      I have placed multiple orders through both Free People and Anthropologies websites, all of which were confirmed and later canceled without explanation. I received no prior notification or justification for the cancellations. I verified my payment method, shipping address, and order history, and there is no apparent cause for these repeated failures.This pattern of behavior indicates either poor customer service operations or an internal issue with account handling that has not been communicated. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter through standard channels, I have not received a satisfactory response.

      I have been shopping with them for years as the clothing is adorable. The quality can range, unfortunately, and the prices are high, but I love their clothes and would be giving them a 4 EXCEPT I received a dress today that was too small, got online, selected the correct size, initiated an exchange, went to my local store and made the return to trigger the exchange. The process LOOKS like you have 7 days to return your item from the time you receive it and then they will ship out the exchanged item. I retirned my dress within hours of receipt, on the same day. While at the store, I was ASSURED by the staff that an exchange code meant the item was reserved. However when I got home, I got an email stating I would NOT be receiving the dress I had exchanged for after all. They did not reserve it and do not reserve exchanges as part of their policy, despite the staff assuring me otherwise. Now, I no longer have the other dress and don't have the opportunity to see if a seamstress can make an ********************************* should be clear in their policies and communications as I had conflicting information and relied upon false assurances. I could not be more disappointed. I was thrilled about this dress and liked how it looked on me, which is rare, and was going to wear it for a wedding.

      I placed 2separate orders with Anthropologie. Both sat in limbo for over 3 weeks as on the way with no movement. They used ************************ which never attempted delivery and provided no real tracking.This isnt just disappointing ... its unacceptable. For a company that presents itself as a premium retailer, the experience feels cheap and careless. The website is clunky, the shipping is unreliable and customer service offers nothing but canned replies ... if you can even get a hold of anyone at all.

      Ordered a monogrammed gift (candle). Shame on me for not reading reviews! Literally every review on their website is from people with the same issue...Completely wrong initial on the candle. Unfortunately mine was a gift that was opened ***** miles away by my son and his new ********* embarrassing for me! The wrong initial and their gift. Wow. ********** the company who states they will process a refund (I did not request a refund, I asked how this error will be corrected). No offer to replace the product, just an offer to refund due to their error.I received a refund. Days later I received an email telling me I had 30 days to return the item to them.I respond letting them know this was a gift and I do not have the item to return to them. Am I to further embarrass myself and have the recipient return it?Direct quote from the response email:"Thank you for reaching out! We apologize for the inconvenience. I request you to please do not worry and I've forwarded it to our concerned team. So that you can keep the item without returning. They will look into this and ensure to take proper measures in this regard. Once processed, you will receive confirmation via email with a solution within 72 business hours. Thank you for the patience. Have a great day!"I received no further response from ******** week later I received an email from them that my payment was declined!They attempted to charge me (again!) for the candle!I sent two emails two days ago and have heard nothing back from them.I have filed a claim with ******, not for money back but for their poor and fraudulent customer service.Please believe what you read about this dreadful company!

      Terrible customer service and nobody to talk to when there is an issue. Was told that I would hear back from customer service within 72 hours and nobody replied to me, instead they end up resetting your request so you wait even longer to get help. ******** especially since they charge so much for their products.

      I purchased a beautiful star wreath (according to the website pictures) for $74.63.

      What I recieved was a metal star with random pieces of greenery held on by black zipties all around it. Yes, the only thing holding this wreath together were black zipties that you can see across.the room. It looks like a $20 wreaththat I wouldn't even buy for that amount. Thin, bare spots, zip ties and broken pieces ready fallen off in the box.

      They refused to send a label for me to return. Pretty much a scam.site instead of the higher end quality seller they say they are. Now filing with my credit card.

      Don't purchase from here. They will rip you off and try to make it your problem on your dime for false representation.

      CB2 has much better customer service and quality items.

      Bullies!! I innocently ordered a coffee table from Anthropologie in May 2024 and we are still disputing it 5 months later due to their woeful customer service and inept accounting system. The day before delivery, Anthropologie rang to say they didn't have a perfect table so they were delivering a damaged one in the meantime. Huh? We had given away our old coffee table to make room for the new one so we took the faulty one in the interim to have something to use. We were both busy with work and the faulty table wasn't too bad so we decided to just keep it to make life easy. Anthropologie gave us a small discount. I paid with a foreign credit card so I incurred a foreign transaction fee on top of the final price. Hey, the price of doing business. I was ok with that. And that was the end.....or so we thought. 20 days later, Anthropologie refunds me the final price for no reason. I didn't notice it in my card statement until they emailed a month after that saying I need to pay up again or they're picking up the table. So because of their completely incompetent ability to match orders with accounts, I have to pay a SECOND foreign fee on my credit card when they charge me a second time after their random refund. I asked them to please cover the second foreign fee because they mistakenly refunded without an explanation but they refused. I told them they did not have permission to charge my card again and that the BBB could decide who would pay it. Within an hour of that email, Anthropologie had charged my card again anyway. They completely disregarded my instructions and went ahead charging my card after I specifically said no. In my mind, that is theft. Please read this and all the other 1 star reviews before considering giving your credit card details to this company. They cannot be trusted. And notice that Anthropologie does not respond to these reviews. They simply do not care. This is a case of a big bully picking on small customers. Disgusting.
