to renew online without it. I wasn’t too worried because again it was listed on an official site but after seeing these reviews I regret not trying to get to the bottom of things sooner as this is clearly a scam. It’s hard to reach their customer support and just based off of the initial process it’s clear they just want to charge a fee and not actually provide the service that was paid.

    I am a Paralegal and DAR Registrar. I had two requests death certificate requests and provided the notarized letter request and necessary certificates showing lineage. I paid for both death certificates and an additional $40 to have both certificates sent to me by certified mail.
    In total I spent $103.48. I received one death certificate by first-class mail and a credit of $42.95 for the one certificate they were supposedly unable to provide me (all paperwork was the same for both death certificate requests).
    Please do not use this company. I wish I had read the reviews on this company before using them. I would recommend VitalCheck over this company, hands down.

    It has been over 60 days that I paid for this service. I haven't recieved anything and I need it to secure an ID in Oklahoma. I requested my birth certificate from Colorado. SCAM VIBES! ITS SO SAD THESE DAYS IT SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF SCAMS! $30 O guess would add up over each person scammed. Disappointing

    This is a scam. The county (I’m in denver) website made it seem like this was THE way to obtain the birth certificate. after reading other reviews it must have just popped up. They ended up charging an extra $8 fee just to mail a form (i filled out online) and i guess a check (to the county) on my behalf. I haven’t even received the birth certificate I ordered 2 months ago. Instead i just received the form I filled out in the mail saying I need a signature, and have to mail that back. DONT USE THIS SCAM SITE. Literally go to the county website, print off a form, fill it out, and mail it in with the county fee. That’s all you have to do. This site preys on unsuspecting people and makes a quick buck for doing pretty much nothing. Hopefully I’ll get my birth certificate.

    I'm sorry for the issue with your order. It was not mailed to Denver, but directly imported into their system. The issue was that the signature was missing from the application and you should have been contacted by our company to ask you to sign it. The order was processed on our end without the signature which is why Denver sent you the form to sign and send back to them. A refund has been initiated on our end for you to receive a full refund. It will be credited back to the card you used when you placed the order.

    I was in a rush to get my birth certificate. Now on Google this was one of the first ones to pop up. My license was expired so I had to show them Two other verifications that I was a resident. One was including a check with my information. This place is a total scam.

    I needed a copy of my birth cert. The state vital statistics website recommends using www.vitalcheck.com, but when I pressed the "order" area online, GoCertificates popped up. I went with it, but the application process wasn't easy and they made me upload my FL driver's license, along with my credit card info. It has been a month and still have not received my birth cert from them. They charged me $35 on this. They do not get back to me as well when i call in and leave emails.
    I would like my money back on this and get this website shutdown for being bogus.

    The certificate was ordered on August 6th and we processed the order on our end on August 9th. Florida processes orders within 3-5 business days not counting shipping so the certificate should be arriving in the mail any day.

    The customer is required to upload a copy of their driver's license/state ID/passport in order to prove identity and is required by the state. We do not ever require a customer to upload their credit card information. The customer does have to enter their credit card information as payment for the certificate, but it goes through the payment processor and the credit card information is never stored on our website.
