    Submitted an invoice for a tow service. It was denied. Warranty states that it covers tow's for up to $150 dollars a day. Because they denied a previous claim for a service being done. Was told different information from different employers of that company, none of their responses aligned with one another even after I quoted what was stated in my warranty contract. Left confused with no issues resolved. I just wanted my refund for a tow. This has been a horrible experience for the past 3 months. Will never be using them again.

    I contacted this company about three months ago letting them know that I needed to cancel my agreement with them because I had purchased a new vehicle and wanted to know what I had to do on my end to cancel ASAP. The person told that he had already canceled my policy and that I would get a check in the amount of $927.00 in seven to ten days. I waited two weeks and called them back. The person on the phone me told that they had issued a check and that the first one must have gotten lost in the mail and that they would issue another one. I waited two weeks and called again. This time I informed the person that I was recording the conversation on my end because I had read their reviews and there was nothing positive at this company. The guy went on telling me about how much problems they have been having with their accounting department and that it would be easier if I could let them pay me via *******. I told him that I don't use ******* and just needed a check. I have now called this company about 10 times requesting to talk with a manager and letting them know that conversations is being recorded on my end and all I get is excuses after excuses. I've even them permission to put the $ 927.00 back on my credit card. It's now well over two months and I still have not gotten a check.

    I am rejecting this response because: Very funny…. Today I got a call from a ****** letting me know that they wanted to get this matter resolved and wish to send the refund to my pay pal account. I once again told them that I don’t use *** *** nor do I use ***** or any other form of electronic payment and that I just needed them to send me a check or refund the $927 to my credit card. He said that I would have a check 7 to 10 days from today. Here we go again!!!! I asked him to please send me proof of the check being mailed along with proof of the other checks that were supposed to have been mailed to me. I have the phone conversation recorded. I’m not holding my breath that I will get a check anytime soon. So once again I have these guys recorded laying through their teeth and now they are laying to you saying that this issue has been resolved.

    I still have not received a check from these people. At this point I'm seeking legal advice. They are still trying to force me to receive payment via Pay pal, which last I checked is illegal for them to force me. If they did issue another check, this would be the 4th check that has been lost in the mail and they still have not been able to provide any proof to me that a check or checks were ever issued

    I purchased an auto warranty policy through this business (policy #*******) that has a 30-day money-back guarantee and full refund. Within the 30-day terms, I contact the company to cancel my policy, and received confirmation that my policy had been canceled and that a full refund of $2,025.00 would be issued. After waiting the time period that was original expressed on how long it would take to process and receive my refund, I still do not have my original purchase price back. I have spoken with the company three time about this issue, each time the company expresses their apology and insist they will have it done by a new date, constantly pushing the refund date back further and further. Based on the conversations and dismissive nature of their customer service staff, as well as their inability to provide specific information on the status of my refund, I do not believe this company in honoring their claim to refund my original purchase price and will continue to drag out the refund for as long as possible. I would like this refund to be issued and the process expedited to not cause further delays and push back their "anticipated date" over and over again.

They have been unable to give me a date or check information, nor has my bank been able to confirm any attempt by the company to refund directly to my account. I believe the company has marked my account as in refund status, but hasn't issued any money back and constantly delays further and further. If the company had paid this refund, they would be able to provide basic details which they have not.

    On 3/4/2023 I notified Concord Auto Protect that we no longer have the ****** ***** that we purchased the warranty for on 8/7/2021 and requested a refund. The representative confirmed the refund was for $494.00 and stated the check will be mailed and will take 7 to 10 days for us to receive, I called the company on 3/27, 4/4, 4/11, 4/14. 3.27.2023 called-check is in the mail 4.4.2023 called-check is in the mail-will send another check or we can use ****** which we don't have. requested another told it takes an additional 7-10 days 4.11.2023 called and spoke to another representative and she confirmed no check was sent. The representative said she would mark high priority and send a request for an overnight check to be mailed. I also sent and e-mail requesting a check on this day. 4.14.2023 called again and got another representative that confirmed one check was mailed on 3.23.2023 but nothing was done after that. He asked if we could use a ***** account and asked for a phone number. I provided the phone number. He wouldn't take account information. We received notification that the deposit was rejected and sent back to the company. I called the representative back and explained what happened. Requested a check to be overnighted and the representative stated that the money was sent to deal with it. I believe this is warranty fraud and they have no intention of refunding me my 494.00. I am not requesting the BBB assistance.

    I purchased an extended auto warranty for $2,775 on 12/16/2020 to be effective through 12/16/2024. In approximately mid-February, 2023, I terminated my policy and was informed that it was effectively terminated on the date I called, and that I would be issued a refund of a bit over $1200. I did not receive a refund check within three weeks, so I called to find out the status. I was told that there was a delay in accounts payable and it would be more efficient to issue the refund to my ****** account. I verified that account information and was told it would be issued to my account within two days. That was four weeks ago, and I still have not received my refund. When I call (during regular business hours) to inquire, my call is sent to an answering service that states they'll pass my message along, but I never receive a call back.

    I Had a water pump that had to be replaced. As of today I have still not received any contact with the “Adjuster” ****. Only get contact from their customer service department that I will get a call or email from someone. Never happens. I’m starting to believe they are a scam and don’t want to pay their valid claims.

    I requested to cancel my auto protection coverage (vsp#*******) on February 26, 2023. I was told by ****** (customer service) that I would receive a pro-rated refund by check and email confirmation. However, on March 6, 2023, I was billed for the next month's subscription and hadn't received a refund or email confirmation of the cancellation. I made another call on March 17, 2023. In this call, I spoke with **** (customer service) and he gave me the same script, that I would receive a refund by check and email confirmation. I asked to speak with a supervisor and when he patched me to the extension, it immediately went to voicemail. On April 4, 2023, I was charged again for the next month's subscription. With no refund by check or email confirmation, I called back and spoke with ******* (customer service). I received the same script, that I would receive a refund by check and email confirmation, and this time, no supervisor was available to speak with. I called again on April 7, 2023, I spoke with Unique (customer service) and received the same script, however, I was able to speak with a supervisor by the name of *****. ***** didn't answer my questions but promised to escalate the request. About five minutes after my call with *****, I received a call from someone by the name of ***** who stated that he was calling from Concord Auto Protect and offered to send a refund by PayPal. At this moment, I feel as though I am possibly being scammed.

    BUYER BEWARE I purchased the Premium extended auto warranty from Concord Auto Protect on 8/3/21 for my recently purchased 2014 ***** ********* ***. I have always heard of horror stories from warranty companies not backing their product so I read a few reviews and ended up calling Concord. The sales rep was very eager to earn my business and was quick to answer all of my questions. Some of the questions I had for them were pertaining to exactly what was covered. 1) Is the engine covered. 2) Is the transmission covered? 3) what other components are covered? I was assured by the sales rep that all major engine components, transmission, any and all electrical issues, and everything else that could happen was covered. He used the term bumper to bumper they would have my back. Awesome, I can rest assured if there were any mechanical breakdowns I could count on Concord to help me out. What a joke. I have made two claims. The first one being an electrical issue which they were no help with. Okay, this was not a very costly repair and I was able to pay for this with no problem. This first experience was just the tip of the iceberg. It kinda left me feeling like, hmmm, what exactly was I led to believe with the bumper to bumper, we have your back. On Monday, March 20th my trucks transmission decided it was done and left me stranded on the side of the road. I had it towed to my mechanic who told me that the trans was dead and the truck needed a replacement transmission and torque converter. We contacted Concord and they requested some photos and maintenance records. I regularly have my truck serviced for oil changes and tire rotations so I forwarded all these to Concord. After sending the info over and over again and being told the claim was in process and they were still waiting on service records, finally they said they had what they needed and my claim was being expedited and they would get back to me shortly. Lies! I kept calling daily for the next 3 days with the same story. Now the weekend was here and I am no closer to having my much needed truck back. Monday, April 3rd I was told that my claim was denied because ***** transmissions have too many problems WHAT???? WHY WOULD I HAVE A WARRANTY WITH YOUR COMPANY IF YOU YOU DO NOT WARRANTY MY VEHICLE?? Better yet, why would you take my money if my vehicle is not going to be covered under your warranty? Why was I assured by Concord my truck was covered? The transmission is a major component and I was specifically told that it would be covered. How can these people sleep at night? BUYER BEWARE! Concord Auto Protect is not there to protect you. They will tell you lies and dodge you at every opportunity they get. I feel betrayed. I disputed my claim and was told theyd give me $500. The repairs for this will be over $5,000. Are you guys kidding me? I will upload all of my out of pockets receipts as soon as possible.

    I purchased a protection plan from concord auto protect. When I went to file a claim I was placed on hold then told someone would call me back. I asked what mechanic to bring my truck to for service and they wouldn't give me an answer. I believe this service is a scam and they actually don't cover repairs as their warranty describes

    No where in the agreement does it state that Concord is to supply the parts to my mechanic. There’s a major discrepancy in what got approved in the claim and the work that actually needs to be done. The estimate for repairs is $3600. $600 will not cover it. Concord is refusing to cover my rental that I had for 2 weeks while they dragged out this claim. They do not provide the services as advertised. I asked concord to pay for the parts at what they cost and they did not reply

    I have a auto service contract with Concord on my 2013 ******* ********. In their ads they say you can bring your car to ant ASE accredited service location including the dealer. My suspension air pump failed and my car is at ********* ******, Princeton NJ. The part from the dealer costs 1900 dollars. Concord wants to ship an inferior quality pump to the dealer to install that costs **** dollars. The dealer policy is not to use aftermarket parts or used parts as most dealers do. Concord wants me to pay 900 dollars difference. Why do they say I can bring my car to a dealer for repair when they wont pay for the part that is the proper part for the car? I have been talking to a ***************************** at concord who has hung up on me three times. He will not give me the name or phone of the President of concord that I asked for. He is adamant that he will do absolutely no more for me. Aftermarket parts fail far more often that the original equipment part.

    We approved and paid $600.00 toward the same repair over 2 years ago as a courtesy before this customer started. We approved the full parts and labor for the repair at hand which is over $1000.00. We reserve the right to use an aftermarket part. It carries the same 2-year warranty as the factory part. We are also still covering this part. We approve thousands of repairs a month with aftermarket parts with no issues. Sorry that you are unhappy with our plan.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The Concord company has been fighting with me for almost a week. They offered another two hundred dollars toward the part but are now saying they only approved 180 dollars towards labor which they have previously stated on the phone that they will pay for the full labor 1300 dollars. They keep putting me off, unable to commit to a final agreement. My car is fixed and ready for pick up. The final bi from the dealer is 3215 dollars and Concord is saying they will pay for 180 labor, 1200 in parts. They are willing to pay for the work of an inferior repair facility using outdated labor figures and aftermarket parts even after the advertise that you can take your car to a dealer for repair. No respectable dealer uses aftermarket parts supplied buy an outside company and very few outside repair shops know how to properly repair a complicated car such as a *******. I have spent a lot of time on hold, multiple phone calls, I’ve been hung up on three times and even received a call from a Concord employee harassing me a threatening me for which a ******* **** from Concord called and apologized for. This company has simply decided that they don’t want to pay for a quality dealer repair. The last air compressor pump was replaced 12/21 and lasted 7000 miles of service.  It was an aftermarket part of similar inferior quality. If Concord did  or want to pay for dealer quality repairs they should not have advertised that a customer can take a car to a dealer

    We cannot approve any more than what was already approved, however, this was approved in full. If you are unhappy with the outcome of the claim you can get a pro-rated refund, minus what we have already paid out. Please advise. Thank you

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I will not accept a buyout as that defeats the purpose of my purchasing the contract. I will maintain my contract and will never accept or condone the abuse that I suffered during this process of trying to get this resolved. I was hung up on 5 times and my phone number was blocked making me unable to communicate with them, this company refused to negotiate, I will never be happy with this resolution to my complaint. This would give Concord and anyone reading these comments the idea that I am pleased with the outcome. These people at Concord are thugs and unreasonable and BBB unfortunately has no power to help me. I will keep my contract for another 3.5 years and continue to fight for fair outcomes from Concord.
