  Keystone needs to be more transparent about how it recieves the information they use to continue to charge people. It seems that half the complaints on this site are because of a miscommunication of information between them and the DOR. Either they are not keeping good records of peoples tax information or the are equesting the incorrect information from the DOR. I myself have been charged twice by them and the curative process is confusing and almost impossible becuase the information they are requesting is over 2 years old and no longer accesible. They are absolutely terrible at communication because these "communications" they claim to have sent are not seemed to be recieved by the people who they claim, owe money. Do better. Whether or not they mean to double dip, they in essence, are due to the poor communication. Do better Keystone. A tax collention agency should not be this prblematic.

  Got a letter in the mail from this keystone group stating that I owe taxes for 2021 / didnt state any amount, on the back of the letter just had a form to fill out. I filed my taxes already on turbotax and their telling me that I need to pay local taxes, they did get the correct township that I am in however these seems like a scam to me as I have filed taxes the year previously and never got a letter from them before. I called and they ask for SS# or account # and thankfully I had account # because I definetly was not giving the SS# what is going on with this company???

  Received a letter from them with "intent to garnish wages" for delinquent Lower Southampton Income Tax from 2017 - 5 YEARS AGO?! I fought back and provided by W2 showing it WAS PAID. I received a letter that my invoice was 0'd out and no delinquency, an Account Resolution Notice. Thought it was over but then I received another letter, for the same "delinquency" amount but now it's magically owed to Centennial School district and Warminster Township. That makes absolutely no sense. Why would I receive an account resolution notice and then immediately receive the same delinquency notice for the same amount but now its applied to another jurisdiction.

  2019 I moved to ************ ** for 3 months from ********. I worked during those 3 months, was not paying rent (staying with family ) I moved out of state after 3/4 months, and have been getting notices at my new address for them trying to collect money that I dont owe? I did my taxes for that year, Im squared away and seeing these reviews and the truth has made me settle on the facts I already believed were true, someone needs to do something about this rouge business to be honest. Im still receiving letters stating I owe more and more money? Seems like a scam to me.

  Looking at these reviews, I can see that Im not the only one being screwed. Let me start by saying that my employer takes out local taxes. Ive NEVER had an issue with it until Keystone decided to come after me for 2019 taxes that were paid AND reported on time. I first received notice of this so called delinquency in May 2022. I promptly called them and was told everything was good. Received another notice about the same thing in August 2022. Once again I called them and was told it was taken care of. Two weeks ago those ******** wage attached me for taxes THAT WERE PAID AND REPORTED ON TIME! Once again I called and spoke to multiple agents who had no idea what they were doing. After about thirty phone calls I was told everything was fine and Id get a check in the mail as a refund of the wage attachment. Fast forward to today..I got two letters from them. One letter says I dont owe taxes (duh) and the other now taxes me for a different township for that same year that I never lived in. I think a trip to district court is in my future. Get your **** together Keystone. This is simply unacceptable.

  Made-up bill, intimidating language meant to scare people into giving more personal data and pay fake bills. **** ********* wants to make this crap illegal, ** owns KCG stock

  Keystone collects group uses scare tactics and predatory businesses practices. Keystone sent me first letter stating I owed taxes to local township from 2017. It is currently 2022. I called their help desk and they stated I do not owe money, I just needed to send in my w2. So why invoice for $900 instead of a letter requesting backup? Life got crazy and I forgot to submit so of course a second letter where they are going to farnish my wages due to not paying $900, which I do not owe. Long story short, if I did not pay for tax services I would have written them a check and been non the wiser.
