On July 13th, my card was charged $180 by Safe Auto Trucking. The original agreement was that I’d pay $800 in total to have my car shipped from Pensacola Florida, to Hartford Connecticut. After a week of no communication. I called my agent “******” on July 13th and he told me that there were no drivers willing to do it for that price and he raised my total from the agreed $800 ton $1100. Martin verbally told me my car will be delivered to me either Saturday July 15th or Sunday July 16th. My car has not been delivered and now I’m being told my car will be delivered tomorrow July 18th. The business has been reluctant to provide any communication for my vehicle and often times have told me “They do not know where it is” Very unprofessional. They’ve stated multiple times they were going to call me back with information and has never once called me back, instead I’d call back and be sent straight to voicemail and wouldn’t hear from them for a couple of hours and would have no update on my vehicle. The lack of communication coupled with the sudden increase of my auto quote shows lack of communication and a false promise of guaranteed fast and reliable auto shipping.Business Response

It is unfortunate that we were unable to meet the expectations of this customer. While the carrier was still within their contracted window of time for pick up, prior to the customer's request to cancel their order, we do understand the importance of proper communication from the carrier. We also would like to address this customer's claim of being misquoted. We have looked into the details of this order and this customer had selected our economy rate, which allows carriers to submit offers that are then provided to the customer. When an offer is presented to the customer, they have full authority to either accept the offer, or decline and wait for a more satisfactory carrier offer. Anyway, customer agreed and confirmed to secure the spot and booked the driver for total of $1075 and after customer harassed us that if we do not refund his money which was got as deposit he is going to call BBB and make a complaint, however, he signed the revised contract without doubt. Addditionally, we were helping to the customer with our best that $200 was our deposit according to the initial contract then we had to put only $175 in order to make the customer happy, as price was increase by drivers.
In conclusion, we refunded his money to his card entirely in order to get satisfaction, even if we have contract and it has all terms and condition that we can win, we attached last revised contract and proof of refunding money. This corporation makes it seem as if my demands were for a refund if not then Id take action. This is not the case. I originally spoke to my agent ****** on July 3rd in regards to setting an appointment. That's when the original contract if $800 came. From July 3rd to then July 13th I received NO information. I then call my agent ****** and he tells me that finding drivers are difficult. He then tells me the quote must be raised from $800 to $1100. My car NEEDED to be shipped July 14th and I'm receiving this information July 13th so I have no choice but to agree to quote. I never requested a refund from this company. I requested due to poor professionalism and accountability that we go from the $1100 quote to the $800 quote. The company then offered the refund however I still made my intentions obvious that I would get in contact with the BBB regardless of the outcome.Regards,

Hi! Dear BBB,
This customer is trying to make a confusion and does not know what he wants actually, according to his words and harassment we refunded his money totally. Additionally, he rejected that he never requested refund, however, we just attached the proof of he sent the message he requested his money which was charged for down-payment to secure the exact spot and again he is trying to make the case confusion without reason. Precisely, we have revised contract which was signed by this exact customer and we have proof of call history and text messages and we attached the proofs and we had sent last time the revised contract and picture of refunded his money on his card. Actually, we are not understanding what he is going to do?! Anyway, we are entirely sure that we have signed revised contract for last confirmation and we have dispatch sheet with the driver that we booked according to the contract which was signed by this customer and we worked for free of charge in order to help and get satisfaction.

In June 2023, we signed a contract for Safe Auto Trucking to pick up our vehicles on or around July 3rd in TX and deliver them to our home in MD. They quoted a price and since then have not fulfilled their end of the contract saying that there are no drivers willing to make the trip for the cost they quoted. We have suggested they are responsible for the additional cost of getting our cars shipped to us. At this point, there has been no resolution and our cars have not been picked up. I was seeking to have my car transported, *** from Safe Auto contacted me regarding my car. He was aware that I had contracted with another company but said that was okay and that I could get my money back. Due to his aggressiveness, I agreed to go with them and attemped to cancel my prevous contract *** was aware I had the contract with the other company and wanted me to sign their contract while cancelling the previous one. I was not able to cancel the previous contract and made *** aware. The next day, my credit card was charged $154 dollars. When I contactd him, he asked if I had reaed the contract. No where in the contract does it say $154 dollars so this leads me to believe they ware charging me more than quoted expecting the prevous compnay to cancel. He stated it was due to me canceling. When I signed the contract, he had full knowledge I was contracted with anohter compnay and HE knew I wasn't going to be able to cancel. I didn't know, I was going by what he said. Hello dear BBB,
Firstly, the customer had agreed to go with us after that we found and secured the exact driver according to the customer's time frame.
Then, the customer called us and said that we need to cancel and refund the reservation fee that we charged due to the customer was working with other company. That is not fair with ** as well, We had to cancel the carrier after we booked them. According to the 7th section of the contract we had right to get cancellation fee from the customer, as the customer was working with other company and did not stop even we booked the carrier according to the contract with the customer. Then, the customer complained and gave us negative on ******* then our responsible agent came to the resolution and agreed to refund the deposit and cancel the carrier in order to fullfill the customer's satisfaction. The order has been canceled and the money has been refunded. I am attaching the proff of refunded transaction.

Contacted Safe Auto Trucking LLC about transporting a vehicle on 4-20-23. Was given a date for pick up and delivery and set a price and left a deposit and signed a contract. I signed a contract with this company this to have a vehicle delivered, my estimated date wasJan 5th, 2023 I received a text from this company saying my vehicle would arrive no latter then Jan6th at noon. You see that there is no exact reason. At the same time, we do not need any problem with these loads that our customers gave with their trust. We are not talking about fee or something else. That's why when we are assigning a carrier for customers' vehicles, we check all the background, history as well as detailed information about the carrier company.

I am rejecting this response because: You have stated that there maybe a slight delay in delivery of the vehicle, yes things do happen. But when the vehicle is delayed 8/9 days later this is not a slight delay, along with drivers not communicating with the customer. So I do disagree on what a Slight Delay is.
Your contracts our written so shady for the consumer to to make good choices. The consumer should be fully informed on things such as . 1. If the drivers breakdown it could it could be 7/30 days before your vehicle is delivered, 2. Once driver has booked no matter what happens and you request to change drivers to get vehicle arrival in a timely manner you will be Responable to pay not only the driver that was hired to deliver but also the the driver of 1200 dollars or what ever fee is charged, along with your vehicle will be held hostage, by the driver because they will refuse to release the vehicle until they are paid. 3. Customer should be aware of the company being used before singing the contract, that information is only given after the customer has signed your contract. 4. How may break downs has this trucking company had with in the last 6 months, what is the ratings of delivery on time. There are so may more details that I could go on about but I won't.. It is the right of the consumers to have correct information so they can make good wise decisions of weather or not to use to transport vehicles. My experience with this broker was HORRIBLE, I would never use them again, So consumers BEAWRE if you choose to use this company, All I would like is the BBB post my complaints so consumers can read them and make good choices. We as consumers have the Right to be informed so wise decisions, and if we are not given the whole information as consumers we can't make wise decisions.

Company provided a contract to ship vehicle for $750 a month ago. Today on desired shipping date quoted me a rate of 1600, then 1500 then 1400 then 1300. Did not secure shipping. I made last minute arrangement on open market with another shipping broker and shipped vehicle with 0 days notice for 1100. We sincerely regret any trouble the pricing rise caused you when dealing with us. However, this does not imply that we are con artists; if this were the case, you would not be able to discover us on the Better Business Bureau. We only want you to be aware that the pricing is not solely based on us.
Let's explain what occurred there at the time!
When you phoned us for a price, we calculated it based on the separation between the pickup and delivery addresses as well as the past five shipments we had made on our end, and Carrier accepted it. The price we offer is always the best and average price for something, but we never guarantee it. On our end, everything was going perfectly. When we looked at your route on our load board, we saw that he had been double posted by four different firms at various costs, with our post being the cheapest of them all.Here, you were dealing with many brokerage firms concurrently, despite the fact that your car must be listed on the same load board regardless of which firm you engage with (The load board is where brokerage companies and Carriers meet and make deals). When you sought quotations from brokerage firms, they were all vying with one another and providing more and more in an effort to complete the task and secure Carriers for your vehicle. Obviously,that this was against Central Dispatch policy, which states that only one broker may advertise a customer's car at any given time.
Carriers then requested a higher price from us since the offers from the other companies you worked with were higher than ours. Drivers would naturally want to go to occupations that paid well, notwithstanding our efforts to keep the cost as low as possible. As an intermediary, we just offered the driver's request instead of raising the charge. We received no payment from you.
We suggest that you only cooperate with one firm for the next shipments; otherwise, ******************************* you will be in direct competition with yourself. The same carrier network is used in this market. And just one company is required to organize your vehicle shipment process and reserve a seat on the trailers of Carrier Companies. For this time, you were overcharged by another brokerage company and you had several companies which were working on the *************** hence, drivers requested more money due to the fact that you were competing with only you! Moreover, You have never made an order with my firm, conducted any business with me, and are not a complete customer of Safe Auto Trucking. You just went online and requested quotes from ten (10) different vehicle shipping firms, one of which was mine.
Please note that Safe Auto Trucking LLC is not at fault for the price rise. Both the client (you) and the service provider (us) are accountable for maintaining the price lock. This is the procedure. I signed a contract with Safe Auto Trucking, LLC through "****" stating that my transport would be $790. After multiple conversations reassuring me that the cost would not change, on the date of the pickup he texted me telling me no one is available to pick up my car on an open trailer as we agreed, but he could find someone for $1,400. I told him no, he said $790 so he kept texting back and forth and finally had to agree to $1,260 for an enclosed carrier that would pick the car up right then and deliver it within three days guaranteed or I wouldn't get my vehicle which I need where I moved, especially with having kids with me. For that price, which was painful for me to have to pay, I was guaranteed the car in three days from 12/3/22. Well, that date came and went, and I contacted "****"(definitely not his real name) since he had not contacted me and he had no answers for me but gave me the driver's number.. **Note, the driver is from another company, supposedly ********* out of Ohio. The driver, finally contacted me after a couple of days to tell me he was broken down in Indianapolis but that I would for sure get my car on 12/12/22. Again, no car and today is the 13th. No one will call me back, text me, nothing and I have called and left voicemails. At this time I'm going to be reporting my vehicle as stolen. I'm devastated because my kids and I need my vehicle, and I trusted these people to do a good job. None of their names are real, they don't care about what happens to the vehicles, and they don't even have any kind of tracking system. On October 22nd 2022 I reached out to Safe Auto Trucking LLC to secure transportation delivery for my vehicle from Oceanside CA to Richlands, NC. I was quoted a price and paid the down payment as requested. On the date of pickup I heard nothing from the company or the representative ****. The following day **** reached out and attempted to up sale me on a cost that was well over was agreed upon on the contract. Upon talking with ********** requested a refund and he stated that he would talk to accounting. Request my ***** and **** *** information for repayment but has once again ignored my phone calls. This incident is similar to a complaint flied on thus company just weeks ago. I am a active duty military member trying to excute a change of duty station and now I am fearful that this company is trying to scam me out of my money. I paid a refundable $100 deposit via ***** on 10/07/2022 to secure auto transport. The payment went to a Russian name, not a company and I felt uncomfortable. I cancelled on the same day and requested a refund. Today is 10/21 and I still have not received a refund. I got a text saying they are working on it, but ***** takes seconds.
