1 starCochran in **************. Took my truck for a warranty problem on Apr 7th 2025. They kept the vehicle and supplied a loaner truck. After 5 days they said I could pick up my truck, it was done. I drove it home and parked it. When I went to use the truck, there was a huge puddle of oil under the truck. It had to be towed back to them to fix the problem. I had to rent another vehicle quickly. When I finally got my truck back, they informed me they would not pay for the second rental. They said ** would not pay for a non GM vehicle, yet the first rental truck was a Dodge that they paid for. Cochran is blaming ** for not covering the second rental. My contention is that my truck should not have been given back to me without road testing it first. It was their fault Ihad to rent a second vehicle. Cochran is a multi million dollar organization but they can't reimburse me ****** for their mistake. I have bought eight vehicles from these clowns but I WILL NEVER BUY OR RECOMMEND COCHRAN EVER AGAIN.Review fromJoyce J

1 starThis complaint is for Body by Cochran, *********** Location.I took my car in for minor body work on March 25th. As of April 21th, I still do not have the car. There has been numerous delays and excuses. They even said the cost to repair my minor damage was more than the insurance adjuster's estimate. What concerns me the most is the constant deception. They would say the car would be ready the next day (on several occasions) and it was still days or a week later and it wasn't ready. They would claim they needed a part or the car needed to be scanned (again)or some other complication. My car is a 2011 ****** with ****** miles, newly inspected and in great condition. This was a minor fender ****** in the front of the car. It was still drivable. It has caused me the loss of my volunteer obligations, doctor's appointments, classes, and visits with friends and family for over a month. My husband is an Army veteran and I am a retired teacher. What happened to honesty and good faith business practices? Even my insurance agent suggested we take the car elsewhere and file a complaint. That's how bad this has been.Review fromKym Y

LIARS AND SHYSTERS. Brought our 9 year old ****** in for trade-in, ******* had offered us 10k, ***** Blue book said 10k. ****** magically found a litany of problems and offered us 5k. The car had been serviced and inspected 2 months prior AT THAT LOCATION and gotten new brakes and tires. Now the tires and brakes need to be replaced and there's a crack in the engine block. Either the service team at ****** is incompetent or the people at the dealership are liars. So we sold to ******* and put a deposit down on the car. The salesman gave us an APR and monthly payment and we went and sold the old car assuming that was accurate. Turns out the guy didn't actually run our credit, just made up some numbers, and there was an error on our credit report that prohibited us from getting the loan without a co-buyer. At every stage, they were either grossly incompetent or liars. I will never go anywhere near this dealership again.#1 Cochran Automotive

1 starIve taken my car to this service department multiple times. Each time, they keep my car for multiple days because they just didnt look at, even with an appointment scheduled every time, and they always try to make you pay for things you dont need or recently had replaced. My main complaint is that I got my battery replaced here at the end of August 2023. My car was stalling to start and I took it to another dealership where they said I needed a new battery and quoted $425. They said that the battery wasnt installed correctly and wasnt registered to the car, which caused it to run through so quickly. After checking on the service paperwork, I also saw that they charged me $570, significantly more than the other dealership. You cant even get in touch with anyone at the dealership. I tried contacting the head of service with no response. Absolutely terrible business that takes advantage of females and cant even do their own jobs correctly. 1 starThis has been the worst experience in car leasing and buying.I started all the leasing process online and through emails and phone calls because of the pandemic in 2021.When I went to check the vehicle in person it was missing accessories that ****** was not including on the * Trim.They never explained that before doing all the process and running my credit ********* was hard to change my decision once I went to see the vehicle and signed the contract. *ervice was always pushing for doing more on the vehicle.Besides when I requested to rotate the tires with the first oil change.They didnt rotate the tires and on the second year of leasing I had to put new tires on the vehicle to pass inspection even when the vehicle had very low mileage on it. I decided to purchase the Lease this year and the finance department ran my credit with a bunch of Banks to see what will suit them better, so I got my credit score affected cause all the hard inquires.They were very pushy about getting a service contract cause of all the things that could go wrong with my car.The company they use for extended warranty and gap insurance is *********** NOT get in business with them. I had to contact them for more than 4 months to cancel the service contract.After more than two months of the contract being canceled I have not yet received a check.I contacted ******** over the phone,I had to go in person to the Dealer to ask where the check was. Cochran said they sent it to ****** Finance, which it does not make any sense since I started financing with ******** when I purchased the vehicle. I contacted ************** and they cannot tell me whether they have received the check or not. *o till this day I have no idea where the money is. They owe me more than 1700 dollars. If youre buying your Leased car go directly with your Bank. It is really sad how they have treated me all these years. I WILL NEVER do business again with this dealer or any Cochran. 1 starI got my car back after 3 weeks of sheer frustration and the inconvenience of being without a car with Cochran Hyundai of Monroeville. I dropped my car off on 8/23. The dealership service department gave me conflicting stories on what the issue was with my car. At one point the service clerk wanted to give me the part number to help with finding that piece to repair my car. How insane is THAT! They said it was no longer in production so they had to get it from an auto scrap yard in Ohio for a 2008 Azera. It took another week for them to receive it. Then I was told there was a gas leak. First story was that it was a vapor leak. Next time, my son called, the story was changed to a liquid leak and I needed a gas tank replacement. Then the story went back to it's a vapor leak. Then I was told the car was ready Wednesday 9/11/24 but no one called me. I called Friday after work to find this out. My son drove me over to pick up my car. I heard road noise coming from my trunk area on the way home. That noise was not there before dropping it off with them. My son opened the trunk and found Cochran released it to me without bolting back on the 2 metal plate gas tank covers. So the job wasn't actually finished. This has been the worst auto repair experience of my life. I've received better auto care from start to finish from smaller auto repair shops. No more dealership repairs for me.Review fromNancy T

I don’t see how you can rate them with an A+ there is no truth in advertising with this company. They are actually false advertising and admitted to it. I recently scheduled a 30,000 mile service. There are about 20 items listed on the website that are included in the 30,000 mile service. They preformed 3 of the items mostly just an oil change. I paid $570.00. When I reached out to the manager he told me the website is wrong. You don’t get all the items listed which in fact are necessary for keeping your car safe for driving. Fraudulent advertising. I will never bring my car to this service center again after 20 some years as a customer. When I checked the oil the next morning after sitting in the garage, the oil looked dirty. I think I paid $570. for a car wash. Of course the manager will not refund my money but said he will give me a free cabin filter installation which was included in the 30,000 mile service on the website but he said that it is not. Unscrupulous business. Buyer beware! And I suggest the BBB review this business. The rating is misleading.#1 Cochran Automotive

They kept our car for a month plus, did not provide a loaner until after we had to rent a car for a week, and did not communicate with us in any meaningful way. Loaner was obtained after escalated phone call to one of the company directors, who told us "one was coming back that day" and then they just pulled a car off the lot to placate us. We have a 2011 GMC Terrain that has some issues. They did things to it, but many of the issues are persisting. They were unresponsive when we let them know that the check engine light was still coming on and that the issues are continuing. We paid $2600 plus the $500 car rental and got almost nothing for it. They do not care about their customers and they do not think outside of the box in any way when trying to find solutions to automotive repair issues. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE WE DID.#1 Cochran Automotive

1 starThis is for Cochran ************* Pa.Mr Rob Cochran I did not realize that your company was flush with cash to be able to treat your Service Customers in such a manner to call them a name annoying yes your manager **** used that name for myself and my wife. These are the three people on July 5th that I came in contact with . ****************** and *****. I made an appt for an intermittent noise that was occurring on the drivers side. 6 hours later I had not received an update, so I started reaching out - no one would pick up the phone. It took me over 20 minutes to speak to someone only to be put on hold and dumped into a voicemail box. After that another hour for a call back- so that was over 7 hours without receiving an update. When **** finally called back he said that they were not able to duplicate the noise and admitted that it was only run around in the back gravel lot. When I arrived back to the dealership to pick up my car- I asked for the video of the diagnostic because, **** did not instill any confidence that any real effort was put in to find the problem, the did not video the diagnostic as required. I asked why he did not reach out sooner he said he was busy with paperwork. On my way home the noise occurred again I called the dealership and spoke to **** he advised no one wanted to talk with me because I was annoying and that we can not use a recording of the noise he was sure that the noise was not a big deal, he also said I was welcome to take my vehicle somewhere else. You will find no documentation that this visit occurred because they did not write it up. I only have the key tag number from when they initially took the vehicle in. WOW- never have I experienced such dismissive, rude, uncaring treatment. Clearly you do not need my vehicle business in service or future purchases because you have people working for you like this, who drives everyone away. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. and I am telling everyone I know, every chance I get.
