My son wore a heart monitor from cardio net for 7 days and after that was told everything was fine. They billed the insurance company and received no payment. Waited over a year to send a bill to us which then prevented us from submitting to our FSA which would have covered the bill, thus leaving us to have to pay the bill. The customer service department is the worst, they never return phone calls or answer emails. Set up a payment arrangement and then received a statement in the mail that was nothing like the payment arrangement that was set up and was told we were delinquent on the arrangement when it hadn't even begun yet. After reading all the other bad reviews of this company I do not understand why any doctors would continue to use them.

Billing and cost for monitoring is outrageous. The device did not pick up when I manually logged events. Billing $9,000 for 30 days of monitoring is just crazy. The device and phone aren't worth more than $300. Department of Justice should do a deeper dive into their billing practices.

Was recommended to me by my Heart Doctor to wear for about a week, I believe. I wore it for about a day and a half. It hurt so bad I had to take it off. Caused a sharp, pulling pain in my chest. I took it back to Drs office. They would not take it, informed me I had to mail it back. Will Never Use Again! Why would they make a product that could harm someone?

I was issued a monitor from my cardiologist for 7 days in august. I received a bill in February asking for 430$ co pay on a 7000$ bill. I went online to check the claim with the insurance co. They billed the ins co 3500$ and my portion was 215$. I’m now trying to get the issue resolved. I wonder how many folks don’t double check their ins claims or don’t have the means to and just pay the bill. Seems like something fishy is going on within this co.

I picked this up about 2 weeks ago from my new cardio Dr. I was told someone would show me how to use but they just handed me a box of equipment and said to call the number they gave after 5 PM that day. I called and they walked me through putting it on, it was fairly easy but I felt uncomfortable doing this myself. It's supposed to an important piece of equipment. I felt I was doing everything wrong. I was not told about the functions and the items on the " monitor " that needed to be watched and recorded. The monitor is one of the cheapest androids you can buy, not fit for anything really, other than to make phone calls in an emergency. Unless you're living under the phone tower. The sensor taped to my chest was causing an allergic reaction from the very first day. I have scaring because I let it stay on almost 10 days, before I decided enough was enough. But the itching, burning and blisters from the patch were not enough to have to deal with, it was the monitor ( cell phone ) having to be recharged every 3 to 5 hours, it going off all hours of the night for no reason, chiming, making noises, and needing to be charged, the constant messages telling me to move the monitor closer to the sensor ( you can't be more than 5 foot away from the monitor ) I had it no more than 2 foot away at bedtime and in my pocket while in the daytime, it couldn't be any closer. I would call Tech support and be home hold at least 45 mins each time, only to speak to someone that would tell me to send a ECG test and be still and quiet. Nothing related to what I was calling about. I told them about the blistering and rash and they said " yes some patients get that, could you send a test ecg please " . I finally called the Dr's office and a nurse there was sweet and kind and told me to take it OFF and send it back. I did immediately, my skin is in horrific condition, I immediately put on benadryl creme and hope to have my skin heal. IMO I don't think this works, I am not confident in it.

Horrible company! Billed $9000 for wearing this monitor one week. If your doctor sends this, go see a different doctor! They are in it for the money only!!

This company does not honor the "quotes" that they give. When I called to see how much it was going to cost me, they told me it would only be a couple hundred dollars. I received a thousand dollar bill. When I disputed, they said that is what my insurance did not cover... But they did not honor their quote, sent me to collections, took me out of collections, lowered it to 500 instead of a thousand and still not honor what they tell their patients.
The monitor itself did not give me the options to say what my symptoms are, majority of my symptoms are reported as "other".

This should be zero stars.... First, I received my device and the phone kept saying not connected and the monitor of the chest was flashing. I called and BioTel customer service said they will send another one out with no charge. Not only did they fail to pick up the arrhythmias that occurred while I was wearing this unit but the high heart rate and heart palpitations. I think they are scamming people by sending out monitors that do not work and BILLING them for it and the next device does not collect accurate information. Yes, I called them and they SAY that the first one shows a recording but when I called about the dysfunctional device the call center said no charge and it wasn't giving a reading. I had no problem about paying the one that I wore for week or so but I am not happy about paying for the device that didn't work. The sad part is this happened to my aunt as will. My device was provide in February and got billed in October. My aunts received her devices in the Spring and she passed away June 25th, so I am not sure how she was billed. I told the customer service I was going to turn this company in, but after reviewing this now I know why she didn't care. Lots of complaints and probably nothing has happened.

They sent my bill to collections before my health insurance paid. I paid the bill. My insurance company paid them again the same amount a month after I paid. I have been calling for reimbursement for two months. They still haven't reimbursed me.

Run as far away from this company as possible. Plan on being on hold a half hour and having your monitor/cell phone sending you a warning message every half hour that your sensor/patch Not Firmly connected. Then it will tell you to replace the patch. Well guess what give it an hour or less and it will start all over again. Mine was only activated 30min before it started acting up. In the first 2hrs I was on the phone for 73min with tech support. Then within 15min of them helping me it started all over again. needless to say I left the phone/monitor in the Livingroom so I could sleep. The nest morning it started all over again. Called my doctor told them I was removing the POS and sending it back to the company. In the 24hrs that I had the monitor on it never sent a single bit of info to the company. Thank God my life didn't depend on this heart monitor I give this company a -10. Tom H
